About: Hi there, I’m Angelina! I’ve had pets my entire life and have always loved being around animals. I have experience caring for pets both at home and through my work at a pet store, and I now work as an Animal Care Technician. I’m used to working with many animals at once and take pride in my ability to recognize changes in behavior or injuries. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet, their quirks, and how they respond best to care. I can administer medications/topicals, handle puppies, kittens, seniors, or anxious pets, follow any specific care needs or funny rituals your pet may be used to, and am quick to react in case of an emergency. I’ve handled all sorts of pets (small animals, birds, dogs, and cats) as well, so if you have any other animals that you’d like watched as well, I’m your girl! I’m big on communication, so you will always get updates on how your pet is doing and cute photos to go along with them. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your babies! I work full-time from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, so I’m available any time after 4! I’m always open to stopping by after work and overnight if needed. I’ll make sure your pet maintains their normal routine and feels as comfortable as possible, almost as though you never left! If staying overnight, your home will be well-taken care of as well. I don’t mind doing a meet-and-greet so I can get idea of what to expect from both you and your pet.
“Jen did a great job checking in on our cat while we were away. Keeley's favorite past time is playing laser pointer and Jen made sure to play with her every day while we were away which we really appreciated :)”

About: I have nearly two years of professional experience working as a kennel assistant at two different animal care facilities, where I cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have experience administering medications, monitoring animal health, and confidently handling pets with a wide range of behaviors, including anxious, reactive, and energetic animals. I have also volunteered with cat rescue organizations, helping care for cats and prepare them for adoption into loving homes. As a pet owner myself, I care for one dog, four cats, and a lizard, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, responsibility, and compassion that every pet deserves. Pet care is currently my full-time focus, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate most requests. In a few weeks, I will be starting college to become a veterinary technician. Once classes begin, I will be available after class Monday through Thursday and will have open availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I will do my best to be flexible and work with your schedule whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, maintain your pet’s routine, provide plenty of love and attention, ensure a safe environment, and treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect and care.
“Natalie took great care of our cat while we were away! Our cat is known to be super sweet and unexpectedly spicy. She did great reading our cat and looking after her. I will 100% book again!”

“Shuhuan did a great job taking care of our senior bulldog. She sent us photos and updates daily. We will continue to use her to take care of our dog when needed. Highly recommend!”

About: I love all pets! I have taken care of anything from a 130 pound dog to a crested gecko and tarantula, any pet you have I would love to meet. I know leaving home is hard and I understand how important pets are. Your pets are family, so my job is to keep them in the same safe and loving environment that you give them each day. I have been around animals since I was a kid so I am experienced with administering medication through injections, pills, and topical creams. I have also cared for pets with special needs and dogs who experience seizures, so I have the knowledge to handle those types of situations too. I will be taking 2 in person college courses (one each weekday) starting in the fall 2026, so I have the time to be with your pet(s). I’m comfortable working weekends and weekdays so that they always have a friend like me around. I like to keep an honest schedule here on Rover so if a last minute thing needs your attention my availability is up to date! First and foremost I want to keep your pets comfortable in their own home. I believe it is super important to let all animals get to know me at their own pace because their comfort comes first. For me to make your transition home as easy as possible, I like to maintain the same routine for them that you set up. And last but certainly not least I understand that this is your home along your pet(s), I uphold the respect and privacy that should always been seen when being in someone else's space.
“Kristin responded right away & helped us when we reached out last minute for pet care. Not only did she accept the request within 24 hours; she also made herself available that very evening for an introduction visit. She is very thorough and asks questions that instill confidence.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from playful puppies to delicate seniors. I'm dedicated to ensuring your pet feels happy and safe, and I keep in close communication with pet parents so you always know your pet is being well-cared for. As a fully remote worker, I have the flexibility to manage my meeting schedule, allowing me to allocate dedicated blocks of time for pet care. I keep my calendar meticulously up-to-date, ensuring that you can rely on the availability shown. I like to get to know each dog I care for and tailor activities based on their personality and needs. For active dogs we may play fetch and go for long walks. On bad weather days, I engage them with brain games, play tug of war, or offer a bone to keep them entertained and mentally stimulated. My goal is to ensure each pet feels happy, comfortable, and well-cared for, whether they're at my home or in their own.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life whether it was for my family friends or neighbors. I have 5 Great Danes, one Doberman, a chihuahua, and 4 cats. I’ve dealt with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Puppies and seniors I have taken care of and had my own to take care of. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Abbey Downs
Daphne was absolutely wonderful with our cat! She was so kind, attentive, and reliable, and gave us such peace of mind while we were away. She clearly cares about animals and went above and beyond to make sure Barfi was happy and well taken care of. We came home to a very happy kitty! We would absolutely recommend Daphne and will definitely be booking her again!

Shuhuan is a so kind and professional pet sitter. She took care of our two cats while we were in a week-long business trip. She always came to our house at the scheduled time frame, and played around with our two cats together. She even helped us to adjust the auto feeder clock during the daylight saving time begins on Sunday. It seems like both of our two cats like her very much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Abbey Downs. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
