About: Current owner of 2 dogs, one of which is a rescue puppy! I’ve been walking dogs since I was 8 years old and have experience in training classes with my own dogs. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors (both dogs and cats!) since I was young and have experience with all shapes and sizes, open to any breed. I am comfortable administering medication if needed. I would love to give your pet all the love and attention possible! ❤️ I’m a college student looking to pet sit part time over the summer! I’ll be free starting May 16 for several weeks until June 23, and will be free again in August. During the dates I’m available I will be free at any time of day and have a very flexible schedule to accommodate you and your pet! Your pet’s safety and happiness is most important to me. I would love to drop in and make sure your pet is fed and loved, and will also be available to take dogs for short or long walks and outdoor time. I hold the most respect for you, your pet, and your home; I’ll respond to any form of communication quickly so please reach out! Looking forward to bonding with your friend 🫶

About: [Please note that I am back in FL for school and therefore currently unavailable, but I will be back for the winter. Thank you for understanding!] I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, whether in my own house or my neighbors’. I’ve become used to both the chaos and peacefulness of pet caretaking, and I’m always ready to learn something new. In terms of dogs, most of my experience has been with small to medium or slightly large dogs, but I’ve spent time with all types and am excited about new experiences. I’ve walked dogs and pet-sat for neighbors as the majority of my paid experience, and I’m looking to expand outside of my neighborhood. As someone who goes to college in another state, I am often in Maryland during the summers and winters, where I have extra love to give to pets (there aren’t many on campus)! While back home for summer or winter vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and love to go walking, which is why dog walking and pet sitting suits me perfectly. My other job is during the school year, so it doesn’t interfere with my summer/winter schedules. That means that I am available most days of the week, and I will try to be as accommodating as possible for my clients. As someone who’s grown up with pets, I regularly help with feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up their litter box or taking them to the bathroom, administering medicine when necessary, along with any other additional care that they need. While working with clients, I write down any specific instructions they have for me and build a consistent routine, especially if I am pet sitting. I understand that different animals have different schedules and needs, so flexibility and safety is my priority.

About: Hi! My name is Katie. I've moved to Westminster, Maryland from Louisiana where I helped run a rescue and have had over a decade of experience with animals of all sorts. I am operations manager for a pet training/boarding facility and looking to make extra income by doing something I love, which is why I've turned to Rover. I would love to share my love for animals with you and help take care of your furbaby/babies! I live in Carroll County. (I do boarding in the owners home frequently through my full time job so I'm experienced and trust worthy) Please allow me to help you and I am flexible. I currently work with animals and am able to care for your dogs needs ❤️ they will be well cared for and loved very much. I am very detail oriented and love to make sure you're dog is as comfortable as can be while with me. Keeping to your dogs regular routines makes all the difference.

About: Hello! I am Camryn F., I am currently a veterinary assistant at Old Farm Veterinary Hospital in Frederick and am in veterinary technician school. I have always loved being around any animal/caring for them! I can commute and I am easy to get ahold of! I am so excited to be helping those in need of a responsible and reliable caretaker. I do have pets in my home, but they are loving and open to meeting new animals as long as the feeling is mutual between the animals as far as drop offs. Although I may only have 4 years of professional experience I have years of personal experience as I have owned various animals throughout my life time! I look forward to getting to know you and your animal and helping you in any way possible! Thank you I do work full time, and a couple days a week I do have long hours. I have every other weekend off as well as Thursdays. Saturday I have a half day and every Sunday is guaranteed off. I also have major Holidays off. I have many pets of my own at home and often find myself feeding them and caring for them before myself most days! Some may call that crazy, but it’s just the way I roll! I love all animals big and small :)

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND….All of the things you want while you are away to relax from your responsibilities with your pets. My high energy girls are entertained, exercised, and pampered until they don’t want me to come home! Feel confident leaving your pet in their care.”

About: I've been taking care of my own pets since I was eight years old. Currently I take care of my bichon and bichon poodle in my home. I have pet sat Maine Coon cats, labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, basset hounds, beagles, and german shepherds. Additionally, I have experience that ranges from puppy care to senior care. I am more than happy to do a phone call or meet in person so we can get to know each other, or stop by to meet the pups before I stay with them :) I'm working part-time right now, so I will have plenty of time for your pets! I am super flexible and don't mind getting up early/leaving late. In your home, I am more than happy to accomodate the routines for your dog and the routines of your household. It's important to me to keep the dogs safe, utilizing baby gates, shutting doors/cabinets, and having fences as needed.

“Kerri has been getting to know Patches prior to house- and dog-sitting for us for a week in June. Kerri is very responsible, very kind, and wonderful with our dog. Patches is a little skittish, particularly with new people, but he has warmed up to Kerri who plays with him, walks him, and pets him (he loves belly rubs). We feel very comfortable leaving him with Kerri.”

“I instantly adored Kelly when I saw her interacting with all my dogs. She handles puppy chewing and grumpy, old dogs with ease and obvious care. She communicates often and keeps me in the loop of what is going on. I have no reservations about leaving Kelly in charge of my pups…. Now I just need to plan a trip.”

My hours are incredibly flexible anytime that your pet needs assistance. About: I have always had dogs of my own and thoroughly enjoy pets. I have worked with several animal rescues to foster dogs of all ages and sizes until they get adopted. I have lots of experience with boarding and drop-in care. I am currently at home full time and can provide around the clock care for your pet! Sometimes out of the house for a few hours at a time to run errands etc. I have a fully fenced in yard to provide safe potty breaks. I will crate pups when not home or for bed if that is their routine. I maintain complete separation from my personal dogs and clients dogs to keep everyone safe.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. My family had many many pets growing up. We had 3 different dogs and 8 different cats. I have had 2 dogs of my own and 2 cats of my own. About a decade ago, I opened a grooming, boarding, and dog walking business. It was amazing and I loved every second of it. Unfortunately, a few years ago my partner in that business and in life at one point passed away unexpectedly. I didn't pursue keeping the business open after that. I ended up working with dogs and going to clients houses throughout the years and I am currently opening another business and I have a groomer that is the co-owner of the business. I have experience training puppies, rescues, and older dogs. I use positive reinforcement, clicker training, food/treat based training, exposure therapy, and multiple other methods. I also make homemade treats for my dogs and my clients that are much better for pets than the overly processed treats that are usually carried in stores. I am currently going to school online and building my pet care business. I have complete control over my schedule right now and have plenty of time for pet care! I live in a home and have a fenced in yard. I always allow potty breaks every 0-2hrs and offer walks every 2-4hrs. I live in a small community that is right across the street from a HUGE field and many paths for dog walks and every client I've had LOVES it! I also have a special bathing setup for animals in my home if their owners would like bathing and/or grooms. I have a grooming table in the house in a special room and a groomer on-call at all times. I have multiple bedrooms, beds, dog beds, crates, couches, and more! Dogs are welcome everywhere but always in the same area as I am and not left alone. Safety is my number one priority! I want every dog's experience with us to be amazing and safe and reliable for the owner. I also am able to send updates and pictures and anything a pet owner/pet parent requests! The wellbeing of the dog is the priority. I also have access to a special location 20 minutes from my house with hiking paths, beaches, and fun environments to bring dogs for special experiences if owner wants that for their pup during their stay with us.
