About: Hi! I’ve been a dog owner/lover through most of my life. I grew up with our family dog, Billie, who has since passed, but I’ve continued to enthusiastically offer to take care of friends’ pups in order to still get those precious cuddles in. I also previously worked for a dog walking/sitting company in Boston for several months before moving to SLC, so I'm experienced with handling multiple dogs at once on a walk if you have more than one pup. A couple of years ago, I spent several months full-time traveling, and utilized Trusted Housesitters. It was a great experience, and I got to care for many dogs and cats all over the US! Lastly, I like to stay active and go on lots of hikes or runs which I’d love to do with your pup(s) if you feel comfortable with it! I am working hybridly and taking classes part time, which means I will need to be away from your pet about 4-8 hrs each day. I'll be sure to fit in their exercise routines around my schedule of course! My care for your pet will depend upon what you request as the owner. As someone who likes to plan ahead, especially for overnight sits, I will make sure to get detailed instructions from you on how to care for your pet and hopefully meet your dog beforehand so they can be comfortable around me.
“Evan is an amazing walker, my babies were hOoy to walk with him and they made the right amount of excersice. I will recommend him if you want quality and caring for your pups.”

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for my own pets as well as providing pet sitting and home sitting for multiple families. I have cared for multiple types of animals, including dogs, cats, bunnies and birds. I grew up around animals and learned from a young age how to understand them and meet their needs. I work from my computer, which allows me to stay at the homes of the pets I care for and look after them as if they were my own, spending a lot of time providing companionship, attention, care, cuddles and love! I’ve always loved animals of all kinds and truly enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I rescued my dog Polo, a sweet mixed-breed pup, and he taught me so much about love, patience, and trust. I’m very good at connecting with animals and earning their trust quickly. My schedule is very flexible because I work from my computer, which allows me to spend a lot of time with the pets I care for and look after them as if they were my own. I love animals, so I'm always happy to adapt my day to their routines, making sure they receive the attention, care, love, playtime, and cuddles they need. I choose to house sit and pet sit because animals bring me joy, balance, and inspiration. As someone who works remotely, this lifestyle allows me to stay with pets most of the time, keep their routines consistent, and give them companionship throughout the day. I’m very responsible and caring, and I always make sure each home and each pet is treated with respect, safety, and love.
About: I have had pets my entire life, both large and small breeds...dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, hamsters, lizards, and fish. I offer pet care services in Salt Lake valley and Southern Utah. I can travel for extended stay bookings. MORE About me: I grew up in Utah with a beautiful Irish Setter named Sunny. He was my BFF from childhood to teens. As an adult, I have had many pets! I adored my buddy, Cruzer, the cutest Shih Tzu ever, he was such a good friend for 12 years. I also had the coolest cat, a Maine Coone named Rio, he was with me for 17 years! Everyone loved Rio! 💗After that I adopted an older pug named Lou, and a lost trail kitty named GrizzaBella, short for GrizzaB. RIP. I miss each of them dearly❣️ I recently divorced so now it’s just me and my BFF Nala, Pomchi. She is the most lovable, cuddly pet ever. I have 15+ years professional experience pet sitting, house sitting & housekeeping. I also worked for a B&B for several years and was responsible for managing bookings, cleaning all rooms and pet care for her 3 dogs, multiple birds and Koi pond. I would love to schedule a MEET& GREET so we can see if I am the ‘perfect friend’ to care for your pet while you are away on vacation or business. I can guarantee you peace of mind, as you will know that your furry family member is being loved and and cared for in your absence. I have a very flexible schedule... reach out for more info. I have daytime availability as I am a semi-retired and also a happy homemaker with lots of free time to love and care for your furry friend(s) as well as my own. I have a fenced yard for playing ball ⚽️ with my dog, Nala. She would play fetch all day if she could! After playing it’s treat time, then cuddles.
About: I have three dogs of my own, two Aussie mixes and one Yorkie mix, so I’m very used to lots of energy and personality. I used to train my oldest dog in agility and loved it, and I’ve been the go‑to dog sitter for my aunt’s friends, family and neighbors. I also worked at a doggy daycare and absolutely adored all the pups there. Dogs are honestly my safe place; I feel happiest and most myself when I’m around them. I love taking them on hikes, neighborhood walks, lake days, and playing fetch, and I always make sure they get plenty of outside time and attention. I treat every dog like my own and want you to feel totally comfortable trusting me with your best friend. I’ve taken care of all kinds of pups, from tiny puppies and seniors to a sweet three‑legged dog, so I’m used to different needs and energy levels. I’m working Monday–Friday, 8–3, from May 5th to June 25th, and then I’m free any time during the week. I can do walks, drop-ins, and house sitting around my work schedule now, and I’m wide open all day on Saturdays and Sundays. We always go to a park or around the neighborhood for walks and playtime. I care for pets in my clients’ homes by sticking to their normal routine and following all instructions for walks, feeding, and meds. I make sure they have fresh water, a clean area, lots of attention, and I send updates and photos. I also treat my clients’ homes with respect and always lock up and tidy before I leave.

About: ☀️ DAYTIME ONLY • NO OVERNIGHTS ☀️ I specialize in focused daytime companionship blocks, drop-ins, and walks. I don’t offer overnights or boarding, which means your pet gets 100% of my energy during the day, and I get to head home to my own pack at night! 🐾 I provide way more than basic pet sitting—I’m all about companionship, routine, and real peace of mind. My Favorites & Specialties: The Sweet Seniors: Older pups are my jam! I’m great with slower strolls, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and extra comfort care. Daytime Companionship Blocks: Need someone to hang out with your anxious pup or senior pet for 2 to 4 hours while you run errands or head to lunch? I’m your person! Patience & Calm Energy: I love building trust with dogs who need an extra-patient, calm human presence to feel safe. With a background in customer service and caregiving, I’m ultra-dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented. Whether your pet needs a high-energy outdoor adventure or just a cozy daytime hang, I tailor every visit to their exact vibe. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and being active. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets attention, consistency, companionship, exercise, and personalized care throughout the day. I enjoy creating, fun, positive experiences for pets whether that means walks, playtime, relaxing companionship, check-ins, enrichment activities, or simply helping them stick to their normal routine while their owners are away or busy. I also love to go on hikes close by and running those really active pups. I treat every pet like an individual and make time to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. A typical day with me is calm, flexible, and tailored to your pet’s personality and energy level. Some pets want adventure, enrichment, and outdoor time, while others are happiest with companionship, routine, cuddles, and a relaxed environment. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping owners updated with communication and photos. Depending on your pet’s needs, visits can include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, feeding, medication support, potty breaks, relaxing companionship, or outings for extra stimulation and exercise. I’m especially patient with shy pets, seniors, and animals who need extra reassurance or consistency. I believe pets do best when they feel understood instead of rushed or stressed. My goal is simple: happy pets, peace of mind for owners, and care that feels personal instead of one-size-fits-all.
“Audrey did a great job! She's great with the pups and a problem solver! She managed our 1 year old unaltered (yet) male standard poodle and worked her way through first day issues with keys, garage doors etc. Absolutely would book again. Thanks Audrey!”

About: I have 10+ years of experience taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and birds. I took a few college courses that were 2 years long to learn about animal care. I also worked at a reptile education center where I took care of the animals and educated people about them. I love animals of all kinds and would love to watch your pet! Right now I work part-time, so I have lots of time in the day to watch and play with your pet. I do have a cat at home so I do have to go check on him every 3-4 hours! I will follow your schedule to a T to make sure your pet doesn’t skip out on their daily routine. I have experience taking care of even shy animals so I have lots of patience and am willing to let them take their time to adjust to me. I am ok going on walks in neighborhoods and parks as well as playing with your pet in such areas.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, when I started my own neighborhood dog-walking business. Since then, friends, family, neighbors, and referrals have trusted me with their pets, and spending time with animals continues to be one of my greatest joys. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s helping a puppy stay on track with crate training and routines, keeping an energetic dog active and engaged, or providing gentle, patient care for a senior dog, I tailor my approach to each pet’s unique needs. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog as an individual. I understand that some dogs want long walks and adventures, while others are happiest relaxing at home with plenty of affection and companionship. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive. You can trust that your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and personalized care throughout their stay. I’m currently working remotely Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule and will have plenty of time to prioritize walks and playtime depending on your dogs needs! Because I primarily offer house sitting and drop-in visits, my goal is to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine in the environment they know best. I take time to learn each pet’s schedule, preferences, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions before care begins. During house sits and drop-ins, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, enrichment, and companionship while ensuring pets feel safe and secure. I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages so they can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own and prioritize safety at all times, including secure leashing, monitoring pets outdoors, following household rules, and keeping a close eye on any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by providing reliable, loving, and attentive care.
“Diane had excellent communication throughout the booking and made sure to give plenty of updates and pictures of my pups. My dogs were very well taken care of and I was completely at ease having Diane over their care! Highly recommended and will be booking again when the needs arise! Thank you!!!”

I worked with a trainer to develop my husky into an offleash dog and happy to share training knowledge with other owners! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
