She has a big yard for dogs to run around in and plenty of space to go for walks! My dog Athena would be exhausted at the end of the day from playing and be very excited to go back! I would 100% recommend her, especially if you need someone to care for your fur baby for an 8+ hour day or overnights.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have always had pets of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I’m comfortable with dogs of any size. I have 2 dogs of my own. I’m available for visits and walks in the evenings in May. I’ll have week day and weekend availability in June and July. After July, I’ll be available mostly on weekends. I will follow any rules and routines you have set for your pet when visiting and walking your fur baby. I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured before leaving. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications. I provide plenty of outdoor breaks, supervised playtime, and lots of one-on-one attention. My home has a finished basement with a cozy dog area that’s perfect for crate time or quiet naps. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and animals with the same respect and attention I would my own. I follow all care instructions carefully, keep things tidy, and make sure pets stick to their familiar environment and routines. About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture,scratchers and enrichment.

About: Since I was 9 years old I have been fortunate to grow up in a household that has always included dogs. Throughout the years, we have cared for a diverse range of breeds, including Terriers, Boxers, and Mastiffs and I wouldn't have it any other way (except for maybe more dogs). I was raised to care for and love them like I would any family member. I have administered medication to not only my own animals, but to others as well. Not only that, I can perform hygiene tasks such as bathing, brushing, etc. I work remotely and have the flexibility to create my own schedule. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your pup while you're away! I have a fenced-in yard with ample amounts of running space. I have three sweet pups: a 13-year-old Westie, a 3-year-old Shepherd, and a yellow Lab who is less than a year old. They are happy to help keep your fur babies busy during playtime or snuggle next to them during nap time. If it's a pleasant day, we'll be outside playing in the yard or lounging in the shade. If not, there is plenty of room to entertain inside. We allow our dogs to relax on the furniture and welcome visitors to it as well; The couch is our favorite place to snuggle! I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. My senior boy is on oral medication; I've also administered medication to others in the past. I would love to love your sweet babe while you're away.

About: I had three miniature dachshunds until they all eventually passed away from old age. I treated them as if they were children. I am very in tune with an animal’s needs and emotions. Animals that I have never met before, usually take to me right away. When I cared for my father-in-law’s dog for two weeks, he did not want to return home with him….lol. I hate to see any animal suffer or be in danger. I go as far to remove turtles from the road so that they do not get hit and I have tried to save numerous injured birds in the wild. Animals, especially, dogs, provide so much unconditional love. I am a retired law enforcement officer. Thus, I have a lot of availability. I am available Sunday-Saturday 24 hours as long as I am provided at least a short notice. I have a fenced in back yard that I always ensure is securely locked at all times. I would pet proof home ensure no medications or cleaning products, etc are accessible to pets. Also, I would only feed what the owner wanted the pet to be fed.
