About: I was raised in a family of animal lovers and helped to care for at least one family pup at all times. From my grandma's cat filled house to my own dogs, I have always been surrounded by a variety of furry friends so I'm very comfortable and experienced with caring for them. I began pet-sitting for neighbors as soon as I got into high school, and I'm very excited to meet some new furry friends! As a second year student at the University of Virginia, I've got a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care! My classes are mostly in the mornings, so I'm available for dog-sitting in the afternoons and evenings. Weekends are completely free for me, which means I can provide consistent and attentive care for your furry friends, ensuring they get plenty of playtime, walks, and attention while you're away! Since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow animals, I don't offer in-home pet care services. Instead, I provide dedicated pet care at your convenience! I also maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs, ensuring your furry friend receives the best care possible in a familiar environment. Your pet's well-being is my top priority!

She is a very responsible caregiver and I could tell that Maggie felt very comfortable with her. I had several people checking in on Maggie due to scheduling conflicts and Lindy was supposed to be a "fill in" for us. I totally messed up the schedule and Lindy graciously covered my gaps. About: I’ve taken care of small to medium sized dogs, fish, and cats since I was 15 years old. I have also taken care of reptiles for my friend. I focus on making sure that pets are clean, fed, happy, and healthy. I grew up with several cats, a fish, and one dog over the years. I am free on weekends all day and 7pm-9pm on weekdays. I work 7am-6pm M-F at my other job. I will always make time to get your pet the care it needs. When I come over to check on your pet I check food, water, litter, and any medications. I also make time for walks, pets, and play. I like to give your fur baby the attention they need. I clean up any messes I find when I pet sit so you don’t have to.

I specialize in puppy socialization and creative enrichment. I do currently work a part-time job, but have flexibility for mid-day potty breaks. I am off early on Wednesdays and Fridays, and all weekend! I am able to spend most of my time off caring for your pets with minimal interruptions or coming and going. We are currently in the process of moving and updating business requirements accordingly, so in-home boarding is very limited. For in-home sitting, I aim to leave each home cleaner than I arrived. I utilize a secure lockbox for key management. I commute frequently with pet parents with a lot of pictures and videos!!

I drive for Instacart & Amazon part time, so I may be gone for 3-5 hours some days; I will discuss my schedule ahead of time and let you know any time planned to be away. I am 100% comfortable with watching older pups too as long as there is no serious health issues. I will provide any exercise or administer any medication (non-injected) as needed 😊 I would love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pets! In-house sitting is ideal for any pets that have a set schedule and will help keep them comfortable in an environment they are used to. I have a very strict schedule with my dogs at home and am used to following a schedule. There is a possibility I can be gone for 3-5 hours a day if your pets are okay with being alone for that long. I always ask that you leave me detailed instructions on feeding/care guidelines for your pets and we will discuss care during required meet & greet. If your house does not have a fenced in yard, I am fine with walking your dog on a leash. *Warning: I will NOT walk your dog off a leash even if you tell me your dog is well mannered off a leash. You MUST leave me a leash if you do not have a fence.*

About: I’m an experienced pet sitter willing to care for your pets when you’re unable to. Mature and patient, I am an adult who is reliable and provides attention to detail when caring for your pet. I have lived in Gordonsville for 40+ years and had cats and dogs throughout this time. Prior to providing boarding or pet/house sitting service, I will meet with you and your pet to understand your needs and ensure a good fit for all. I will only board one pet at my house at a time to ensure he/she has a comfortable environment. For day and overnight care, I will provide meticulous notes and/or text messages about feeding, potty breaks, etc. I have experience administering medicine as well as pet/house sitting for multiple pets (up to 20) at the same time. An additional $5 will be added for each drop in visit and walking service, if more than 10 miles from my home. I work from home and have a family of four so someone is almost always home. I try to keep the same routine for your pet as they experience at home. I will take care of your four legged family members like they are my own and provide ongoing text updates and photos throughout their stay.

About: Animal care is my career, not my hobby or source of extra income. I have experience house-sitting and providing in-home care for pets as well as experience working in shelters, kennels, and boarding facilities. I am experienced with medication administration including injectable medications. I am comfortable working with reactive cats and dogs. Please contact me about a free meet and greet in your home -- I would love to meet your pet! Pet care comes first always! My own pup goes out 3x per day so I generally like to be able to leave a dog alone for up to 2 hours so I can go home and let my pup out but my fiancee can usually help out and we might be able to make something work if you need me to be with your dog all the time. It would require a higher fee because I wouldn't be able to accept other bookings during that time. At this point in time I do not offer to care for pets in my home. All drop-in visits will take place at the client's home.

About: I have experience with all dogs and grew up working on a farm, caring for an array of livestock to include chickens, goats/sheep, alpacas/llamas, and two sheepdogs. I am willing to feed & care for any other farm animals or exotic pets if requested. I came from a big cat loving family, and would love to come love on yours. I currently work from home which affords me the ability to be pretty flexible with times of days and last minute bookings. If I’m a not available for some dates, please reach out to me to discuss. I can create your fur baby at night or provide a dog bed. I do allowed fur babies to sleep in the bed only with fur parents permission. My fur babies are not snugglers so they choose to sleep on their dog beds.

About: Left my career in veterinary medicine to be a stay at home mom currently. I am available to care for all types of pets and livestock. My experience in the clinic allows me to medicate and take care of special cases safely, leaving you worry free while you are away from your fur baby. From growing up on a farm to fostering for local rescues I am comfortable caring for the tiniest kittens all the way up to 150 pound dogs and even farm animals. In nice weather I am available to take active dogs on local trails for hikes or just assist your senior dog on a quick potty break,whichever suits your need best! About: Hello, I’m Dani, and I love all animals! I have adopted multiple pets of my own from SPCAs. I personally have owned lots of dogs and cats, a few fish, a hedgehog, a turtle, and hamsters. I believe that every animal deserves lots of love and a caring, warm home! I promise to always give my best to your fur (or non-fur) babies and keep them in good hands while you’re away. It’s important for you and your pet to be comfortable with who is taking care of them. I’m comfortable with all ages and sizes of dogs! I’m pretty strong for a woman and have been able to handle all breeds. I am available on the weekends and weekdays. Mornings and evenings before and after work! I can be flexible and work around both of our schedules to see what fits for us both. I work at a spa and a restaurant so my shifts at both places vary greatly. Weekends are usually a 9am-5pm at the spa, but weekday shifts are typically no longer than 6 hours. Pets are always in the best care with me. My own pets even sleep with me and I love pet cuddles! I can be flexible to do whatever you need me to do! I can feed, water, walk, play, and bathe your dog! I’d love to become besties with your pet! About: I have had dogs my whole life. To me, they have always been a part of the family. I know how difficult it is to leave your pets in the care of others. I have used Rover before for my own pets and it made me realize I wanted to be that trusted caretaker for other owners. I'm a stay at home mom so during the school year I am available from 9AM-2PM and generally all day on the weekends. During the summer my hours are more limited to evenings and weekends. Walks will be provided from the clients' home. I love to bring treats for encouragement and go at the dog's pace, whatever that may be.
