“Chandra is so amazing with our pups!! Understands each of their personalities so well and takes great care of them including giving seizure medication to our shepherd. Thanks as always for making us feel confident when away that they are well cared for!”

“Tamara truly is such a pleasure to work with! I’ve used her for both walks and housesitting for my spoiled eight-year-old girl and each time is truly worth it. She always leaves everything so clean and tidy, sends great updates and is so flexible with my schedule. I always feel at ease, when Tamara’s taking care of of my furry angel.”

“Lara is great - she handles my large dog with ease - he can be leash reactive and that requires expertise. And she is consistent and timely and reliable. What else could you ask for?”

About: I have extensive experience will all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, chickens, goats, pigs, and rabbits). Grew up on a farm so I’m very knowledgeable with pet care. Guaranteed to be your pet’s new bff. I’m currently working part time and looking to walk some adorable pups in my free time! Happy to go on long hikes or just a quick spin around the neighborhood. I am very respectful and detail oriented, whatever you need for you and your pet’s comfort is my number one goal. I want to work with you to show you that your pet is safe while you’re not around.

About: I've had my own pets since 1991. I had a rabbit and dog in college and have learned over the decades how to best care for our friends. I've just retired from a busy career, so I know how important it is to find someone to care for your animals when you're away; even if it's just the gym or happy hour after work. I've fostered for several area rescues and know folks have a different idea of appropriate care. I only use fear free methods, because our animals need to know they can trust us. I've had young high energy dogs who need play and long walks and I've cared for my dogs in their last years when they needed additional care or special medical needs including pills, dressings, eye drops and carrying older dogs who aren't as mobile anymore. I would love to get to know your pets and help you give them the best life. I'm currently retired and searching for part time employment. I don't mind early or late night visits since our dogs don't have a 9 to 5 schedule. I do have an active social and volunteering schedule but it's flexible enough to accommodate your needs. I have cared for many dogs who need to be crated or who are door dashers and escape artists. I have a calm energy that helps put pets at ease. I'm a fan of high value treats to make the crate a special place. My personal dogs are crate trained but I know that's not for everyone.

“Jessica is the best! Maggie loves her, and she sends me the best pictures of my four-legged baby. I feel so relieved knowing that Maggie is in good hands when I’m away.”

About: I've had/taken care of dogs my whole life. My husband and I love dogs and have a big yard for them to run around in. We often dogsit for family and friends when they are out of town. We lost our fur baby a couple months ago due to old age and frankly we miss him and the energy he brought to our house. Your furbaby (or babies) would have a whole house to themselves and would have the full attention of a loving couple. We live in a great neighborhood for walks and have several parks nearby. Both my husband and I work full time jobs out of the house, but are never gone more than 8 hours at a time. Our routine with our recent furbaby would be walks and breakfast in the morning before work (around 8ish), a walk/play outside after work (around 4ish) and then a bathroom break outside before bed. On weekends we have more time to spend with your dog(s) We understand that every dog is special and has special needs! We are open to all care routines and any oddities your dog may have (we used to have to hide our trash can from our dog before leaving the house 😅). As long as you provide instructions, we feel confident managing any schedules, medical care, oddities, or routines. Your fur baby will be in a loving household that just misses having dogs around all the time.

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my entire life. I was a toddler when my family got our first of 3 cats and a dog. In 2017, my roommate adopted a dog and I played a huge role in taking care of him — from feeding, taking him out, going on walks, baths, and more! Since moving to St. Louis I’ve dog sat for two families in my apartment. This was my first time meeting the dogs and having this experience and it was great. I love helping others while getting to spend time with animals! Currently I work remotely/hybrid 30-40 hours a week so I have a lot of flexibility to fit pet care into my schedule! I can take breaks at work for walks, play, feedings, etc. but also hang out at the house with the pet. I’m very big on following directions at others home so I can respect the space and keep everyone safe. In my own home, I don’t have a backyard so the dog will always be on a leash outside. Inside, I always make sure nothing is on the floor or tempting for a pet to eat/chew on, keep food away, and ensure doors are closed to avoid them getting into areas they shouldn’t be.

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life — dogs of all ages, guinea pigs, fish, and more. I truly enjoy giving animals love, attention, and fun! With no evening classes this semester, I have plenty of flexibility in the mornings. Walking dogs fits perfectly into my routine, and I enjoy starting the day active and outdoors. I give dogs freedom to sniff, stroll, and play at their pace—always sticking to their routine and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: I love taking care of animals of all sizes! I have three cats, two guinea pigs, and a hamster. I have experience in administering medication to cats and dogs. I work part time, so I have plenty of free time to look after your pets! I am very flexible and can care for pets any day of the week. I have experience in administering medication for cats and dogs as well as looking after disabled and injured animals. I have my own vehicle so can care for animals in the event of an emergency.

About: I have volunteered at dog shelters,I took care of my family and friends pets , I'm also a cat dad to my precious 2 felines I'm on disability, I am afforded time to fit anyone schedule and this allows me to get the exercise my doctor has recommended for me. I have 2 cats at home with me I feed them and give them fresh water every day I'm very good with dogs and cats

Amy H.
“Amy has helped me out with my dogs on multiple occasions, and I've always been very happy with the care she has provided. One of my dogs has a health issue, but that was no problem with Amy, as she made sure everything was taken care of as it should be while she watched her for a week. Whether it be to walk, be a companion, or pet sit, Amy has it all under control, and honestly couldn't think of any one I would rather have help me out.”

Megan & Jacob K.Star Sitter
“Megan has been taking care of our dogs for years. The dogs are so thrilled to see her! She knows exactly how to get rid of their energy and then feeds and love on them. She spends quality time making sure they are comfortable and ready for their nap/ bedtime when she leaves. I never worry about our babies (dogs) when Megan is watching them. You, and your dogs would be lucky to secure Megan to watch them in your absence.”

Alex S.

“Alex always takes the best care of my pups. I love his detailed notes!”
