About: I have grown up having dogs my entire life. I have two family dogs named Comet who is 15 years old and Lucy who is 8 years old. I love my dogs and have taken great care of them. I also regularly walked a dog named Lucy (different from my family’s dog Lucy) twice a week for a year while in college along with many other walks, drop-in visits, or sitting opportunities over the past six years. I enjoy walking, sitting, and doing drop-in visits for dogs. They bring me great joy, have such fun personalities, and get me outside for some exercise and fresh air. I am a social worker who is currently working on transferring licenses from states. With that said, I am currently very flexible with my schedule. I will always prioritize your pet’s needs. I usually like to see what the dog is doing in their own space or in a new space like my house so I can learn their preferences. I am always in the same room as the dog and never leave them on their own. My house is very clean and organized. There is plenty of living room and bedrooms space for them to roam around.

We keep a set routine for meals, exercise, rest and crate time, which is what settles most dogs down fastest. I have a crate available if yours is crate trained or wants a quiet space of their own, and I sanitize it and wash all bedding between every stay. Potty breaks every couple of hours. I live in an apartment with no yard, so we walk instead, which means I am careful about leashes, harnesses and doors and I do not let dogs off leash anywhere that is not enclosed. Only 1 or 2 dogs are ever here at once, so there is no group play and no surprises with other people's dogs.

About: I have been in the veterinary field for 10+ years working for a non profit organization. I have been house and dog sitting for the past 10 years on the side for mostly the same clients. I send daily pictures and updates, and hardly leave the house when I'm sitting unless otherwise specified or asked. I want to keep you and your fur babies as comfortable as possible. I am able to administer any kind of medication needed such as oral, injectables, or even special ointments. I can help with any special needs, and am always aware of schedules for feedings and any special diets. Early morning walks or late night potty breaks are not a problem and I am available for whatever may come up. I work mostly from home with the occasional day or two in office which means I would be able to provide the most care and attention. During the week, M-F, I typically only provide sitting but may have an occasional drop in. I do not have pets currently so all of my attention will be on your furry loved ones! I am a fly fishing guide currently in off season. This puts me in the unique situation where I can be an available at all times for check ins, walks and overnight stays! Safety is the most important consideration when I house/pet sit.
