About: Hello my name is Kaylin, I am from Ohio and grew up around animals, especially dogs/cats. Nextdoor was a Veterinary hospital where I sought out volunteering in the interest of helping animals. As a child, I imagined I would work with animals in some way. When I was 6 years old, I decided to brush our Jack Russel Terrier’s teeth with a toothbrush! I have always treated our pets as family members. After graduating high school, I moved to Northern California for 11 years where I attended a junior college and started working with Rover. In 2017, I received a pet grooming certification after a 9 week advanced course from The West Coast Grooming Academy in Pasadena, CA. I have taken dog walking/training courses while also volunteering for a local animal rescue foundation! We recently moved here to Sebring and I am excited to be offering my services here. Independently I have gained work as a mobile pet groomer and have previously been employed at a Petco grooming salon. Because of my love for animals, I assure you any pets in my care will have a positive experience. Thank you in advance for reviewing my profile and I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 I am available anytime of the week to care for your pet/pets as I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to do walks, drop ins dog boarding and house sitting. I love making time to care for pets. I will provide exactly what your fur baby needs including any special requests and make sure they are happy and comfortable. I can provide daily walks if you would like that for your pet as well.
“Raquel was so great with my pup! He tends to get anxious when at a new place and I could tell he felt comfortable. She sent me a picture of him wrapped up in a blanket and he was a happy pup upon my return. This is my first time leaving him outside of family, and I felt at ease with Raquel! :)”
About: I have been taking care of most of my friends dogs including my own for several years. I have also raised a teenage daughter and now have plenty of time working from home for the care of pets regularly. I have plenty of space, no carpets and have a very open schedule dedicated to the care of the dogs I take in! I work from home and have been watching pets for several years. I have a 1.8lb 13 year old chihuahua that does is elderly now so will not effect any other animals. She is used to several dogs being around her and we have plenty of free time to be inattentive and keep a safe environment. I love in a building with a very large dark park and a massive one just up the road I can take them to! I’m not quite ready to add another dog to my family because my current little one is older so I like to take other dogs to watch to get a feel for different breeds and enjoy the activities I can’t with her. I have no carpet in my place and have a pretty easy availability to fit a schedule just let me know!
About: Our family loves pets. My wife and I have had our experiences from birds to horses. We have always had a special place for our cats and dogs who went with us to care for other animals. We felt they were always great representations of what love and comfort we had to share with both our indoor and outdoor pets. When your family member needs to be watched over, give them that real rural experience. Both dogs and cats will have a great time observing animals on the ranch from a fenced in area. Better yet, we hope the surroundings have you wishing it were you staying instead of your beloved fur friend. I am private tutor/day trader that works from home. I have my set scheduled office hours that will not intervene with my daily pet care and weekly routines. I currently have 2 cats and senior dog residing in our home. We also have 200 chickens, hoping for 400 by 2023. Our facility is our home. Your pets are our family. We want nothing more to give them a good country experience within a safely fenced and gated environment. They will not be where live livestock are roaming freely, but they will get to walk along a fenced road where they can be seen. Pets also have a fenced in backyard that lets them observe the chicken pens. There they can entertain themselves with the hilarious antics from our poultry.
“Melinda is great! Charlie had a doggie day with her in preparation for an upcoming longer stay. I love she sends me pictures of my Charlie! Looking forward to having Charlie stay again!”

“Marie was wonderful. She has great set up for her guests and made mine feel really loved. I would recommend Marie wholeheartedly to anyone needing care for their fur babies.”

About: Me and my husband have taken care of dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 5 years. I have also worked at a vet clinic as a vet assistant and loved my time working there many friends and familys have relied on me to walk, feed and care for their pets while they’re away. We also have two dogs of my own—a Rottweiler and a Pit mix—so I’m very comfortable handling large breeds and high-energy dogs. We have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and pets with special routines, and we always prioritize safety, patience, and love. I treat every pet as if they were our own. We currently available Monday - Friday after 5pm and all days on weekdays for walks, drop-ins, and morning and evening care. We’re so happy to help! Safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have experience caring for dogs in both my home and clients’ homes, and we always follow each pet’s routine closely. One of my own dogs has severe anxiety, so we very patient and attentive when it comes to helping dogs feel calm, safe, and comfortable. We take time to build trust, use positive reinforcement, and provide a quiet, loving environment tailored to each pet’s needs.
“Tony and his family were great! Archie had a wonderful time hanging out for the day. Location is very convenient for legoland. Would definitely reach out again if we are in the area. Thanks tony!”

About: Growing up I cared for many pets and always wanted to be a veterinarian. Now that my children are older I can finally care for more pets again. This is another way I can do that and help some families out as well! I would love to be there person your family can rely on to help care for your fur babies while you’re away! I live right next to a park and would love to go for walks, play in my large fenced in back yard, or play in the park. I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours 🥰 Currently a stay a home mom I feel like this would be perfect for me and my kids. I would love to use these times as an opportunity to also show them how to care for and be responsible for when it comes to having their own pets. My yard is completely fenced in, and there is plenty of space for your fur baby to run free, outside and inside, and still be safe and secure!

About: I’ve spent nearly two decades around dogs — from working in pet resorts and vet offices, where I trained dogs and their owners using structured obedience, clear communication, and mutual respect. My background in working with dogs shaped a disciplined, no-nonsense approach that builds real trust between dogs and their people. Whether it’s a rowdy puppy or a dog with serious behavioral issues, I focus on building lasting confidence, not quick fixes. My schedule leaves solid blocks of time for pet care throughout the week, and I’m currently building out a dedicated training and kennel space at home. I’m available for boarding and daycare on weekends and weekday evenings, with flexibility for drop-offs, check-ins, and training sessions throughout the day I live on an acre of land near a reservoir, with a fenced area and a dedicated kennel and training space being built out inside my home. I own three well-socialized dogs of my own who are comfortable around visiting pups, so your dog will have company. I use crates when appropriate and closely supervise every interaction to keep all the dogs safe and comfortable.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Alpine commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
