I don't think anyone can argue that dogs are amazing and wonderful creatures. I have three dogs of my own and they are my favorite living things on the planet. They are very affectionate and great with other dogs and cats, too (they love making new friends!)! Not only am I an animal lover, but I work from home, so you will always have someone available to take care of your fur babies while you can't. I take very good care of my dogs, including my Rottweiler, who is allergic to... Everything, so I am accustomed to medication administration. I will walk your dogs if they're used to that, keep your kitty's litter box spotless, and I will love them as if they were my own. I guarantee they'll be tired and happy from so much fun and affection, and I will treat them as if they were part of my family. As an aside, I love dogs of ALL sizes, and raised all of mine up from puppies, so I'm used to special needs and having to potty train and all that jazz.
