About: I grew up in a house filled with all sorts of pets! From dogs to turtles to lizards and cats!I personally have two large breed dogs and two rambunctious cats! I am their main caregiver and love to play and care for them and all their individual needs. I am a stay at home mom who loves animals and I have a very flexible schedule. I am available days, nights and weekends. I am also available for multiple visits a day. I have a fully fenced yard with two dogs who love to play. We also have two animal loving children and two sweet kitty cats.

About: Dogs have been part of my family for many years. I’ve always have interest in all animals, and my professional experience has been on the animal training field, so I have a good understanding of animal behavior. Lately, I have been pet sitting dogs and cats, and my favorite activity is taking the dogs for a hike or play at the beach. Love to see them having fun while they explore! I currently have a flexible schedule. Will love to take your dog for walks at the beach or hiking, or if you prefer, just stay at home, with lots of attention and playtime. I have a year old Golden Retriever that is very welcoming and loves to play with other dogs, they can come in and out of the house, I have a fenced yard. The rest of the family will give your pet lots of love and attention.

“My dogs have a lot of health issues and get very anxious when I am not around, for these reasons I do my best to avoid traveling. However, I recently took a position at work where traveling is mandatory. I had huge concerns about leaving my dogs, Rosie and Scout, but I was forced to figure out a plan for them while I was traveling. I looked at various dog boarding kennels, but had major reservations about them - would they take good care of my babies? Would they notice if they were scared and tend to them? Was it a job for them, or did they really love animals, dogs? Was the facility clean enough for them? Etc. That is when a friend recommended I look into a private service to watch my dogs - and thank goodness I stumbled upon Marie. After reading her profile, I knew I felt good about hiring her to watch my babies. I met with her, and brought Rosie and Scout, and it could not have gone better. Normally when my dogs meet someone new, they are friendly and nice, but they tend to stick by my side. Well, when I met Marie - BOTH of my dogs literally ran to her as if they knew her!!! It was the craziest thing I had ever experienced. I didn’t even need to talk with her after that - she was hired! Actually, it was so crazy I thought she must have had a treat tucked in her pocket, but she didn’t - it was just her they ran to. She has watched my dogs four times now and every time I pick them up, they look physically healthier and happier than when I dropped them off. She is so great with animals, her husband is a doll as well. If I searched the entire world - I would not be able to find a better dog sitter than Marie. As she states in her profile, she truly is a “dog whisperer”. I recommend her without reservation. She is incredible!”

I have watched big dogs to little dogs, High energy pups to slow, geriatric cats and dogs, birds, fish and even geckos!
