“Alona did a wonderful job taking care of our cat Fudge while we were away for four days! Fudge is usually shy and it takes him a while to warm up to new people, but he warmed up to Alona right away. She spent extra time playing with him and was diligent about making sure he had plenty of food and water. She sent updates with adorable photos throughout our trip. I will definitely ask her to watch Fudge again!”

“Austen was great and usual! The cats were reluctant to go outside the barn due to the freezing weather. They always perk up when Austen drops in. They really appreciate the extra love Austen gives them.”

“She was very comfortable with my rambunctious Aussies, they seem to accept her and like her. She was not intimidated by their aggressive sounding bark and type of play. She is knowledgeable about the breed and their energy level. I will request her again.”

“Megan did a fine job sitting our Bengal cat. She showed up early and gave Sidd extra time. She played with Sidd to stimulate her appetite and break her loneliness while we were gone. Megan followed our instructions and we returned to a healthy, happy kitty.”

“Erin was absolutely fantastic with our Boston Terriers! She kept us in the loop with updates, lots of adorable photos, and hilarious notes about their antics. We genuinely looked forward to her messages! It was clear our dogs enjoyed their time with her, and she consistently went above and beyond our expectations. Erin is a true gem, and we'll definitely be rebooking!”

“We are glad we chose to have Heather care for our senior kitty this past weekend. Her approach to offering services through Rover was very professional. She did everything we asked, was attentive to his needs and sent lots of pictures and details about her visits with him. We plan to reach out to her for future sitter needs.”

About: I'm a veterinary professional of 5 years, so I absolutely adore spending time with dogs of all sizes and personality. One of my dogs, Shay is a rescue, with all of the baggage that can come with that. Because of his issues and the progress he's made, I feel comfortable working with dogs with behavioral problems if that meets your needs. If your dog has issues with pulling, reactivity or is incredibly timid, I'm happy to handle that and help work through their issues if needed. If there is some level of aggression we'd need to talk through safety measures before hand but I'd love to work something out to help your kiddo as well. I don't believe in bad dogs, just dogs who need some additional patience and understanding to help them feel safe in the world. I'm finishing up a certification as a professional dog trainer (Family Dog Mediator) and really would just love the opportunity to enrich your dog's life during every visit. I believe in engaging with each animal on a holistic level, not just on the physical. I think this is where the magic happens on a walk, when they can build a relationship with the person with them, not just exploring the world around them. It's about that balance and acknowledging them as a whole being. I look forward to hearing from you. Bye for now! I currently work a flexible schedule from home. Having opportunities to get out of the house are exactly what I need to keep my brain sharp My preference is to keep your pets in or near your home where they're most comfortable. One of my dogs is fearful of strangers, so for your baby's safety they will never meet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 12 years including my own and those of family and friends. I currently have 2 dogs with varying health needs who require a lot of love and attention, so I’m very comfortable meeting any needs your pet may have. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, medication administration, specialized diets, varying exercise needs, reactive dogs, and some experience with dogs undergoing training programs. I am currently a graduate student so I’ll have plenty of time throughout the day to care for your pet. I am available week days and weekends. I don’t offer boarding but I am happy to comply with any requests you have including crating, several walks daily, yard play, in-house rules, or taking your fur baby to a local park. My own dogs are big cuddlers so I have no issue if your pet likes a little extra attention. You and your pet’s comfort is my priority.

“Pam was our first Rover pet sitter. She came over to visit for a meet & greet, which was helpful and reassuring. Great experience all around. Highly recommended!”

“We appreciated Emma so much! She kept us informed while she was visiting, added a lot of easy to my mind knowing my pups were well cared for.”

“Taylor is AMAZING. Our goofy doggie, Marigold, and high maintenance queen, Luna kitty, LOVE her. Taylor is very attentive to their needs and spends time playing with them and giving plenty of snuggles & pets. She has been a lifesaver for this fur baby mama. I'm so grateful we found her!”

“Thank you so much for the care!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of all sizes for as long as I can remember! I have also had a special love for every animal since I was born. I am currently in school to become a veterinary. I am super excited to meet all the cute pet faces and give them lots of love! I am currently in school so I will have lots of time to play with your pups! I am free almost everyday and willing to work around what ever schedule you may have! I am currently not offering boarding at my house but I am very respectful of other peoples homes. I know it’s hard to trust people with you’re fur baby’s but I will treat them with the love and respect I treat my own!

“Pakuna was super reliable and kind to my cats and dogs. She sent regular updates and pictures. Extremely trustworthy, dependable, sweet, and most importantly kind and competent with animals. Pakuna is highly recommended. I wish I could give more than 5 stars ✨⭐🌟✨”

“Jane was amazing! She was very flexible, communicative and available for any problems that arose. She did a great job watching my 2 cats and making sure they had enough food, water, and pets. I definitely recommend her!!!”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. Thank you, Mickenzie!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, including both cats and dogs, all of whom lived long, happy, and well-loved lives. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends, neighbors, and family — often being their first choice for long vacations or weekends away. I’ve provided care for a wide range of pets, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a gentler routine. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, taking dogs on daily walks, cleaning up after pets, and giving them lots of attention and affection to ensure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I genuinely love spending time with animals — whether it’s tossing a ball around in the yard, relaxing with a timid cat, or keeping a consistent routine that helps pets feel secure. I always treat the pets I care for as if they were my own, as I know firsthand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their animals are in good hands. What sets me apart is the level of trust I’ve earned from the people I’ve worked with, my calm and attentive nature, and my genuine love for animals of all personalities and temperaments. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to adapt to your pet’s unique needs and quirks:) I'm currently solely picking up shifts as needed at my workplace (often from 4pm-8) , so I'll have plenty of flexibility and be able to ensure quality time with your pets:) I prioritize a safe, loving environment where your pet is treated with the same care and affection you would give them yourself, so you can feel complete peace of mind while you're away.

About: Hey pet parent! My name is Jessica. I'm here to be your pets new best friend. I have over 20 years experience caring for pets of all kind - including 4 years as a professional pet sitter. In addition to professional pet care, I have years of experience caring for my own personal pets and dog training! I am experienced in administering medication including insulin for our diabetic friends. I will be available to care for your pets 7 days a week from 8 am - 10 am then evening visits from 3pm-7 pm. If you require a third visit, that can be discussed. My background in Law Enforcement and the Military plus years of professional pet care allow me a keen insight when caring for your pets and your home. As I did with my business, I include a security check of your home at every visit. This security check includes checking all doors and windows to ensure they are locked, checking all faucets to ensure the water was shut off. Please note: this does not include any doors that are closed when I arrive. As a way to protect your privacy, if any doors are closed when I arrive they will stay closed. In addition to this, I do require a consultation or meet and greet a minimum of 4 days before booking. As Rover doesn’t have a specified service for a meet and greet, we will schedule this at a time convenient for both. Meet and greets available Monday-Friday 8 am- 12 pm.

“I 100% recommend Anna! We had just moved here and one of our three dogs was having a really hard time, was stressed, and regressed in his training. We had two days a week we would both be gone for 12-ish hours and needed someone to come potty break the dogs twice a day - but our scared baby struggles with meeting new people. Anna was so awesome , she interacted with him beautifully, followed our training processes we were working on, and really won him over. She was willing to come do multiple (paid) meet and greets and in person walks with us until he was ready to work with her. She kept us 100% updated on his progress and handled our other pets beautifully as well. We are sadly moving out of her working zone but think she is awesome!”
