“Melissa was everything we wanted when we were looking for someone to check in on our cat! She came every day, played with our cat, fed her, replenished the water, cleaned the litter, etc. But most importantly, she took the time to get to know our cat and treat her the way she wanted. While we were away, she sent us countless pictures of how our car was doing, and showed us how much care she was giving her. She gave us nice reports on how things were, and she went the extra mile even when we didn't ask, playing for extra time with her, leaving out and changing the toys when she left. Overall, I'd highly recommend Melissa!”

About: My immediate family has been rescuing/fostering animals since before I was born, so I grew up caring for not only our own animals, but bonding with and taking care of our fosters! Very familiar with animals of all ages and am easily able to read their body language. I work full time from home (M-Th 9am-5pm, F 9am-1pm), but can schedule drop ins in the morning or evening. I'm generally available any time on weekends and flexible even for emergency needs/check ins. When doing drop-ins/overnights in clients' homes, I make sure to spend time gaining trust with the pets I'm caring for, plus I like to ask questions to get to know what their specifics pets like and expect so that I'm able to make them feel like they're living as much of a regular day as possible.
