About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

He is the one who she will be caring for on future visits so she has been given him time to decide if he likes her. I have always had dogs and believe they are truly man’s best friend. I currently have 1 small dog, he is an 8 year old shih tzu. I do not leave my dogs unattended while outside, so I can guarantee that I will always have eyes on your dog when outside.

About: I grew up on a large family farm with all kinds of animals. We recently had two senior Shih Tzu's that each had their own special needs. After the loss, we are ready to open our home to new pups! We love all dogs and animals of all kinds. Our property is a large 3 acres. Our large backyard is fenced. We enjoy hiking and long walks. My husband works from home so there's someone always here for potty breaks, snuggles and treats. We do have one friendly, easygoing cat. Your dog must be comfortable around cats. I am usually at work at 10 am and home by 5:30 pm. Our cat is self-sufficient and has his own bathroom space with his automatic food feeder and litter box. About: Hi, we are Molly, Massimo and Zali. We've had dogs in our families and had taken care of pets of all kinds since we were kids. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on us to walk, feed and care for their pets of all shapes & sizes. We use positive reinforcement for training and pride ourselves on having trained Zali & other dogs basic commands, to walk both on & off leash, plus some fun party tricks. Our favorite “trick” is to ring a bell to go outside. On rainy days, we play hide & seek games with toys & treats around the house to make sure we’re all still getting plenty of stimulation. Deleting on what the dog is accustomed to i use Leashes and slip leads , Ecollars, prong collars whatever the client wants and what works best to get the dogs and clients needs met. Can take the dog out by the house or out to a lake for swimming and ball throwing. I am very aware of my environment to keep the dog safe from others and feel a private area is best for dogs while under my care. I have a even tempered 2 year old playful dogs as well that may join the adventure once I feel comfortable with your dogs and them knowing me.

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! Same-day booking is available and I’m typically available during holidays except Christmas. Currently I cannot stay overnight but can sit all day at your home multiple days in a row (I just need to go home to sleep). I provide undivided attention to pets and specialized care according to your instructions. My own dog is small, calm, and well-behaved so he is not to worry about when interacting with your pet in my home during doggy daycare. The other dog I live with barks upon first meeting but otherwise does not act out. For day care: The house is large as is the backyard with plenty of room to run around. There is no fence but neither backyards flanking ours have dogs, if that is a concern. My family has no qualms about dogs on furniture so if your baby is a couch potato he/she is more than welcome. I do ask you bring your own leashes, food bowls, and food for your dog for day care. For sitting you can trust me to be prudent, responsible, caring, and dedicated to your pet's wellbeing, as well as respectful of your home's interior and exterior. I can bathe short-hair and medium-hair dogs up to 30 lbs as long as you have a detachable shower wand and your dog is not allergic to the chemicals in dog shampoo. Pricing depends on the size of your dog and extent of services requested. ≤10lbs = $10; >10lbs = $1 per pound (15lbs = $15 and so on).

About: I have been pet sitting for friends/neighbors since I was 12 years old. I grew up on a farm & raised dogs and kittens. This naturally led to a love of animals-- my first job was at a vet hospital where I stayed for several years & trained to become a vet tech. In this role, I also house & pet sat for clients. Please let your pets keep me company! I have plenty of time on my hands for pet sitting & dog walking. I am a dog mom to a tenderhearted 9 year old golden cocker, and 8 year old orange tabby. I am trained in medication administration (oral and subcutaneous) and first aid. At this time I am unable to host your pet in my home. But I can do daytime drop in visits and walks at your home. I cannot do overnight at this time. Local requests only please. I have a flexible schedule to fit your pets' needs. I can design my day around needing to arrive at your home for specific feeding or walk times as needed. I can come to your home for pet sitting and/or dog walking services. When I walk with a dog, they are always on leash. When I watch your pets, I am here to attend to their needs and your requests. I am very attuned to animals’ needs and how they communicate. I love to curl up on the couch and snuggle your fur baby if that’s what they want. I’m also just as happy to get on the floor to play with your pet, whether that’s with their toys, laser pointer, etc.

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.
About: I love being with all animals and especially older and disabled animals. I have my experience from working in Animal Shelters for about 2 years, doggie daycares, pet crematories and also petsitting for different companies and myself over 25 yrs. About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff.
