About: I have grown up around all kinds of animals. I love them all--big or small. I am available to care after your furbaby for daily walks, multiple walks, or drop-ins/house-sitting (including pet meals) while you are away overnight. Please check out photos of pets I have cared after and contact me to discuss further. I take the care of your furbaby seriously so you can relax while you're away. I can provide morning, mid-day or afternoon walks, and am flexible for drop-ins and meals for multiple-day or overnight coverage. (please note, I cannot stay overnight at your home, but can return first thing in the morning.) I will gladly care for your pet from the comfort of your home, by feeding them, playing with them, sending them to bed and returning for morning potty time and/or additional visits, as required for your pet. Feel free to discuss your pet's specific needs. In some instances, drop-in fees may be required for multiple trips per day. Note...unless otherwise arranged, I am unable to sleep overnight.

About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I trained using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. I deeply believe that animals are caring intelligent beings. So much, that I started my vegan journey when I was a teenager. I pet sit full time and work at home so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pups. Let me know if you are looking for a regular sitter. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. For everyone's safey, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have at least three other pet sitters as back up options in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

With over 10 years of experience helping care for my mother’s 3 dogs, plus 3 years fostering for a local puppy rescue, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes—from tiny Chihuahuas and Pomeranians to sturdy English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, and energetic German Shorthaired Pointers. Our fenced yard and active household—complete with 3 friendly dogs and kids who adore animals—mean your pet will get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. The younger two love to play, while our older Pomchi prefers to relax and mind his own business, so your pet can choose between playtime or peace and quiet. During the day when no one is home, we crate our dogs for safety, and can do the same for your pet if needed. In the evenings, we follow your pet’s normal sleeping arrangements—whether that’s in a crate, on their own bed, or snuggled up on a human bed, which is what our dogs are used to. Throughout their stay, they’ll enjoy supervised play in our fenced yard, daily walks, and plenty of love and attention from our entire family.

About: When your pet stays with us they are family! My husband and I relocated from Seattle, Washington where we ran a very successful pet sitting business. We currently live in a house in the Longwood neighborhood of Mandarin. We share the house with Lincoln (my Italian-Chihuahua), Jazz (a boarder collie), and Ozzie (an English Golden Retriever), a couple of cats and housemates who love dogs and don't mind helping out! I have 17 plus years of experience watching pet's both at my place and in the home of the owner. I grew up with multiple pets ranging from dogs and cats and bunnies to birds and hamsters and I worked in the veterinary field for 6 years(2 of those in emergency care). I am well educated in pet care and have experience administering medications and injections with no problems. Lincoln joined the family in the spring on 2014 and really loves having friends come to play with him! You can be sure that your pet will get the best care and tons of love while you are away! About this sitter: I am an animal lover who has 1 dog of her own. But we live with two others! Why I love dog sitting I LOVE dogs! I love that petsitting allows me to "try out" different breeds and get to know the different personalities that each dog has. I grew up with quite a lot of animals and having them around is second nature to me. My mom used to rescue animals from the shelter who were on the waiting list to be put down and at one time we owned 12 dogs and 14 cats. We lived in a farmhouse with land...so there was plenty of room. My first dog on my own was Hannah, who passed this last summer. I adopted Lincoln in the spring of 2014 and he has been a great addition to my family. He loves other dogs and gets along well with pretty much everyone. Along with owning my own dogs I have been pet sitting for others, both friends and family for the past 17 years and I worked in the Vet industry for 6 plus years. I enjoy the company of animals and treat them with love. Lincoln is my family. Meet my pets Lincoln, an Italian Greyhound-Chihuahua mix, Jazz a boarder collie who is skittish around new humans but loves other dogs and Ozzie, an English Golden! There are two indoor/outdoor cats who get along with dogs but go ninja when we have doggy visitors. About my yard The yard is very big and fenced with an additional fenced in potty area with doggy doors for easy use, but I have no issues taking your pet on walks around our minimal traffic neighborhood! I am a stay at home mom and also looks after my elderly grandmother who lives with us. We do leave our home occasionally for dance and gymnastics classes, a theme park visit and other errands, but I'd say we are home 80% of the time. We have a fenced yard with lots of room to run and play as well as areas of the house that are very pet friendly. We're pretty lax about pets on furniture and have lots of comfy dog beds and blankets. We make sure to feed all animals separately to avoid any altercations.
