She is amazing. It was a very last minute dog walk and she was more then willing to help out. My dog was able to pee and poo and let out some energy. She was understanding of some confusing things and helped out with supplying some fresh water to my dog. I am definitely rebooking her again!

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life—dogs, cats, and everything in between—so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I currently have a 4-year-old chocolate lab named Stokely Mae, and she's truly my best friend. I’ve raised her since she was just 7 weeks old and trained her every step of the way—from basic commands to leash manners and socializing with other animals. Every day, I manage a household with four large dogs (three Labs and one Husky), each with their own personalities and needs. I handle their feeding schedules (three times a day), including different portions and diets, with consistency and care. Whether it's high-energy playtime, calm walks, or gentle attention for older dogs, I adapt to meet each pet’s unique needs. I treat every animal like family and always aim to create a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and happy. I'm a teacher, so my summer schedule is wide open—perfect for giving your pets the attention they deserve! During the school year, I’m available for weekend care and occasional evenings. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and I love being able to spend my free time with animals. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or drop-in visits, I can be flexible and reliable when you need a helping hand. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine and needs—whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, managing medications, or providing a calm, secure environment. I take the time to earn each pet’s trust with patience, gentle handling, and lots of positive reinforcement. In your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I make sure your pet feels safe and loved while keeping their surroundings tidy and stress-free. I’m always happy to provide updates and photos, so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve grown up having dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, Guinea Pigs, and birds. As I got older I was fortunate enough to move to the country where I also got to have horses, chickens, and goats. We even had a pet pig! I’ve cared for family and friends’ pets my whole life because they see the passion I have for animals. My dogs have all lived long healthy lives because of the love and care I provide. We currently have two Goldendoodles, who are littermate sisters. We obtained our girls after we lost all 3 of our senior dogs within a year. Our hearts were broken and we knew our home needed dogs running around. We got them at 13 weeks old and had them trained to go out in less than a week. By the next week they knew to ring the bells to go out. We had them crate trained after 3 nights and the only time there was an accident in the crate was when they had an upset stomach. We only used the crates for when we were going to be out and at night. This kept them safe from home hazards. They both loved their crates as it was their safe space. They have both outgrown their crates and sleep in the room with us. They are 2 years old and completely spoiled! If you select me to care for your baby, he/she will get all the love and cuddles the can handle. I am retired but I still have so much energy and what better way to spend my time than playing with animals. I’m available 7 days a week to care for your pets. Currently I am not keeping fur babies in my home due to lack of fencing. Once we fence in our yard I will offer in home care.

Lucy was great! She came over to meet my dogs before the day she would be coming to pet sit. One of my dogs has been known to be afraid of strangers when we're not home. She was able to give both of my dogs potty breaks and she updated me when she was finished at my house. 5 stars!!

About: I have had animals my entire life, I currently have 3 dogs and a cat of my own. I have small and extra large dogs so I know the care that each size group requires. All of my pet owning friends come to me for medical and training advice. I am also always the first person they come to when they need someone to take care of their beloved pets. I can follow strict regimens regarding food, brushing, bathing, medicine etc. My availability is for weekends only, as I do have a full time position as a Teacher Assistant. I get off work at 12:30 pm every Friday and have every Saturday and Sunday off. My partner works for the Women’s Basketball team at the University of Tennessee and I often take care of their dogs for trips. I know I can easily fit in a few more fur babies to make someone else’s life easier! I have a reliable vehicle to take me to and from your house, as well as a love for exercise for walking your dogs! You and your animals experience with a walker/sitter is my top priority. I understand the fear of being unable to find someone trustworthy to watch your pets, having some of my own. I have a large fenced in yard and still make time to take all 3 dogs on walks to give them the exercise and stimulation they need to be happy.

About: (PSA - I’m getting married! 😅 In December, I’ll be closing my account here to focus on being a wife and pursuing my writing/marketing career. If you already have my number and don’t mind a married couple watching your pets, we will be more than happy to serve you if our schedule allows! The below agreement will still apply, of course; there’s just a second set of hands. 🥰) Home/Pet Owner Satisfaction Agreement: - My personal motto is "Leave it better than you found it." - Your home will be taken care as if it was my own. - I will do light cleaning and even landscaping if needed, so your home stays well kept. - Your pets will receive the attention they deserve. - I will do my absolute best to make sure their daily routine stays the same as if you were home. - I will send you all the pictures and updates, so you can have peace of mind that your pets are happy, safe, and well taken care of. - If you ask me to do something, it will get done. - When you return home, you'll be able to rest immediately because your home will be clean and your pets happy (though definitely excited to see you again!). I always don't trust people easily, and I usually rely on myself a lot to get things done. So it'd be scary for me to have a stranger taking care of my home and pets. I'd worry constantly over my furry family. That's why I try to immediately put you at ease during our initial conversation and respect your home and pet(s). I grew up with pets (hence the 20 years of experience), so I am definitely an animal lover. I've also house/pet sit here on Rover and by word-of-mouth referrals for two years now and already have 30 reviews of pleased home and pet owners. After reading the reviews on my profile and browsing the photo gallery (Get ready for cuteness overload and not from me!), here's how you can work with me: 1. Send me a message. 2. In that message, tell me about your pets, their needs, and what dates you'll be gone. 3. We'll adjust the pricing if needed. 4. Before finalizing the booking, I will meet you and your pet(s) in your home for you to walk me through the daily routine and see if we're a good fit. 5. If both parties agree, we confirm the booking. It's that easy! Thank you so much in advance for trusting me with your home and pet(s)! In return, I will strive to take the best care of your home and pet(s). So that you won't loose any sleep worrying if they're okay or not. That way, you can actually enjoy your vacation or fully focus on business and/or family while you're gone. I work remotely full time as a writer, freelance marketer, and conscious marketing coach, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m completely available any day for whatever you need and will be able to give your home and pet(s) the attention they deserve. I will follow whatever instructions you give to a t. As a creative person, my brain can be scattered, but having instructions in a text or list help a ton. That way, you have utmost peace of mind that your home and pet(s) are receiving the best care!

About: I have been around animals my entire life! There was never a time I didn’t have a let of some kind. I was always helping neighbors and family members with their animals. I have worked at dog training facilities where we also had doggy daycare. I’ve worked many years at vet offices as well. Therefore my experience with pets with medical needs gives me the knowledge of taking care of your fur baby who may need a little extra attention. A little bit about my day to day schedule so you have a heads up: Mondays I am off work, T-Th 8-5 and Fridays 7:30-3. My husband gets home before me most days so sometimes he is able to help out with potty breaks therefore it is very important that your pet be ok with men. I have a large unfenced yard where your babies can enjoy running while attached to a long leash. They will get to roam around in the home as long as they are potty trained and dog friendly, as I have a dog that loves to meet new friends. I have a room that is a dedicated dog room where crates are kept for the dogs to be safely while I am away. YOUR PET MUST BE CRATE TRAINED! Please bring a crate for each dog you are boarding with me unless prior arrangements have been made!

About: My first ever job in high school was working for a doggy daycare, training, and grooming facility. This is where my love for animals of every kind bloomed, and i personally have a horse, two dogs, and a cat at my home away from college that I miss very much. At my knoxville home I adore taking my friend's dogs hiking and to the dog park to fulfill that itch of spending time with furry friends. I am a student doing rover part time during the summer and I volunteer at a hospital in town on Monday every week for two hours and an animal shelter with kitties for two hours every Thursday evening. I am very meticulous about maintaining the perfect care for my pets and yours. I understand how important these members of the family are, and I do very well when given a specific list. My love for the outdoors and hiking specifically complement the energetic pups, but I am just as happy to relax at home to study or read.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs, neighbors dogs, and friends dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I am always all of their first calls when they need some last minute walks, feedings, or overnight sittings. I am an independent contractor so I set my own schedule outside of dog walking so I am always pretty available. I am also a college athlete so my schedule can be fairly hectic during the day, but my evenings are always wide open for lots of attention and play time When caring for your dog in your home, I will make sure to follow all instructions you have left me and ensure I contact you if I have any questions that could put your dogs safety at risk. I want to ensure their owner has peace of mind that they’re fur baby is being well taken care of. I am a college student and a student athlete so mornings/afternoons can be a little hectic. I am still able to provide some play time and attention with that. However, my evening are always wide open to provide even extra attention and play time for the dogs. I always make sure to keep them a priority in my schedule either way! I want to make sure to follow the dog’s normal routine to put them in as much ease as possible. Being left with a stranger can sometimes be stressful, but I will be sure to try and ease that for them.

About: 5+ years of experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and caring for cats and dogs of all sizes and personalities. I provide reliable, loving care — whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just relaxing with your pets. After going through chemotherapy, I’ve grown even closer to my own pets — they’ve been attached to my hip these past 8 months and have brought me so much comfort. I hope to offer that same sense of safety, love, and security to your pets while you’re away. 🐾 I recently finished chemotherapy and am using this time to focus on healing and getting back on my feet. Because of that, I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for pet sitting and drop-ins — other than a few doctor appointments here and there. I’m happy to work with you to schedule visits that fit your needs! 🐾 🏡 1️⃣ Respect the Home Always enter/leave carefully — lock doors, follow instructions. Keep the home tidy: clean up any pet messes, wipe paws, don’t leave supplies out. Follow any house rules (off-limits areas, couch use, etc). 🐕🐈 2️⃣ Meet Pet’s Basic Needs Feed and provide fresh water exactly as instructed. Clean litter boxes (cats) or yard/pads (dogs) each visit. Check that pets are safe and comfortable (temperature, bedding, toys). 🎾 3️⃣ Exercise & Enrichment Walk dogs according to client’s request (time, distance, leash style). Play with cats and dogs to keep them stimulated and happy. Rotate toys if needed; give love and attention. 💊 4️⃣ Medication (if needed) Only administer meds if client provided clear written instructions. Note the time given and report to owner after. 📸 5️⃣ Communicate With Client Send photo/video updates each visit. Let them know how their pet is doing (eating, behavior, any concerns). Ask questions if anything seems off — better to check than guess. 🧹 6️⃣ Before You Leave Check doors/windows are locked. Check that pet has access to food/water and safe areas. Tidy up any supplies you used. Send final update to client.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I got my first dog at age 8! I’ve cared for my own as well as family and friends. I think of them as true family members. I have experience giving dogs injections/medications. I’ll also be available to play, feed, walk, take outside, and of course give all the treaties :) I’m an RN! I spend most of my off time with my dogs or other dogs <3 my husband also is home most days while in school and helps me with the dogs while I’m away. We’re a team! I have a fenced in backyard. It is rather small but allows our little corgi to freely roam off the leash. We have a little patio back there and often when it’s warm will sit outside and play with the dog. We allow our dog to be out and about in the home provided she is clean. She sleeps with us in the bed. We allow other dogs to stay out in the home to sleep if that is preferred and they are housetrained. If not, we do have a crate on hand we can use if away/sleeping. We have a couple neighborhoods nearby we do walk in.

About: I've taken care of many different dogs, from chihuahuas, Pyrenees, weenie dogs, all the way to cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. I love animals, and I am willing to learn more about different breeds too! As of right now I am not working since I am a stay at home mom, so she is my working buddy (six months will not let play with the pets) so I am free pretty much anytime besides Sunday morning; because I like going to church. I can set up whatever routine you choose at your home, whether that is crating or letting them sleep out the couch, and so forth. I cannot do sitting at my house since I have large dogs that are protective.

About: Many people have relied on me to watch their pets for an evening or a week knowing I send them daily pictures, love them like my own, follow directions on their family members needs, and have an eye for detail. I have watched entire farms with horses, dogs, llamas. donkeys, cats, birds, and fish. I have also watched up to 7 dogs at once and am used to walking multiple dogs at one time. Animals make me happy, to learn their individual personalities and love their souls that make them unique. I work a part time job a few days a week at a vet clinic. I would love to be with your pet on days I have off or before and after my work hours. I have Saturdays and Sundays off so you can enjoy the weekend and not worry about your precious pupper. I love walking/jogging dogs on leashes whether in a neighborhood, ranch, in town, or on a trail. I also know how to appropriately use a shock collar. I very much enjoy throwing ball in the yard or playing tug of war with a toy. Whatever is provided and instructed for the specific dog I am able and eager to follow direction for their best interest.

About: I grew up with dogs from birth to age 20 where I would help feed, play with, take on walks and runs, bring to the vet, dog parks, and dog beaches. From age 20-25 I would dog sit my neighbors and friends dogs and they would rely on me for walking, feeding, playing fetch, and overnight stays! With my current season of life, I am working from home so with that said, I will have more time for exercise and hiking so if your dog enjoys being outside i’m sure we would be a great fit! I am available to do walks, hikes, playing fetch, feeding, bathroom, and check ins! I am not available to have dogs at my home or do overnights at the moment.

Whether it’s morning walks, playtime, feeding, or just companionship, I’m able to adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs and keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine when caring for pets in their own home. I follow all instructions carefully—feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Lucy was great! She came over to meet my dogs before the day she would be coming to pet sit. One of my dogs has been known to be afraid of strangers when we're not home. She was able to give both of my dogs potty breaks and she updated me when she was finished at my house. 5 stars!!

I can't say enough out Chloe and her love for animals. Not only does she have several of her own that she loves but she loves each and every one she comes in contact with. Chloe really gets to know your pets by spending time with them. Chloe is great with walking and keeping your dogs entertained while you are away. If Chloe is available during the time you are looking you are in luck!!!

I wholeheartedly recommend Jadeyn as a dog sitter. She is one of the most responsible, compassionate, and trustworthy people I know, and her love for animals is immediately obvious to anyone who sees her around dogs. Whether it’s going for long walks, sticking to feeding routines, or just making sure a pup feels safe and loved while their humans are away, she puts real care and attention into everything she does. She’s patient with nervous dogs, playful with energetic ones, and always attentive to their individual needs. If you’re looking for someone to treat your dog like family, Jadeyn is the one. You can feel confident and relaxed knowing your pet is in great hands.

10 years of experience

Allie is my go-to babysitter for my sensitive 7 year-old mixed breed dog, Louise. Lou can be very picky about people and can sometimes be reactive to other dogs, but whenever she is with Allie, I never worry about her. Allie is kind, caring, and attentive to animals big and small. She truly treats Louise as well as she does her own dogs whenever she is pet sitting for me.

Emma did an amazing job caring for Olive for 5 days while we were out of town. Emma followed all of our directions and did so much more! Olive got long walks outside and lots of cuddle time inside. Emma provided updates and pictures that showed that Olive was feeling very at home. I am always nervous bringing Olive to a new sitter, but I immediately felt at ease that Olive would be happy with Emma. Emma was very responsive to texts and super easy to work with. She is very sweet and kind and it is easy to see that she loves dogs. I would be very happy to have Emma watch Olive anytime we need to be away. (Funny side note - we don’t often play fetch with Olive, but obviously she did that quite a lot with Emma because since she has been home she keeps bringing us toys that she wants us to throw for her. I don’t think we are responding up to Olive’s new standard.🤣).
