“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. About: I love dogs, and I have experience in owning large and small dogs. Right now, I have one mini dachshund who loves having friends. My job and schedule are also very flexible. I currently work full-time with a mix of working from home and in the office, but my office is 5 minutes from my house, and my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced yard, one mini dachshund who loves to play and relax, and I allow dogs on the furniture. My dog and I go on frequent walks, depending on the weather, if backyard play isn't enough for your dog.

About: Hello! My name is Erin and I am a 23 year old here in Wichita. I have been around all sorts of animals my whole life! My family has had several dogs and cats and I have always been the one to care for them! Whether they are puppies/kittens who need trained or older dogs/cats who need cared for I have done it and love doing it! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to make time when needed! I have several available time slots in my day to tend to new responsibilities as needed. I have two dogs, a Great Pyrenees and an Australian Shepherd. Both are very high energy as they are still pretty young. I’ve taught them everything they know from sitting and shaking to walking good on a leash and catching a ball in the air and doing fun tricks. I’ve taught both animals to be gentle and loving to all living things from children to other animals. I have also always had cats throughout my life, and can give them lots of needed attention.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets ever since I was a young girl. My parents would often foster kittens to which I would help and learn. When I was 11 and moved to Florida, I started to connect with my neighbors and created relationships where they trusted me enough to care for their pets and stay in their home. With experience in both dog and cat care, elderly and young, I’ve learned how to give medicine, understand what they need, and how to love them unconditionally. As a mom of two cat babes, I understand the need for a loving presence when you cannot be there for your own animals and would love to be able to be that for anyone else. I am not one to restrict where pets can and cannot go since this is their first time living as well and are curious creatures. If I have a dog with me, then I try to be where they are, providing supervision and company.
