About: I’ve had pets especially dogs all my life. I’ve taken care of other dog for two weeks. I’m currently having two cats living with us. Pets are best thing to have! I’m currently working on call as substitute teacher. So I’d thought I could work on days I’m available to look after pets, dogs or cats. Take dogs for walk and feeding if need to. I have a backyard but not fenced. But take walk if need. Play with ball or toys. Giving lots of cuddles. Important making them feel comfortable and safe.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with a wide range of pets, especially rescue dogs and senior animals. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to older pets with mobility or medical needs, and I understand that each animal requires a unique kind of love and attention. I’m patient, observant, and gentle — especially with shy or anxious pets. While I don’t have a pet right now (just got married and moved so it's been a crazy few months), I miss that connection and would love to help others care for their furry family members. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work a pretty flexible schedule so that leaves me with lots of flexibility for pet care! I’m happy to do drop-ins, walks, or sitting depending on your pet’s needs and schedule. I’m reliable, communicative, and love spending my free time with animals! I always prioritize safety, trust, and respect when caring for pets and their homes. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I ensure a clean, calm, and secure environment where your pet feels comfortable and loved. I treat your space with the utmost care, following any specific instructions you provide. Being responsible and respectful is my top priority—I want both you and your pet to feel confident and relaxed while you’re away.

Jack did a great job with Pivo on his walks. He was punctual and watched over Pivo the way we had asked him to. We'd be happy to have Jack walk Pivo in the future.

About: I am a certified veterinary technician with an additional certification in massage and rehab therapy. I have been working in the animal care industry since 2012 and have worked with and trained dogs for a long as I can remember. I offer expert level care for medically complex cases and a fear free approach for anxious pets. I have experience working with anxious and aggressive dogs as well as competition trained dogs. Being crate trained is a must for overnight stays. I do have 1 large crate here but encourage you to bring your pet's crate from home if able. Self- employed with a flexible schedule, I have all day availability and can also do early morning and late evening drop ins. I only take 1 client at a time so that I can give your pet the care and attention they deserve. Because I only take one client at a time, I can offer a stress free stay for animal aggressive pets. I wash all toys and blankets and sanitize all the floors and dishes between every stay.

Cayla is an amazing dog caretaker! She has a genuine love for animals, and it is apparent in her interactions with them. My dog is my baby, there is not many people besides my family and closest friends I trust with him, but Cayla is someone I can say I truly trust to take the best care of my pup! She makes each animal feel loved and special. I would very highly recommend Cayla!

About: Hi I am still available for your pet needs please feel free to call or text me. I am home full time and I honestly love animals i will work with all animal's and i can provide references upon request and I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life. As aa kid when I had a dog I fed my dog trained my dog took my dog out my mom only had to do my dogs potty run when I was at school and what I was not able to do she did but I spent a great deal of time with my dog and the dogs I have now are very much loved trained and well behaved and I always tried to find the best ways and different ways that work with the dog. I will gladly work with the owners on what they wish done. I am home 24/7 I do not work. The only time I am not home is if I have drs appointments or another client pet to attend to. I am very flexible in schedule. Please feel free to call me or text me. I care for my clients pets the way my clients ask of me in terms of feeding potty breaks walks etc. I care for the pets as I would want my pets treated with love kindness and respect. About: I frequently pet sit for my both my sisters and parents animals. One was a siberian husky, another is a dachsund/terrier mix and the others were a mixed hound breed and a poodle/bichon frise. I also petsit and did overnight visits with a previous professors golden retriever and golden/Irish setter mix. I own a small mixed breed dog (similar to a Jack russell)Russell, and grew up with a Brittany Spaniel and a West Highland White Terrier. I also have frequent contact with my boyfriends parents dogs: a dachshund, and a cattle dog. I work part-time currently, and am scheduled Wed, Thurs, and Fri, and the occasional Saturday. I am available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday all day, and mornings on Wed, and Thurs. I currently live in a condo so my small dog is ideal for the space. Since my dog is reactive to other dogs, I would be doing only clients homes overnights, visits, and walks.

About: Hi! I have taken care of cats, dogs, chickens & lizards. I feed them, enjoy walking them & spending time with all of them. Thanks. I currently work full time and this is something I do part time, on the side. My full time job is flexible but I would need notice to adjust my work schedule.I can’t promise I can do this all the time… I like to do a meet n greet first so I can meet the family, let the pets sniff me & have some interaction. I follow the regular routine when I am in the clients home. If they are crated, I crate them. If they need to be let out in the middle of night & that is what the owner does, I let pet out…I make sure they are well taken care of. I treat them as they are my own.

About: Growing up in a "Big Cat" Zookeeper's loving family taught me how to love and respect our furry sweethearts! It's so hard who to know you can trust your babies with, but your gut instinct should guide you. Most importantly, we all know to read our pets response to the caregiver you choose. I am always just as excited and goofy to see and love them, as they are to see me! You're invited to meet my family, home, and of course my pets, so you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing they will be so loved and safe with me, as well as my retired Police Officer husband and Sweet, 90yo retired Zookeeper Dad who lives with us on our 5 acres. Your pups are welcome to come play here too. My grown sons are an awesome Paramedic and Christian Mech. Engineer who like all of us in our clan of 20 Extended members, adore all animals! Retiring as we speak to start enjoying life with our pets, family, and so you can be rest assured your pets are getting the love, attention, and exercise you want for them, when you can't. We have acres of play yards for our dogs and look forward to keeping your pets happy and healthy in their safe, comfortable home areas.

We use Carrie to let our dog out while at work and we couldn’t recommend her more!! This was our first time using Rover and we are so glad we found her. She is reliable, a great communication and we love the photos we get from her. It is nice knowing our pup, Woody, is in good hands when she goes to take him on walks. You can tell Woody loves her as well. 10/10 recommend Carrie!!

Susana was hired to be our dogsitter/walker during our daughter's wedding at a campground in East Troy, WI. She was asked to attend the wedding and help us with our Great Dane Molli who was part of the wedding party. Susana came out to us and stay by Molli's side for the time that we wanted to socialize with family and friends and eat dinner at the reception. Molli seemed to really like Susana and was super comfortable with her immediately. We will definitely consider having Susana help us with Molli next time we are staying in the East Troy/Lake Geneva area.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
