“Jess is great and so kind! She was available last minute and quickly set up a meet and greet with my girls Layla and Phoebe. They instantly took to her, thanks to the treats she brought them! Jess took great care of the dogs while I was away and sent me pics of them bonding. I certainly recommend her as a pet sitter and I will be using her in the future!!”

“Natalie is the kind of caregiver who goes above and beyond to ensure your furry ones get all the care and attention they deserve. She did a great job taking care of our two wonderful labs while we were away. We highly recommend her for any short term or long term services you may be looking for.”

“Kristin was amazing with our lab, Lilo. She was so caring and was fantastic with communication and pictures. Gave us such peace of mind to know that our pup was in such good hands. Lilo already misses her (and the PB Kong treats)!”

About: I've always loved animals and felt drawn to them! I've been around animals my entire life, I grew up with cats and dogs (over the years I've had 7 cats and 3 dogs!) and been around other people's pets. Throughout high school I pet sat for friends and family and loved it. I'm not amazing at training but I've picked up a little bit of knowledge from watching my sister train my dog over the years. I am a full-time college student at Ursinus College (where I also work part-time as a tutor). I am free on weekends and weekdays after 2pm besides Thursday (available after 5:30pm). I have experience with many different types of pets and am more than willing to accommodate to whatever works best for them and you! Whether that is talking them on walks, playing with them, petting them, or just being there keeping them company.

“Paige is a very kind and compassionate sitter, we had her taking care of our cat for a week and she was always super communicative and helpful! We will definitely hire her again!”

“Brianna went above and beyond taking amazing care of our kitties. She was a very last minute booking and was not only understanding but extremely supportive in accommodating all our pets needs. We swear we came home to a cleaner house than we left it to! I would recommend Brianna to anyone needing a caretaker for their pet and will definitely rebook in the future 🫶”

“I feel so lucky to have found Rachael to check in on my two cats every day while I was away for 10 days. She’s super communicative and reliable and I would recommend to her anyone and be so happy to work with her again.”

“Very responsive and sent me a picture. Great walker! Zoë was great when I came back despite the long day in the crate for her and only one walk. He didn’t mind that she had a broken toe and cone of shame.”

“Shuhuan is a so kind and professional pet sitter. She took care of our two cats while we were in a week-long business trip. She always came to our house at the scheduled time frame, and played around with our two cats together. She even helped us to adjust the auto feeder clock during the daylight saving time begins on Sunday. It seems like both of our two cats like her very much!”

“Ally did an excellent job caring for our cats while we were away. She wrote detailed reports and posted several pictures that really helped me understand how the cats were doing. Not only did she tend to their basic needs but she tried to coax the older scaredy cat to come to her, and made some progress but respected the cat’s boundaries. Our younger cat warmed up to her and we saw several pictures of the kitty enjoying being petted. Ally cleaned up messes, washed the cat bowls. She really provided us with great piece of mind!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. I’ve had dogs and cats growing up and now own a dog myself. I have many years of experience taking care of animals. Pet care is apart of my everyday life. I have my own dog so she fits into my schedule before and after work and on the weekends! When caring for pets during drop in visits, I do my best to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and secure while you’re not there. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and the care they need during each visit. For dogs, I offer walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of affection. For cats, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and a little playtime. I am also comfortable administering medications. I love keeping pet parents updated, so I provide photos and messages after visits so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and provide reliable, loving care whenever you can’t be there.
“Molly is absolutely amazing with our lab puppy. Worked with us for both weekly drop in visits and helped out on the weekends. Couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter!”
“Valerie cared for our two larger dogs while we were on vacation. She is terrific and I would recommend her to anyone. She really cares about maintaining the pets routine and making them happy. She follows any instructions you provide, shows up on time and is highly communicative. Our dogs are high energy and need structure which she easily handled. She put our minds at ease with her professionalism and love of animals.”

About: Hello, I’d love to help you with your pet needs and give your pets lots of love, potty breaks, exercise and make sure they are cared for, happy and safe when you are not home. I love animals! I’ve had dogs my whole life. I grew up with Chihuahua’s. Our family had several over the years. Then I had a Cockapoo who lived to 16 yrs old, he was sick, but we cared for him and he still lived a long wonderful life! I currently have a 6 year-old chocolate lab named Maggie. She’s super energetic and brings a special love to our home. We also have a new member to our family, a cat named Suma…she’s beautiful and very playful! I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, organized, and helpful. I’m currently available for early morning, drop-in visits, also quick 30 minute lunch break visits and/or anytime after 5pm to care for your pets! I provide reliable, attentive care by following each pet’s routine and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for in their own home.
About: I’ve cared for many dogs in my neighborhood and for family friends since I was 12. I have a lot of experience with small and large dogs. I enjoy walking them and playing with them. I’m a current college student with a very flexible schedule. I’m happy to work with whatever needs you have for your pet in your home. I’m very respectful of others spaces and I’ll clean up messes that may happen inside your home too. I will let you know if anything happens during my time with your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Estates at Faraway Farm. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
