“Katia was very helpful. Her home was clean and her dogs and kitten seemed to do well with Connor. Connor chewed his leash in two and Katia went and bought another and said we did not need to pay her back for the cost. Of course we did though. We would recommend Katia.”

“Indy and Lex loved staying with Gerard! They were very comfortable with him and settled into their routine without issues. He was reliable, easy to communicate with, and treated them like his own! Highly recommend!”

“Kylie was great! She kept in communication with us and sent pictures of how Dolly was doing. We weren’t worried or stressed and could feel like Dolly was in a safe environment. We will definitely use Kylie again!”

“Brendan was a life saver! He responded to my last minute boarding request for my mastiff at close to midnight the night before the stay started😅 My boy spent two nights with Brendan and his pup. He’s never been away from home before so I was a little nervous but everything seemed to go well. Brendan was very easy to reach and he sent pictures and updates regularly. I would definitely book with Brendan again! Thanks so much!!”

“Alexis was fantastic with Bentley! He can be anxious when away from home, but he always seemed relaxed and happy in the daily updates I would get. He even let Alexis trim his nails, which he seldom does with anyone!”

“Crystal was phenomenal! She was professional, reliable, and always quick to respond. Our pup was treated like a queen and came home happy and relaxed. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Mallory was absolutely amazing with Harvey & Jack🤍 She kept me updated throughout their stay, made them feel comfortable, & treated them like her own! Harvey immediately bonded with her (which says a lot because he’s very shy), & Jack came home happy, tired, & well cared for. She was attentive, communicative, & clearly loves animals. I would absolutely trust her with my boys again & highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, & patient with dogs of all personalities & sizes!”

“This was our first time boarding our dogs and we were super nervous. Max is a German Rott and not the friendliest at first sight. It takes him a moment to get comfortable with new faces. However, he is truly a loving, loyal and protective doggie. Marley, an English Cocker Spaniel is easy to adore and just wants hugs and rubs all day. Desirae was nothing but hospitable, patient, accommodating, and professional. She continued to provide photos and updates while we were away and made sure we were comfortable. She was very aware of what they needed and following our instructions to ensure they maintained their routine. This was such a wonderful first experience and I would definitely recommend Desirea. Look no further - she is absolutely amazing!”

“We’re so grateful for Julie! It can be really difficult to find willing and compassionate care for longer trips. Julie was very responsive and flexible with changes we had to make. She went above and beyond for George and took such good care of him. We had no concerns or worries while we were away and it was such a gift to our family. I highly recommend Julie to anyone and we’re excited to have her care for George in the future!”

“Kyungyeon was above and beyond the most incredible sitter for our Copper!! We got so many updates and made sure our boy was happy and comfortable the whole time!!!! We are so thankful!!”

“Karen is very kind. I feel very comfortable leaving my small dog with her. I would definitely use her again. Kallie is a lap dog and I have not left her in over a year and a half because of Covid. Karen let Kallie sit in her lap and gave her the love and attention that she craves.”

“Amy was excellent. She treats dogs as if they were her own. Very safe and warm environment, and she works from home so your dog is always cared for. We already rebooked with Amy.”

“Our dog Zeus ran up to Steve like they were long lost friends. We were worried as we only rescued him a couple weeks ago that he met not acclimate very easily and were very excited to see Steve build such a relationship with him off the get go. Zeus came back home happy, healthy, and excited after staying with Steve and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible sitter for their beloved pets. Steve was extremely kind, professional and personable and let us know how Zeus was doing at the house. Thank you and we'll be sure to book with you anytime we need a sitter!”

“Ellie is a fantastic dog sitter. She watched our Beagle for 4 days and he was well cared for. He takes several medications and she was experienced with older dogs on meds. I could relax on vacation knowing he was in good hands.”

“Yelena was great! She watched my four month old puppy and did a great job slowly introducing her dogs to him so that he was comfortable. She also sent a lot of pictures and videos giving me updates on how he’s doing. I’ll definitely reach out again in the future.”

Samantha and James are amazing people aside from caring for George :) They went above and beyond caring of our pup while we were out of town. Samantha was proactive with communication and pics - putting our minds at ease that George was doing well and thriving. We are so incredibly grateful they folded George into their loving home at the last minute with confidence and joy. We would absolutely recommend Samantha and James to any one!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
