About: My husband and I are animal husbandry professionals - when we aren't caring for our small zoo of pets, we run a specialty pet supply company, work in veterinary medicine, and foster rescue dogs. My background is in Animal Sciences, with experience working in dog training and socialization, wildlife rehabilitation, foster and rescue for dogs, cats, and everything else. My true specialty is pet African hedgehogs, but we share our home with all sorts of invertebrates, reptiles, and more. As a small business owner, I set my own schedule! Coordinating animal care is my top priority, and everything else fits around that. I usually split my time working from home and working at my pet-friendly office, which is only 3 min away. For the safety of my pets and yours, any dog boarding with us must be kennel-trained for any time we aren't there to supervise. We have 2 resident dogs who love welcoming foster and boarding dogs over! We also have 2 resident cats who love dogs, but have their own room in case our guests aren't cat-friendly. We have a 6' wood privacy fenced yard and lots of couch space to snuggle. Our goal with any dog staying with us is to make it feel like they're getting to vacation with a friend - not just "going to boarding."
