Top rated Altor house sitters

“We're grateful we found Stephen! He came to our hotel to pet sit, putting our dog immediately at ease. By the time we got back, they were best buds. Highly, 100% recommend.”

“A dream team! Great house sitters, communicators, and Kai and Devon were so patient with our shy, nervous rescue. Our dog had a traumatic previous life, so their understanding that building a relationship with our Fern is a long game is a breath of fresh air. Other folks tend to want Fern to love them right away and can be pushy or sad that she doesn’t show love, but Kai and Devon’s experience with nervous dogs is evident. Their patience affirms our Fern is always in good hands.”

“We left our special needs Chihuahua with Libby for almost a week. She took kid care of the house and of our little dog. I thought he would be ballistic when we got home, but you would’ve thought we were only gone for dinner.! Thank you Libby, for taking such good care of Ranger!”

“Brad did a fantastic job caring for our senior Greyhound in our home during an international trip. He was communicative, responsive, and asked questions when needed to ensure he was providing the best care for our girl. I’m very grateful that Brad’s professionalism allowed us to have a worry-free vacation! And a bonus- the house looks even better than when we left it.”

“This was the first time our two older golden retrievers had stayed with a pet sitter that was not either part of the family or a close friend. Lori handled them very well, even though one was quite stubborn for her. She texted me daily pics and was great to work with. Highly recommend!”

“James (aka Paul) stayed at our house for the weekend and spoiled our girl, Treasure. I think Treasure was a little upset that we got home today and her buddy would be leaving. Paul is now our go to for all things pet sitting related. Paul - thanks so much!!!!”

“Mary was spectacular while sitting for our dog, Holly, overnight in our home while we were away. It was a short trip but she kept us updated constantly with photos and messages detailing how much she ate, her activity level, mood, and bathroom activity. Mary was punctual, so polite and pleasant to speak with, and extremely professional. You can tell she takes her job caring for animals very seriously. I would 100% recommend Mary and definitely plan to book with her again the next time we’re away.”

“Annie was awesome! My doggy was one happy boy when we came home indicating to me he was comfortable and happy while we were gone! Annie is responsible, trustworthy, and great with dogs! She provided pictures and texts each day giving us peace of mind in leaving our dog at home for our vacation. Planning another get away so our dog can get some Annie time !!! 👍👍👍👍”

“Keerthi was so flexible with my schedule and was always happy to help with last minute requests. My dogs can be spoiled brats but loved having Keerthi stay in our home when my daughter got married. I highly recommend her and will be calling again in the future. Thanks so much!”

“Bailey was very patient with my difficult pup. He gave her great care and sent pictures and videos as well. He really made my trip less stressful. Highly recommended”

About: I have been a caretaker to neighbors and family pets since I was young. It’s been some time but I want to get back in the game. Animals of all kind bring me joy and I’d love to share that joy with your pets. I work 4 10’s but am off religiously Sunday, Friday and alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I can show up early or late and do overnights as well. It’s good for me since I am an early riser and late sleeper as well. Working with kids a majority of my life has given me a quality skill; entertainment and vigilance. Your pet will be treated like they are my own. I will do everything I can to make their time with me smooth and enjoyable. This goes for your home as well, it will be treated like my own, kept orderly and neat.

“Gabby was wonderful with our pup, Evie! She did more than we asked her for, and put up with our unique request. Evie warmed up to her right away and was great when we got back. We will definitely book her again if she is available. No complaints!”

I have A dog myself and she is very high energy so I take her out every 2-3 hours. I don’t have a fenced yard but I live in the West Chester Borough so I’m always able To walk her to parks or just around town

About: I love being with dogs! I love to run, walk, and just hang with dogs. I make sure to always have the time and energy to put your pets first! I am currently a part time college student and work part time, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the best of care!! I make sure to keep the environment clean and safe for all animals! About: Dog owner of around 10 years. Experienced with small and large dogs that like to pull on walks as well as anxious dogs and senior dogs with medication and other special needs. I am looking to walk dogs in my free time in order to get my doggie fix while I'm away at college :) I will be available in the late afternoon and evening on weekdays and most anytime on weekends. I am careful to take into account each individual dog's signals while on a walk. I try to discourage pulling and keep reactive dogs on a short leash in stressful environments with lots of distractions.

Damen C.
“Damen is an EXCEPTIONAL caregiver. He watched my cat several times over 3 years and each time he has gone above and beyond to give him the best care possible. My cat (Mango), has a variety of medical needs and Damen has always been wonderfully communicative while he watches him, asking questions as needed, and providing updates. There is always anxiety that comes with leaving your animal, but Damen's care and attention to detail makes a world of difference. I always feel safe leaving Mango with Damen. In addition, Damen has assisted in the humane removal of two birds from our apartment building. Both birds were safely removed from the building unharmed, and honestly probably better off than they were before after hanging out with Damen. Having witnessed first hand one of the two removals, Damen has an air to him that animals know they can trust. Whether that be a cat, dog, or wild bird. Damen can handle anything that flys his way, no matter how chaotic.”

Robert P.
“Robert is a serious animal lover! He is so good to every animal he meets. Pets are mysteriously attracted to him and his energy. Robert runs and plays with our dog and they have so much fun. I know our pets are in good hands when Robert is taking care of them.”

Jaden H.
“Jaden has capably and lovingly cared for our pets over multiple years, including dogs from 11 to 65 pounds, cats, chickens, and a hamster. Jaden's love of animals is a defining feature! Jaden shows real interest in understanding and adapting to a pet's emotional, social and physical needs, often noticing concerning changes in pet behavior and health. In recent years we've also trusted Jaden to house sit as well as pet sit. I'd recommend Jaden without reservation to care for pets of all types, for drop in care, walking, trips to the dog park, overnight house sitting, and reliable scheduled visits.”
Altor pet parents share their Rover experiences
It was the first time we were leaving our puppy, Cliff, and it was soon clear that Michaela was the perfect human companion for our boy. She provided regular updates and photos of their walks and playtime during the week. She even reinforced his training program. We came home to a happy puppy. Thank you, Michaela!!!!

Bailey was fantastic with my dogs and my home. I was very anxious about leaving my dogs. Bailey put me at ease and sent me updates throughout my trip. I have a rescued puppy mill momma who is still very cautious around people. Bailey was able to help bring her out of her shell! I’m very happy and grateful to have found Bailey and would recommend him 100%!!

Becca watched our dog for 10 days while we were out of the country. She was great with him, super responsive and made us feel totally at ease the whole time we were away. She sent updates every day and made sure he stayed on his schedule at our house. I would highly recommend Becca and will be using her again in the future!
