About: Hello! I’ve been around pets my entire life. Anywhere from small breeds to large breeds. I owned a German Shepherd for 7+ and also cared for kittens right from the time they arrived. I currently manage a restaurant since returning to the workforce after being a SAHM for years. My schedule is very flexible, and my time still is dedicated to caring for others as well as taking care of my family, work family, and animals! I can ensure when visiting your home that everything will be as you left it, and your animal very well taken care of and loved on. Sometimes I do have my kids with me who have been around animals from a small age. I always confirm that is okay with you and your animals needs before I allow them to join me. I find it’s best to teach them young so they understand animals and how to care for them responsibly and respectfully.
About: I have plenty of experience with handling and caring for animals as I have 3 dogs, 8 cats, 4 turtles, 4 frogs, and 2 lizards. I grew up with animals and have volunteered at animal shelters and worked at an animal care hospital as a kennel tech. I'd love to open my care to other people's pets as it's something I'm pretty comfortable and trained in doing. I've had pets my entire life and have a pretty strong passion about animals and can care for any range of breeds or size without issue. I'm very flexible with scheduling and timing as I have a lot of free time and can do pretty much any timing required even most last minutes if needed. Im open to all the services for pet care on here and really do make it my priority for who's pet I'm caring for. I do have a baby that i need to take with me most places but i can babywear him or figure out something that works if comforable! I recently left my full time job job to have more time for my hobbies and side jobs that i much prefer. I can be home all day if need be, and when boarding I do keep my pets separate in the lower portion of the house unless I'm supervising so all pets feel secure and comfortable. I have a fenced yard and a deck that leads out from the living room. I ask that requests be for non destructive dogs as i did board two unbehaved dogs last year that tore into furniture, so please no requests if the pet has a history of being destructive! I let your pet warm up to my home first and make sure to follow the specific care needed per each pet according to the owner's directions.
“Kayla was absolutely incredible with my two dogs! Very thoughtful and communicative. She made us feel comfortable and kept us updated on how everything was going. I’ve always had a hard time leaving them when I go out of town but Kayla was so awesome I didn’t worry and will absolutely be using her again in the future!”

About: I have worked with a very large variety of animals. I have worked at rescues. So I have special care in blind animals, aggressive animals, animals that need medication, animals that have seizures and more. I am very confident that I can take care of your sweet little babies. I’m currently available almost every day Anytime of the day We can discuss my schedule more if you want to book with me! Very flexible usually I will feed, walk, medicate, clean, play. Whatever is needed whenever I will do. I am very patient. And I understand that animals have feelings too. I love working with hard to handle animals. I promise you I will treat your baby with as much love and respect as you would.
About: First off, we work with you! Pricing is just a base, definitely contact us to discuss what you are needing and we can figure out a price that works for us both! We are a mature, dedicated couple turning our lifelong passion for animals into a full- time retirement journey. My (Jennifer) background includes years of working with a wildlife rescue and operating professional mobile petting zoos. Kelly has helped me with petting zoos since late 2023. We are both comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and species of animals. We currently volunteer at our local animal shelter, walking and socializing dogs of all temperaments. We are also studying and learning basic obedience training and practicing with the dogs at shelter as well. And Kelly has recently finished dog grooming school and is working as a groomer. With both of us focused on your pet, someone is almost always available for potty breaks, playtime, and companionship! We follow your house rules and medical instructions to the letter. We treat your pets like our own "grand-animals" - with extra spoiling and total safety. 🥰 Find us on FB - Keener Pet Services We are flexible, but I do expect our business to grow and for our schedule to start filling up. We will always do what we are able with any available time that we have. Unfortunately, we are unable to bring cats or dogs to our house. However, we can bring caged animals to our house if that kind of care is needed. We have experience with indoor bunnies, guinea pigs, geckos, hedgehogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, and snakes, just to name a few examples of animals we could bring home with us. In your home, we would request a detailed outline of what you would need done and how you'd like us to do it. We respect people and their property, so we would only go into the common areas of your home, and any areas you've requested service in.
“Amanda is great with Scooby! We really appreciate her communication and photos the entire time we were away. She is very trustworthy and caring, and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands!”

“Suzanne was nothing but spectacular. She was extremely meticulous with our pets and I was very comfortable having her stay in our home. She went above and beyond with things around the house, inside and out. Watered plants, filled feeders, laundry etc. She was always reachable and sent pictures. I am pretty particular with who I choose to watch our pets and Suzanne exceeded my expectations. ❤️ Thank you, Suzanne!!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals from a young age and I’ve grown to love it, I love it so much I’m going to school and turning working with animals into a full time career. Over the years I have pet sit, dog walking , and cat and dog grooming anything you name it!! I’m currently still in college and next year I’m starting my veterinary journey. At the moment I’m doing my classes online so I will be able to tend the the fur babies as needed We have a huge yard, lots of play space we have doggie crates* if needed* if they have a schedule I will stick to that just let me know:)
About: i’ve taken care of 2 dogs since i was 12, from puppies that came from them to until they were ready to be adopted, I know how to potty train and administer medicine if needed, and i just love playing with them i’m currently working part time on the weekends so my availability will be mostly weekdays, im also a student at dalton state college but it shouldn’t affect my availability. I care for pets by following the owner’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get walks or playtime, and receive any medications as instructed. I prioritize safety, keep the home secure, and provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pet is in good hands.
About: I have experience with pets who need senior care as my own corgi had glaucoma herself and I’ve had to provide loving and compassionate care. I am passionate about pets and consider them family and treat them like my own. I consider myself very responsible and would give the highest quality of care and would send progress notes and photos for the fur parents and keep open lines of communication for reassurance in event you’re away. I’m studying for my sterilization certification exam and have my days and evenings available for immediate bookings. I would be able to take your beloved fur baby out on a walk and make sure they’re fed and cared for. I’m available on most weekends and have them open to provide consistent and loving care. I would care for your beloved pets like my own as I’m a dog mom to a very energetic and sassy corgi who requires lots of attention and love. She too is well cared for and I would go above and beyond to make sure your pet gets consistent attention and care and know how loved they are. They deserve all the belly rubs and spoiling and would receive it freely with me since I am a dog mom who loves dogs. For overnight stays I would make sure they were fed and go to go outside to run around and use the bathroom and get some fresh air before going to bed!
“JaNiya is a phenomenal housesitter, especially if you have shy animals (but *any* animal would love her!). We have two skittish greyhounds and a very shy adopted cat. Within one day, our cat was sitting in JaNiya’s lap, and our dogs were relaxed and happy. I couldn’t believe it! She has such a calm, tender presence, and you can tell she adores animals. She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

FAQs for House Sitting - Angelville
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 210 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Angelville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Angelville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Angelville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Angelville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
