“This was my first Rover experience! Justine and Roman did a great job watching my 100 lb Giant Schnauzer (Lenny) for a few days while I stayed at an AB&B that didn't allow dogs. From the pictures they sent me, it looked like Lenny was having a good time at their home. I would book again if I am near Seneca again. Thank you.”

About: Your pet’s comfort is my priority, I have over 20 years experience owning and caring for pets. I bring a reliable, structured approach to pet care. I have hands‑on experience with training and reinforcing good habits through consistency and positive engagement. I am able to recognize signs of stress. So to the greatest extent possible, I will follow established feeding, walking, and bedtime routines to keep pets grounded while you’re away. I’m confident with younger pets who like to test boundaries giving them the opportunity to make good choices. I'm patient and attentive with senior pets, including those who need slower pacing or extra reassurance, and I’m able to administer medications safely per directions. I treat every animal like they're my family, giving them the same structure and affection they’re used to at home. I work full time from home which allows me to provide attentive and consistent care. Although I work from home and my schedule is relatively flexible, I maintain standard office hours and have client calls throughout the day. Morning or lunchtime drop-offs and pick-ups are preferred if possible. Mornings between 730am and 9am and mid-day between 12pm-1pm are best. if afternoon drop offs/pick-ups are required, my schedule generally allows for that between 4pm-5pm. I take classes approximately four days a week so am generally unavailable for drop‑offs and pick‑ups between 5:30pm - 8:30pm due to the scheduled class times. However, with enough advanced notice I may be able to accommodate your need. if you have questions or a unique situation, please reach out. We truly love your pets like our own and would love for them to come stay with us. Welcome to our home—where pets are family and comfort comes first. My spouse and I recently moved to the Anderson county area and are still in the process of getting settled. I have always had pets in my life. I love their companionship, affection, loyalty, good nature, and adventurous spirit. I provide a loving home where your pets are treated like family. I live in a single‑family home with a fenced yard. I work from home, giving me a flexible schedule for attentive and consistent care. Our household is slower‑paced, making it an ideal environment for senior dogs and small to medium companions who enjoy a calm, cozy routine. Consistent structure and routine are critical for our pets to relax and enjoy themselves. I understand this and am committed to maintaining routines that you have established for your companion. We love to field trip and go hike state parks and gentle trails on the weekends. Everyone's time is limited on this spinning space-rock so we think it's important to give them all the love we can while we're here and to allow them to make their own memories; to enjoy new experiences and new environments. I share my home with my wife (who arguably loves pets more than I do ;), a friendly and sociable 4-year-old female beagle/lab mix 30lbs and one senior female domestic short hair cat. So it’s important that your pet is comfortable with and gets along with other animals. However, if your animal requires some level of isolation due to medical reasons, I have the space to accommodate. For everyone's safety and comfort there are a few things that need to be in place. I only take one client at a time. With that, I insist we have an initial meet and greet. So that the first time your loved one meets me is not in a strange or stressful environment. This makes sure we all (pets included) have a chance to meet and make sure we mesh. Unfortunately, I cannot accept unneutered males or females in heat. all pets must be current on vaccines and be on flea prevention—experience has taught me that prevention is far easier than eradication. Although my schedule is flexible, I maintain standard office hours so have client calls throughout the day. Morning or lunch time drop offs and pick-ups are preferred if possible. However, with enough advanced notice I may be able to accommodate changes. if you have questions, please reach out. We truly love your pets like our own and would love for them to come stay with us.

“Stephanie was absolutely AMAZING! ❤️ I get so anxious leaving my baby, but from the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease. She was such a great communicator and sent me pictures and updates throughout the day, every day, which made such a huge difference. I was able to actually relax and enjoy my trip knowing Alphie was in such good hands. Stephanie has the sweetest personality and was an absolute joy to work with. You can tell she genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she watches, and Alphie had SO much fun with her. When I came to pick him up, he almost didn’t want to come home—which has NEVER happened before! 😂❤️ That alone tells me everything I need to know. I will absolutely be using Stephanie for all of my future dog-sitting needs. I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. If I could give her a million stars, I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love! I have experience dog-sitting for families, fostering dogs through a local humane society, and working with animals at a veterinary clinic that cares for both small and large animals. These experiences have helped me become comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, and needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, medication as directed, or simply some extra company, I’m happy to help! My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are in caring, dependable hands. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! 🐾 As a college student, I have a busy schedule, but caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy making time for. I balance school, work, and my other responsibilities while staying organized and dependable. I plan my schedule ahead of time to ensure I can give each pet the attention, care, and exercise they need. I am happy to discuss scheduling in advance to find a routine that works best for both you and your pets. My goal is to provide reliable care while making sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away! 🐾 In my own home, I make sure pets have a consistent routine, fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and attention, and a clean, comfortable environment. In my clients’ homes, I follow their instructions carefully and stick to each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any special care they may need. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and different needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I also keep owners updated so they can have peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands! Expect lots of photos and updates while you are away!!

About: I have grooming, training, & boarding experience. I’m experienced in administering medications; pills, eye drops, shots, etc. Animals are my peace so I’d love to give a peace of mind to others😊 I’m available full time, there are currently 6 dogs & 2 cats in my house & the pups get outside about 3-5 times a day depending on the weather. I also have a 3 year old whos with me 3 days out of the week. I have a fenced in yard, all of my pups & my sisters are crated when not supervised. I would prefer crates brought when staying with me just for safety reasons! & if I were to watch your pup in your hone they’d get the same love & care they receive from you😊

Summer was fantastic with my dog! I was visiting Clemson and went to a football game (ended up having a late game - Sunmer was super accommodating and watched her until the game was done and I finally got ba k from getting the shuttle). Her dog was a sweetheart and Izzy got along great with her. She sent me pictures during the game and I felt so comfortable with her being there. Other times I’ve visited I’ve left my dog home, but I’m definitely bringing her with next time.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Adams Crossing home-away-from-home, packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Adams Crossing.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Adams Crossing sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
