“Lauren did a great job taking care of my pup, who is very shy and anxious. Lauren was patient and gentle and allowed time for my pup to warm up. She sent lots of updates so I had peace of mind while I was away.”

“Ash house sat our goofy pack of 3 dogs and 3 cats for 4 nights/ 5 days and did a great job, especially as it was our first time away from our younger 2 pups, one of which was a little anxious with separation the first 24hrs. Our pack was fed and got lots of cuddles and playtime and our elderly dog got her meds and care. We received much appreciated updates and photos daily while we were gone and would highly recommend having Ash watch your 4 legged companions.”

“Nexsy was incredible. She helped on short notice and still snuck in a meet and greet. Polite, kind, and very understanding of our dogs. She went above and beyond during the time she spent with them by doing some helpful behavioral training. We felt they were in safe and capable hands. Highly recommended!”

“Kristina was wonderful and so patient with our rescue pup, Mia! Mia can be cautious and afraid of new people so it was nice to have Kristina be so patient with her (and me) about the situation. Mia opened up to her during her stay, and was even sitting on her lap! Kristina was also incredibly considerate of our home and left everything even cleaner than it had been. We were traveling internationally so her constant communication with us was so reassuring and helpful! Thank you Kristina!”

“Jeremy did a great job looking after my dog. He was very attentive to her needs and spent quality time with her and took her on long walks. He also gave great updates on how things were going with her. Also, the house was left very tidy and neat after his stay. I highly recommend him.”

“Jaclyn knows the many moods and temperaments of dogs. Under the extraordinary confusion of a major home renovation project, she was able to settle our rescued pup upon arrival. We appreciated her excellent questions, skill, patience and forthright approach to leading him towards full exercise, calm homecomings and lots of fun in between. Thank you, Jaclyn!”

“Matt was great- took good care of our pup while we were away for the weekend and sent pics each day we were away. He left our home clean, stripped the bed, and even shoveled our driveway when we got snow while we were gone! Recommended! Would definitely use Matt again.”

“Catherine stayed in our home during a long weekend. She did a wonderful job with my fussy cats and was great at getting my non-food motivated dog to eat her medicine. Additionally she was great at taking care of our home as well as our indoor and outdoor plants. I look forward to having her watch our house and animals again.”

“Anna was such a great sitter for my dog Stick. I was away with little to no cell service, yet Anna still left me multiple messages and photos letting me know how everything was going. Anna also made sure that everything she needed from me in regards to caring for Stick was taken care of before I left. This made me feel very confident in her abilities to care for my little guy. I would highly recommended.”

“Erin was wonderful! She filled in at the last minute, which we really appreciated! She was great with Bessie and Bo, and she sent us updates! Definitely gave us peace of mind that our pets (and our house) were in good hands! We look forwards to having Erin stay with Bessie and Bo again in the future!”

“It was Gabe’s second time house/dog sitting for us while we were out of town - he’s awesome! Kept us updated, and our dog who is not usually friendly with strangers came to love him! Thanks Gabe, see ya next time!”

“Priya was able to stay at our place for the week we were away and give Skipper some companionship, exercise and care. Hoping she is available next time we travel and need her help!”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, from my grandparents tiny poms to my own boxers, I love getting to know each pups personality. I'm also fairly active and frequently go on nature walks and hikes, so a buddy would be lovely :) During the weekdays I'm usually working until the afternoon, but my schedule is fairly flexible. On weekends I'm usually free for drop in visits, walks, or overnight stays. I'll make sure to stay hyper-vigilant of your pups wants and needs while they're in my care! I'm a very attentive and adaptable person, and I understand some pups take some warming up to. I can promise you my utmost patience and understanding.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is a lifelong foundation of hands-on care and deep respect for animals of all ages and personalities. I began pet sitting professionally between the ages of 11 and 16, but my experience started even earlier—I've grown up alongside four incredible dogs. I watched three loyal, high-energy black labs and one sweet, sensitive rescue chow-retriever mix go from energetic puppies to aging companions needing extra patience and care. I’ve learned how to meet dogs where they are with love, structure, and attentiveness, bringing both enthusiasm and compassion to every visit. I recently stepped down from my waitressing job to focus on my studies and spend more time doing what I genuinely love—caring for animals. Pet sitting fits naturally into my weekly routine. With my flexibility, I’m able to offer consistent, attentive care. I'm currently available weekdays from 7 AM to 9 PM, with weekend availability and additional hours upon request. I prioritize creating a calm, comfortable environment that feels safe and familiar to your pet. Even in their own home, being alone with a stranger is scary. I follow all care instructions to a tee, from feeding routines and medication to favorite toys and walking routes. I make sure to treat each home with the utmost respect—keeping things clean, tidy, and secure—and each pet!

About: I have looked after dogs for family and friends most of my life! I am comfortable working with dogs of any age and health status. As a veterinary student I have experience with administering injections, oral and topical medications. No matter if your pup is a high energy working dog or a couch potato, I will make sure they get the high level of care they deserve so you can have the peace of mind you need. I am currently on break from school for the month so I am flexible to meet the needs of your pets. Whether that means multiple visits a day for walks and playtime, or spending quality time for cuddles. I am able to adjust to your pets schedule. I strive to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable with me first. Building trust with you and them is my priority. You know your animal the best and I will be attentive to your pets needs and boundaries to ensure their safety and mine.

“Star is amazing with all pets and animals! She is very responsible and 100% reliable. Cats, dogs and birds immediately sense her kindness and love her. She knows what every animal needs physically and emotionally and gives them really first class care. That could mean a quiet, reassuring time or a super fun walk outside! Star is also a great communicator and looks after pets and homes better than anyone I know. Highly recommended!”
Amherst Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Rachel arrived on time and was very kind, attentive, and communicative with our pup Lucy. She hung out with Lucy for the day at our house and was very respectful of our home. She sent photos and updates midday which we appreciated very much. Would happily rebook, thank you Rachel!

Josh is the best with our husky Roxy! We went away for an extended period for the first time since getting our dog and were nervous to leave her since she can be anxious in unfamiliar situations. Josh took special care to make sure Roxy was at ease. He followed all of her care instructions perfectly and sent wonderful photos of their walks along with detailed updates. His passion for working with animals enabled him to build a strong bond with Roxy quickly and we could tell she was so happy to have him as a new friend. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Roxy was so well taken care of while we were away. We highly recommend Josh :)!

Beatrice was great! I'm especially impressed because she's fairly new to Rover, but she clearly loves dogs and knows how to manage them. Lionel has some special needs and she handled everything perfectly. Communication was also good. And my house was cleaner when I got home than when I left! I would definitely hire Beatrice again.

Erin was wonderful! She filled in at the last minute, which we really appreciated! She was great with Bessie and Bo, and she sent us updates! Definitely gave us peace of mind that our pets (and our house) were in good hands! We look forwards to having Erin stay with Bessie and Bo again in the future!

It was a pleasure to have Cathryn stay in our home with our pets. She is loving and professional. (She texted and asked a question about our cat, very responsible). We had peace of mind that our pets were in great hands!! We would highly recommend her; and will definitely book with her again.
