About: Not only do I have 10 years of experience of pet sitting, I have experience working with shelter dogs. I’ve been with Placer SPCA as a volunteer for many years. I work with fearful, excitable, shy and even reactive dogs on a weekly basis. I make sure to give them the best care I can provide. I have plenty of free time and my shelter schedule is very flexible! I spend most of my time caring for pets or working with animals. I am someone that you can contact last minute for pet sitting! I will make sure that your pet gets all the love, care and attention your best friend could possibly need. I provide mostly overnight care, in which I make sure your pup is cared for in the same way you do every day. Building trust is very important to me, I’ll make sure to send pictures of your dog (or other animals) along with a report of how they are doing and any other info you may need.

About: I got my first dog when I was six, and growing up he was my best friend. I also had lizards, birds, fish, frogs, hamsters, and cats! Ever since then, I have always been passionate about helping dogs and other animals. I've taken care of many dogs and cats over the years of all sizes and ages, and now I want to make this passion my work. My favorite part about taking care of dogs is walking them. I have a Border Collie and know how to handle hyper and active dogs. I have experience taking care of disabled pets as well- I had a small dog that used a wheel chair for years and lived a happy life. All of my friends and family call me first when in need of a pet sitter because they know I'm capable and that I truly care. Whether you need walking, bathing, feeding, or someone to assist with your special needs pet, I have done it all and would love to help! I am available to walk your dog and take care of your pets any day of the week. So send me a message and I will respond quickly! First, I ask pet owners if there are any requirements or concerns to be aware of when I am entering their home to care for their pet. In addition, I always like to know what treats or activities their pets enjoy. For example, during an appointment, I will often greet pets with their favorite treat, check if they need water, take care of any potty or medical needs, and stimulate them with their favorite activity! Before leaving, I make sure I have performed all required tasks requested by the client.

“Jordan was great!! He was patient with our neurotic dog and made sure she had a safe space when she was ready to interact. He followed all the petcare procedures for the dog, cat, and chickens. He watered the plants and left the house clean! We loved the pictures he sent us of the critters and the ongoing communication while we were gone. Definitely recommend him and would use him again!”

“Cydney was amazing! Right away on coming in the dog settled right in to being comfortable with her and calming down from there somebody’s at the door alert. She was both attentive to the request and instruction we left and also shared her knowledge about Dogs as well, understanding even different tendencies of different breeds… Which is really helpful since we had one 80 pound rescue who’s ancestors are guard dogs and 8 pound little dog as well. Our beloved blind indoor kitty, Kip snuck outside 3 weeks prior to our planned vacation. We assumed that he would not survive with the high temperatures, wild animals and lack of food/water. Our first night into our vacation, our neighbors found Kip and dropped him with Dayton. He was not in the best condition, but Dayton cared for him with unconditional love. Calliope our pup isn't a people person, but she quickly felt safe and comfortable in Dayton's care. We were pleasantly surprised that Calliope made a human friend. Dayton is great communicator and keep us informed about the well-being and fun times of our pets. She sent lots of cute photos that made me so happy! We booked a meeting and a quiet walk for Spud and Dillon's first short outdoor visit. Gotta say, Dillon had Spud eating out of her hand in no time!
