About: Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a passion for animals, specifically dogs. Since I was never allowed to own one as a kid, I’ve treated friends’ and family dogs as my own. I have extensive experience working with pets, including part-time dog walking, pet sitting for my aunt’s 4 cats. I also have experience working as a Certified Veterinary Technician in small animal hospitals, including Angell in Boston, over the past few years. I’m always punctual, detail oriented, reliable, and a team player at heart! I’m currently available Monday-Friday for daytime walks, pet sitting, and drop in visits as needed. I’m flexible on my availability, but I would prefer to work morning to late afternoon shifts. I’m also available on occasional weekends to walk your furry friend or pet sit at clients’ homes. I am also available to do overnight stays occasionally. In a client’s home, I help nurture the environment the pet is accustomed to, using familiar toys to play with dogs or cats. I also pay close attention to feeding schedules through out the day and ensure there is plenty of time to spend outdoors in the backyard for fresh air, bathroom breaks and more play time (frisbee, fetch with tennis balls, etc.)
16. Jennifer P.
“Jennifer was a great sitter, she clearly loves animals and is very good with them, even our somewhat snarly rescue dogs! She bonded with the dogs after a day or two, and they seemed happy on our return. Communication and responsiveness was great, reliability awesome. What more could you ask for?”
17. Lily B.
About: I love dogs and have two of my own, one of which has a seizure disorder so I have experience with medication and health issues with dogs. I love spending my time with animals, especially cuddly ones!! I am working in the Shirley, MA area, as well as the Plymouth/Sagamore, MA area throughout the summer. I have lots of time, all the time. I am a college student and don't have a job, so this would be a full commitment. I will walk, feed, play with and keep pets company in general. With my own dogs I have lots of time in the day to spend with and play with them. I have lots of experience in dealing with dogs who have seizures, and or need special attention and care. I also have experience in administering oral medication.
18. Lily & Eric W.
“Lily is fantastic! She has been doing drop-ins for our 7 month old pup Rosie. She ensures that Rosie gets much play time in as evidenced by the pictures she sends us! She will go above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet. She is responsive and kind. It's clear that Rosie really likes her and so do we!!”
