Having two of my own rescue fur babies and helping friends, family, and neighbors, I’ve developed a calm, confident approach that pets respond well to. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every dog like my own—whether that’s administering medication, going on long walks, or simply giving them love and attention while you’re away. I am currently in the process of credentialing for a full-time healthcare job, so I am available at whatever day and times work best for others! I am unable to have dogs at my home, but am happy and willing to follow any instructions you provide me for taking care of your fur baby in their home and environment! About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

Sara gives off a calm, confident vibe which put my family at ease with leaving our pets and house with a stranger. She sent us pictures/videos regularly and the animals looked happy and relaxed.They were sad to see leave at the end of the week. We will definitely be requesting Sara's services again.”

I have a neurotic cat who needs medicine daily, and I was nervous about leaving her with a sitter because she hides from strangers. Veronica got her to eat her medicine, and after a few days, she sent photos of my cat peeking out from the room she had been hiding in. Eventually, my cat allowed Veronica to pet her. Knowing my cats were taken care of, eating, and getting medicine allowed me to enjoy my vacation.
Veronika was fantastic during our vacation. She sent us photos and provided updates on how the dogs were doing. Veronika was an excellent dog watcher for me!! We met before and just went over things for my house and dogs and she was very good at taking care of my puppies, very sweet and caring and sent lots of pics which I loved. I would definitely book her again, we have actually talked about that. I highly recommend her for anyone needing a dog sitter, she left toys and treats for my puppies before she left and made sure my house stayed clean!!
