“Ashleigh and John were great! They were available last minute for a meet and greet with a drop in visit the following day. They communicated very well. They visited for a drop in where they took my Maxey on a nice long walk and then fed him dinner. They provided photos and a summary after their visit where they included that Maxey got in quite a dirty puddle with his front paws. They took time to clean his paws before feeding him which was so nice. I coincidentally checked my camera in my house as they were leaving and fed him dinner. I watched them say goodbye to him and pet him with love like a parent does. He looked so happy in all of the photos they sent! Very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them!”

“Malia has been doing 60 min drop-ins for us since the beginning of February 3x week & we have been singing her praises ever since. It wasn't necessarily the easiest gig in the beginning as our 2.5 year old pit mix is nervous with new people & this was a major change in his routine. He requires patience with someone who understands dog language & is willing to work with him on his level. She took her time with him & followed our directions. They play games & he loves this new routine with his new best friend! Our Arlo boy still gets his evening hikes after work but we are so grateful for her mid-day visits knowing he's getting the proper mental stimulation & exercise a young dog deserves. He's adapted to our new schedule quite well & Malia has been a big contributor to his progress & success! She is extremely reliable & an excellent communicator. She is attentive & takes lots of pictures which we appreciate more than we could ever fully express with words. Thank you Malia!”

About: I’m a teacher with limited availability during the school year. I would be happy to sit during the weekends! I’ve cared for animals since I was little. Our family trained two herding dogs from puppies, and had multiple cats. I’ve bathed, given medication and given them exercise on a regular basis, including long walks, runs or playing at the park. I also cared for the senior dog as he aged. Currently, I own two cats. I am a teacher, and have extreme flexibility with my schedule over the summer. During the school year I am available on weekends and some evenings. I will greet your pets with enthusiasm and love. I will make sure all entries are closed and locked for the safety of your pets and home. I will clean up any messes and ensure your pets are well cared for.

This includes feeding schedules, walk times, favorite toys, or if they like to watch a specific show while napping on the couch. If I am in your home, I will keep things tidy, respect your personal privacy, and send regular photo updates so you know your pet is happy and cared for. In my homes I create a cozy, pet-friendly space. I tailor to their personality - whether they’re energetic, shy, or somewhat in between!
