Prior to Katie, Rue would stay at kennels and come home disheveled and typically with kennel cough or some other ailment. When she comes home from staying with Katie, she is in perfect condition, happy, and calm. Katie has been a huge help and such a positive in Rue’s life!”

About: Working as an aupair, all attention is focused on maintaining the well-being and entertainment of children, which would help to provide similar and special care for your pets. I have a lot of free time during the day, both weekdays and weekends. It depends on the week but Im usually always available Saturdays and Sundays. All care needs must be discussed in advance and will mostly depend on the needs of the pets and the resources offered by the family.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs throughout my life, giving me the background I need to properly care for your pet. My parents strongly advocated for me to be responsible for my pet, including feedings, walks and outside activities and keeping both my pet and the areas they spent time in clean and orderly. I try to spent time volunteering at the Humane Society of Macomb whenever I can, which gives me one on one access to a lot of different dogs in very different and sometimes difficult situations. I am currently working full-time as a surgical assistant in Rochester Hills Monday through Friday, but I hope to use my evening and 3 day weekends to easily fit in time for pet care. I find time with the animals cathartic after hectic days in the operatory. I have always treated the pets in my charge, whether my own or someone else’s, as precious because in my opinion, they are the family that loves you unconditionally. I’m the past, I have adjusted how I care for each animal based on the recommendations of the veterinarian, and I can easily adhere to any special requests there might be. I typically keep meals on a schedule, but again I am flexible to the needs of the pet and concerns of the owner. Puppies and dogs being a lot of light and happiness into my my world and I like to try to return the favor to them.I currently live in a ranch style condominium with a gated patio and garage. There is a large park a very short walk from my home which provides multiple trails and different areas to explore. Depending on how the owner feels, I am always open to field trips to other dog parks, beaches or really anywhere that is dog friendly and the pet feels safe and secure.

“Stacey watched my 6 month old puppy Joan for 3 nights, just a week after she was spayed. Joan was not experienced with other dogs and I had terrible anxiety about going away, but needed to for my job. I was able to bring Joan to meet Stacy and her dog Simon beforehand and could tell Simon would be great with her and he absolutely was! They were buddies by day 2! Stacy sent me lots of photos and videos and updates and I was so relieved and able to focus on my work trip. In addition, Stacy being an RN (and checking Joan's stitches), as well as providing her beautiful home instead of going to a big kennel made me feel much more at ease-Joan too, I'm sure!
