About: Hi! I have a 2 year old medium to large sized dog of my own. I have experience with both small and large dogs. When I was living in Texas I volunteered regularly at our local dog shelter and I have fostered and found forever homes for 8 incredible dogs. I unfortunately work in the office, but your pup (and mine) would be left alone for 7 hours max. I use the positive reinforcement method of training. Everyone makes mistakes and dogs are no different! My foster dogs all had basic manners and understood basic commands before moving into their forever homes. Dogs get destructive when bored, so I like to take them on multiple walks a day and keep them both physically and mentally stimulated. I wake up at 6am, let the pups out for the bathroom, go inside for feeding, then back out for 20-30 minutes of exercise. I leave for work around 8:30 and I typically have a friend who comes by midday to let my pup out to potty and play. My roommate is home by 5:30 and would resume care until I’m home around 6. I have a high energy pup so I then exercise him for about an hour in the evening and then we go to bed around 10 or 11! I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for the pups to run around and play. Inside the dogs have free roam, but my own pup sleeps in a crate at night. Whatever works best for your dog is what we’ll do!

About: Over the past couple of decades I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters and more... both as a pet-parent and in a petcare setting. I adore animals - I love the symbiotic relationship we have with our pets... they are as much a support to us and we are to them. I recently lost my 14 year old puggle Charlie, who gave me the most experience of all. I became an expert at training an adoptee, walking a puller (IYKYK), and taking care of a senior pup. I also grew up with cats and have done a great deal of cat-sitting over the years as well. I currently work remotely part-time, so I will have plenty of time to devote to your pet. I go for walks with my kids everyday anyway, so you can bet that I'll be out there with your dog too! I have a fully fenced-in yard and some great neighborhoods for walks. We also have a number of dog parks in the area. I'm obsessive about safety and will go to great lengths to keep your pets safe. I do have two young children... they absolutely adore animals and have grown up with a dog, but they are still high energy so it might not be a great fit if your pet gets overwhelmed easily.

“Carol responded to the call of duty right when I needed her! I recently had surgery this week and overestimated being up for the challenge of healing and watching my pup. I attempted to call local pet hotels, but because my puppy hadn’t been with them before it was impossible to get in at the last minute. Carol not only replied right after I messaged her (at 7 AM in the morning) but she even agreed to meet me somewhere that was closer to my home (due to me healing and not able to be in the car for long) to pick up the pup. I truly recommend Carol and she has been such a lifesaver! She sent me a picture and updates of my pup (he has never been around anyone but myself and my family and this made me feel very at ease) and there were other pups for him to hang out with!
