“Kara and Ben have a beautiful, kind, and loving family. They welcomed my high energy puppy girl into their home, and she clearly had fun playing with their dog and kids for many days while I was in the hospital. I get the sense that they want their kids to experience different pets for the learning experience, which is very cool I think. They seem to enjoy the experience overall, which made it so comfortable for me. Thanks so much!”

“Tammie was amazing with the dogs. She watched both mine and my daughter’s dog. She sent updates through out the entire stay. She made the boys feel right at home. So much so that they were crying to go back as soon as we got them home. Highly recommend and will be booking with Tammie again in the future.”

“We were extremely pleased with Brandi! She took such great care of Oakley for us and even gave Oakley her own special Thanksgiving dinner! We loved the pictures sent and the texts about how Oakley was doing! I’m happy we booked with Brandi again!”

“This is our 2nd time with Christy. Christy is a wonderful sitter. Rowdy never wants to leave when we go to pick him up. Christy makes sure Rowdy is happy and healthy. Also she sends a lot of pictures. Jody and Steve Thut”

“Marilyn was amazing!! When Nikko first met her, he instantly fell in love with her. She was great with communication and providing picture updates of him. He was spoiled with walks and play time. Highly recommend her!”

“Hannah is wonderful! Our Toby is typically very nervous/anxious with new people but he was right at home with Hannah. She sent us pictures and kept us updated throughout Toby’s time with her. We will definitely book with Hannah when we are back in the area!”

“Shawn and Joey were so wonderful! We were able to meet before hand so our dog was familiar with them and their house. They sent us updated and were very easy to work with. We would absolutely send our dog to them again if we needed a sitter we could trust. 10/10 recommend!”

“Nick and Dorothy cared for my fur baby like it was their own offering daily walks, playtime, and lots and lots of love. Great fenced back yard. Lots of updates and pics. Would highly recommend”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
