“Sean is great with my big Lab boys! He is very reliable and caring, I trust that he will be proactively on the lookout to take the best care. For example, using sense in the heat and preventing them from getting things they shouldn’t have.”

“It’s always good to count with someone who is punctual and above all that takes a great care of my dog! If there were 10 stars I would give him 15. Great and reliable service and he absolutely love animals.”

About: I would love to care for your fur baby! I was a veterinary assistant for 3 years and have also had more long term “dog nanny” jobs as well. I have dealt with any kind of dog you could think of. I recently had a blind, elderly chihuahua and adopted my pup at 10 weeks old so I’m used to old and young babies. I can administer medications and can cater to most special needs any pet has. I also have my own pet sitters insurance. Feel free to reach out to ask about any accommodations your pet might need or if you feel unsure about anything, I’m always happy to answer questions and go the extra mile to make sure your pets feel safe and loved. :) I recently decided to pet sit full time! Most of my jobs have revolved around animals so it made the most sense. I am home 24/7 unless I have a quick errand to run. If it’s a nice day or we all have jackets we usually walk to the park near my house and play fetch (I have 30 foot leashes) or just sniff around for a while. I always bring a treat pouch to keep their focus and reward good behavior! At night we usually eat our dinner, have our last potty and all cuddle up on the couch until bed time. Prices are negotiable depending on the specific hours I’m needed for overnights/house sitting (if I’m just popping in and out during the day and staying the night, or I’m needed 24/7). My #1 priority is making sure your pup is as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions for meal time or walks if it makes your dog feel safer and happier with me. I’m respectful of clients homes and leave things exactly the way I found them unless you need some light cleaning help. And of course I don’t mind if you have cameras in your home. Boarding includes up to 3 walks a day (with or without my pup), as much outdoor time as weather allows in a 16x16 play pen (completely supervised), all feedings, oral/topical medication administration, daily updates with pictures and unlimited cuddles and play time with my pup and I. There is a crate in my home if your dog is crate trained and prefers it, but it is never used unless an owner requests it. For walks I am happy to go the route your dog normally goes or do a short drive to a nearby park. As an extra precaution, for larger dogs, I bring an extra slip leash to use over your dogs collar to prevent them from getting loose if the collar unbuckles or slips off. I treat every dog that I take care of like my own.

About: I have worked at the pet shop in town for almost 4 years. I have learned a lot about nutrition and am here to help with that as well. I have always loved dogs & animals. I have 3 dogs now and use to have cats growing up. I have always helped family/ friends with their pets. My cousins would call me “ the dog whisperer” I am very patient and understanding- a dog sometimes is anxious just like us humans. I think taking time out of the day and using interactive toys is so important for stimulation and keeping them busy. I usually am off on sunday & tuesdays. I typically work in the morning until 3pm. Can do walks/feed them/ check in’s on the dogs after work and most likely before work. I have lots of grass outside & a gate inside.I would play with them outside, make sure they have a harness and a longer line ( so they are safe)& take them for walks. I can brush the dogs as well. I do prefer to stop at the clients house. I have 2 dogs at my house - it can be a lot. In the clients house I would first make sure the dog goes outside to the bathroom upon arrival. I would take them for a walk, play with the dogs outside( depending on the gate situation) Make sure they have lots of water, food & i can brush them.

About: Aside from having a minimum of 2 dogs in my house my whole life, I became a dog foster for a shelter near my school for 3 years. With that came valued experience with various breeds and very different personality types. I am patient with nervous dogs and try to make them the most comfortable I can and can also meet the energy level of very hyper and playful pups. From fostering I found my sweet Maisy, who I was lucky enough to love for 7 years and gave me more joy than I could have imagined. I am comfortable with multiple dogs at once as well, as I mentioned before I am used to always having at least two in the family but the more the merrier! My availability can fluctuate week to week but I will always try my best to work with whatever availability needed by you. I would love the opportunity to help you out with your four legged family members! I am currently pursuing a Masters degree and do other remote work so my schedule/availability is always changing however, still usually very flexible and am willing to work around your needs. I try to care for your animals in the same way and with as much love as you do! Their happiness and safety are my top priority.

About: Growing up with dogs has given me a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. After our beloved family dog passed away, I channeled my love for dogs into caring for others in my neighborhood, providing both walking and boarding services. I recently left the day care industry to focus on my health. Therefore, I'm available all days and evenings for afternoon walks or to provide boarding when you're on vacations. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment that is tailored to you and your pet's needs and routine. I enjoy play time and taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood.

Andrea A.
“Andrea has been a long time personal pet sitter for me and I'm exhilarated to hear that she's expanding her time and energy for more pet parents in need of a sitter. She has always been passionate for as long as I've known her. She also previously worked in a vet clinic, meaning not only is she experienced in pet sitting but she is also knowledgeable with any extra/ special care that would be needed for our fur babies. She's even given me advice in the past with my own cat and dog that has helped me understand my pets better! Andrea has always cared and valued animals in a way that leaves a great impression and safety for my animals.”

Terri M.
“As a request from Terri to write a testimonial for a position with your ROVER team here is mine. Besides being an awesome people parent, Terri has always been involved with a variety of animals who were not lacking for love and companionship. In all of the years that we have known each other, she has cared for cats and dogs from kittens and puppies to the rainbow bridge. Some were also rescue dogs who were beyond happy to have someone who truly loved them. I have no doubt in my mind that anyone who is lucky enough to have her care for their "furbabies" would be pleased that she offered companionship to them while they were away or just being able to allow them (the furbabies) to "take care of business" while their owners are at work. Terri is hardworking, honest and dependable and I'm certain that she is a person that would fill this position 100%. Sincerely, Lana Bescript”

Melissa G.
“Several years ago a friend of mine introduced me to Melissa. I had been really frustrated and dissatisfied with a number of dog walkers I had hired. The minute I met her I knew that she would be the right person to take care of my dogs. My dogs knew it too. They were Immediately drawn to her and she was amazing with both of them. Melissa is calm, kind, flexible, trustworthy and really has a special gift when it comes to animals. If you’re lucky enough to hire her you will not be disappointed. My dogs love her, and you will too! I would highly recommend her to anyone and she is the only one that I have ever felt comfortable enough with to take care of my dogs!”

Heather L.
