About: Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions in life. I have over 30 years of experience and have cared for many different animals including horses, bearded dragons, goats, sheep, hamsters, ducks, chickens, fish, snakes, and of course, dogs and cats. I had a little farm in Illinois before I moved to California in 2015. On this farm, I rescued and cared for chickens, kittens, dogs, and goats. About: I've house-sat, dog-sat, and farm-sat since I was a kid, taking care of everything from a pregnant Labrador Retriever to a flock of sheep. Growing up in 4-H I learned a lot about training all kinds of animals, and was awarded High Point in Obedience (for both on leash and off leash) and Best Handler numerous times at our local county fairs' dog shows. Balou is a high-energy breed and very smart so he needs a lot of exercise and constant training. Josh was very attentive to Balou's needs. He was genuinely loving, active, and firm with Balou (and is with any pet really). Josh took him on bike rides, walks, and hikes and awarded Balou with ample play and cuddle time. Josh will do more for your pet than just feed them. He is trustworthy and reliable. And person to person, Josh is awesome!! He has exquisite taste in food, coffee, and beer.
