We have 2 cats, and we definitely care a lot about them (as most pet people do probably), and this was the first time leaving them for a full week so we were a little worried to say the least. Gwendolyn showed up a few days prior to meet the cats and we showed her all the things we needed her to check. The cats came right up to her and seemed to love her from the start! We are also in the process of selling our home, so a few times we had inspectors and appraisers come through and she even came at different times and even short notice to check on them! She clearly showed love & care for our pets and we definitely recommend her for any of your pets needs. She will clearly love them like her own! Highly recommended.”

About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting at people’s homes with my cousin when I was just 10 years old, and ever since then I’ve loved helping care for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m currently the Executive Assistant at Pawsitively Posh Pet Resort & Spa and the Rescue Coordinator at Pawsitively Posh Pet Rescue, where I work hands-on with animals every day. If you feed at 7–8am, I’ll do the same, and if dinner is at 6–7pm, I’ll follow that schedule too. If your pet needs medication, I’ll stay consistent with your timing as well. I don’t make your pet fit my schedule—I fit yours, so your pet stays comfortable and stress-free I have a safe, fenced yard and dogs of my own, so if your dog is friendly they’ll have a great companion—but if not, that’s completely okay too. I always adjust to your pet’s comfort level and needs, whether that means space, separation, or extra attention. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and truly at home while you’re away.

About: I have been a veterinarian technician for 2.5 years total. Prior to that experience, I have cared for friends, family and neighborhood pets (including reptiles) while their families were away for one reason or another. They say that you can tell alot by how a person is perceived by animals- even troublesome dogs have grown to tolerate me so I can promise that your fur children will enjoy my company and care. I've gone back to school for Respiratory Therapy which means I'm free to love on the babies all weekend and any time after 3 PM on most weekdays (varies due to distance of travel). Imagine: your dog or cat could help me study for my next exam! I have 2 cats and 2 dogs at home. Everyone is on a strict feeding schedule and my oldest pup required medications morning and evening. I keep a clean and tidy home so you can expect that I'd run a super tight ship with your critters.

About: **Before booking.... I work full time Mon - Fri. I am not home during those times, but I am available any time after I get off of work. Saturday and Sunday I am available all day.** For some reason this site doesn't show this information. I have grown up around and have been around dogs my whole life. I have experience with all sizes of dogs and ages. Some breeds I have experience with are Pit Bulls, Boxers, Mini Pins, Chihuahua, Blue Healer, Dingo, and the list goes on! The last office job I had also included dog sitting for the owner and his wife's dogs. They kept me good company and visa versa. Some of my friends call me the dog whisperer. I seem to give the dogs with anxiety a sense of ease when I am around them. I love to pet them and rub around their favorite spots that relax them. I.E, ears, belly, and neck. Sometimes I tend to find myself talking to them like they are a little baby lol I keep my rates on the lower end because I love being around dogs and I know we all just need a break sometimes or can't afford a sitter when a family function is important to attend. About: I am a retired Vet Tech of 35 years. I worked with companion animals, farm animals and occasionally birds, pocket pets and exotics. I now work remotely from home and want to continue caring for and enjoying all animals. I'm here to snuggle and care for your fur-babies when you can't be there. I'm available for dog walking on the weekends or weekdays evening and for daily drop-in visits for cats and caged pets any day of the week! Since I work from home, fitting the care of your pets into my schedule, is very doable. I have 1 cat and 1 dog (oh, and a husband, lol)! Dog waking is limited to evenings during the week and anytime on the weekend. Daily drop-in visits for cats and caged pets can be done any day of the week. I will consider limited boarding in my home on a case by case basis that we can discuss. I have a large yard, but not fenced in. My dog is a house dog and gets walked on a leash for potty breaks. We also have a dog trolley line to use for when we want to hang outside.

About: I have loved animals from the minute I opened my eyes. I grew up with the responsibility of caring for my critters (goats, horse, donkeys, dogs, cats) and now have two cats and dogs of my own!
