About: I originally worked at a boarding facility for a few months before switching over to vet-med. Ive worked in vet med since 2022! About: Thank you for considering me, I can’t wait to meet your critter! I have volunteered with Compassion Animal Rescue Endeavor of Tallahassee during all four years of undergrad. Here I assisted with dog training classes, guided socialization of the rescue dogs, and walked dogs regularly. It was a great experience to see rescues come in and to then see them blossom into happy, healthy pets! Additionally, I have volunteered with Jacksonville Humane Society during my summer internship in 2018. In my time in this volunteer position I was trained in both dog and cat handling as well as dog walking techniques. About: Since I was 9 years old I have been fortunate to grow up in a household that has always included dogs. Throughout the years, we have cared for a diverse range of breeds, including Terriers, Boxers, and Mastiffs and I wouldn't have it any other way (except for maybe more dogs). I was raised to care for and love them like I would any family member. I have administered medication to not only my own animals, but to others as well. Not only that, I can perform hygiene tasks such as bathing, brushing, etc. I work remotely and have the flexibility to create my own schedule. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your pup while you're away! I have a fenced-in yard with ample amounts of running space. I have three sweet pups: a 13-year-old Westie, a 3-year-old Shepherd, and a yellow Lab who is less than a year old. They are happy to help keep your fur babies busy during playtime or snuggle next to them during nap time. If it's a pleasant day, we'll be outside playing in the yard or lounging in the shade. If not, there is plenty of room to entertain inside. We allow our dogs to relax on the furniture and welcome visitors to it as well; The couch is our favorite place to snuggle! I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. My senior boy is on oral medication; I've also administered medication to others in the past. I would love to love your sweet babe while you're away.

So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: Hello! My name is Alyse, I am a special education Autism kindergarten teacher and have been teaching for 5 years, as well ask working with children with various special needs for 7 years. Although I am passionate about my work with kiddos, I am a huge animal lover! I have had many cats and dogs in the past, having only 1 cat currently and looking to start fostering dogs soon. I have 5 summers of experience of pet sitting, transportation, and care during the summers when I am not working full-time. I can help with pet transportation, pet sitting, pet check-in's, pet walking, in-home care, or anything you need! I believe that animals are our hearts and souls, and deserve all the love, care, and compassion that humans do! I look forward to caring and loving your furry friend! I am currently off from teaching for the summer break, so I will have all summer available for you and your pets! I will have one week at the end of June that I will be traveling, but other than that, I am available morning, noon, and night, all hours of the for your fur baby! My schedule is extremely flexible and can be easily adjusted to yours. I am available any day(s) of the week! My home is pet-friendly and is open for home care! Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, I live in a small, quiet neighborhood with plenty of space to walk, play, and visit other animals! I have multiple parks nearby as well. I do have one cat who is extremely friendly, loves to play outside (like a pup), and enjoys any kind of animal friend! If you are looking for in-home services at your home, I am available to stay with your furry friend to make sure they are comfortable and cared for. Now, this is merely just an example of my every day with my own boys, When imagining what you may or may not need when it comes to caring for your pet, customizing yours and your pet’s needs is always essential. Caring for someone else's pet in their home requires attention to detail, respect for their routines, and a genuine love for animals. Here is what that looks like when tending to your pet and their needs: 1. **Understanding the Pet’s Needs**: Before starting, I have a detailed conversation with the pet owner to learn about the pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, exercise requirements, and any specific behaviors or quirks. 2. **Following Instructions**: Adhering strictly to the care instructions provided by the pet owner. This includes feeding schedules, medication administration, and any special care instructions. 3. **Creating a Comfortable Environment**: When possible, I like to do a meet & greet with the pup(s) and their owners to ensure they are comfortable come time for me to start caring for them. Maintaining the pet's usual environment as much as possible. Keeping their sleeping area, toys, and feeding spots in the same locations to minimize stress. 4. **Establishing a Routine**: Sticking to the pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. Consistency helps the pet feel secure and comfortable while their owner is away. 5. **Providing Plenty of Attention**: Spending quality time with the pet to ensure they feel loved and cared for while their owner is away. Engaging in play, training, or simply cuddling to keep them happy. Of course happy to incorporate things you as a pet owner may request as needed. 6. **Staying Active**: Ensuring the pet gets enough physical activity according to their needs. Taking them for walks, playing fetch, or engaging in other activities they enjoy. 7. **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keeping the pet's living area clean. This includes regularly changing their water, cleaning up after them, and maintaining their litter box if applicable. 8. **Monitoring Health and Behavior**: Keeping an eye on the pet's health and behavior. Such as changes in appetite, appearance, mannerisms or energy levels, notifying the owner immediately. 9. **Emergency Contacts**: I make sure to have a list of emergency contacts, including the owner's vet and an alternate emergency contact. Knowing what to do in case of an emergency. 10. **Providing Updates**: Regularly updating the pet owner on how their pet is doing. Sending photos or messages to reassure them and keep them connected to their furry baby. These guidelines I have can ensure you that your pet will receive the best care possible while you’re away. About: I have been caring for my own and others pets since I was 10 years old. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to help care for and live on their dogs, cats and other small pets. I am currently not working so I am fully available to care for your pets in your home. I have so much love to give for all pets. I will follow all usual care instructions.
