“Danielle really came through for me at the last minute, I'm so grateful! She was very kind and attentive with my dog, Esther, sending adorable pics and updates. Esther is an anxious girl, but she seemed to relax in Danielle's home, it really put me at ease. Thank you again!”

“Buddy was safe and well cared for. Buddy has never been away from me since I got him. I LOVED the pictures and up dates. I didn't worry at all. When I picked Buddy up he was happy and looked great. Thank you Diana you did an outstanding job I will be using you again.”

“This is the second time we’ve left Nalu with her for a long period of time. She communicates well and sends videos and pictures throughout the stay! He came home so happy and I was at peace knowing he was well taken care of!”

“She took wonderful care of my dog, who can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, and handled her with patience and kindness. I received many photos showing my dog happy, comfortable, and enjoying time with her loving family, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear my dog was being treated like part of the family, not just being watched. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to care for their pet.”

“Left my golden Charlie with Jade for a few days and he had the best time playing with her pups and running around her huge yard. She was very communicative and sent video and pics every day. I will definitely go back to her in the future.”

“Brodie had a great time during his stay with Tania. He got along well with her pooch(es), played hard and is now resting hard! Tania provided regular updates and gave Brodie the attention he needed to enjoy his stay!”

“Phillip was agreeable to a meet up and was waiting for us with treats, which I appreciated. He communicated clearly and asked about my dog’s needs. His hours are flexible. Drop off and pick up were seamless. During my dog’s stay he messaged me the first night and by day 3 I hadn’t received any updates, so I texted him. From then on he updated me every 2-3 days unless I reached out earlier. Received a few pictures of my dog the first week, which increased after I requested more. Phillip was receptive of my requests. My dog got home in good shape.”

“Dave and Daniel were wonderful with our Pomeranian Skyla. She’s animated and spirited, some might say a strong personality. She often, perhaps too often, wants her own way, but apparently Dave and Daniel were able to deal with this, and all parties seemed to have a great experience. What we do know for sure is that our little girl came home healthy and happy. What more can you ask for? We couldn’t be more pleased. We will definitely be bringing her back to her home away from home.”

“Looking for an awesome vacation spot for your pup? This is it! Our pup, Bennett, is shy and cautious in unfamiliar environments and this was his first overnight stay away from us. Clay and Tawna truly understand pups and were patient and accommodating as he adjusted. He came home relaxed and happy after all the running and playing he got to do! We’ve already booked his next stay!! Highly recommend for any pup!!!”

“Mickenzie is wonderful. Good communication, responds in a timely manner. Her home is well kept and tidy and I appreciate the efforts she makes to keep germs from spreading as I have a young puppy. Would recommend her!”

“Michael did a great job with Kermit. He is compassionate and contacted us with concerns. Kermit was treated like part of the family. Frequent photos were really appreciated.”

“My beagle stayed with Madlin for 4 days, had an issue with another arrangement while I was out of town and Madlin was able to handle everything (picked up my dog and helped both my beagle's stress and my own with great communication). She was a life saver for me and my dog loved her, would recommend her to anyone in the Salem area.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Angelica and Bruce were lovely and looked after Sadie with exceptional care - not sure my dog wanted to come home! They have a well-thought care plan, sent updates, and easily adjusted to my schedule. Sadie’s new home away from home!”

“Christina was fantastic! We're from CA and have 2 border collies that we needed to have someone babysit for 2 nights while we were in the area. Luckily we happened to see her listing. This was the first time they've ever spent time somewhere else. Her updates and pics definitely set my husband at ease. We highly recommend her!”

“Jennifer was excellent at watching my german sheperd dog for a few days while I was out of state! She sent pictures and gave consistent updates on how my dog was doing. My dog, Ellie, had a great time and was right at home!”

“Gayle is the absolute best! She sends lots of update, pictures and videos and is very flexible with owner’s needs. My dog is so excited to see Gayle and her dog Sitka, he just runs in her house, he doesn’t even look back to say bye to me 😢🤩😊.”
“Zuri is absolutely fantastic! My mini schnauzer had a blast and made friends with her dog kids. She is incredibly attentive and genuinely loving. She’s the only dog sitter I will use now! If I could give 10 stars I would.”

“Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”

“Kayla was the absolute BEST! She is so thoughtful and caring and went the extra mile to take care of our two cats while we were on vacation. We very much appreciated her great communication. We will definitely call on her again when we need a wonderful cat sitter!”

“Upon meeting Kelly we knew our girl was in good hands for the week she emits a calm friendly aura with a trusting attitude that we knew Moon would appreciate. This was our first experience with the service and took us a few tries to find someone but who we got was stellar. Kelly leaves informative well documented visits that are detailed with love and care we hope she is available for our future bookings. Thank you so much again we can’t say enough good things.”

“Stephanie was very communicative with me while we were away and went above and beyond! The comfort of knowing our babies are being well taken care of while we’re gone means so much to us!”

“Alexis went above and beyond to take care of my cat and even took out the trash for me since I was gone for trash day. She was so nice and professional and made sure my vacation was worry free.”

“Benjamin did an amazing job taking care of my 18-year-old cat Buster. He went over and above with his care of Buster , who needs medication for thyroid twice a day. He spent time with him, sent me lots of pictures and kept me up-to-date with everything that was happening. I recommend him without any hesitation at all. Thank you, Benjamin.”

About: I've taken care of several types of dogs. Growing up we had a chihuahua and I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and I played a lot with him. I also pet sit my friends two labradoodles and was responsible for feeding, playing, and just watching the house for most of the day. I also had a cat and was responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning litter, and helping apply ear mite medicine when she had them. I'm currently working part time as an instructional assistant through edustaff so my schedule fluctuates depending on when I can get myself scheduled to work. I have always cared for my pets so that they feel safe and loved. I make sure that the pets are happy and feel able to play.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals for over 5 years and have hands-on experience with large breeds, working dogs, reactive dogs, and high-energy personalities. I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I’m comfortable with crate routines, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, long walks, litter box care, feeding routines, and reading animal body language. My professional background in high-stress environments has also made me calm, dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative. I know how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone else, and I treat every animal like they’re my own.

About: I specialize in caring for senior, sensitive, and formerly stray cats. I understand how important routine, consistency, and a calm environment are, and I prioritize communication and detailed updates so you feel completely at ease.

About: I really love getting to know each cat’s personality. Some cats are playful and social, some are shy and independent, and I’m happy to go at their pace. I have my own cat, Mango, so I’m very used to daily cat care like feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, treats, and paying attention to little changes in behavior. I’m patient, gentle, and truly enjoy making cats feel safe and comfortable while their people are away.
About: Extensive experience in puppy care and senior/special needs animal care spans several years. I have supervised the upbringing and development of puppies, including providing assistance with medication administration and potty training. Additionally, I have supported the medication regimen and physical therapy for senior and special needs dogs. My overall experience in puppy/dog care spans seven years, and I have had dogs as companions throughout my life. Currently working Monday - Friday, free after 3:30 weekdays for boarding of sitting in the evenings. Weekends open all day for boarding or sitting as well. Pet care fits well into current schedule with our own dogs; scheduled activities during the week but open for adventures on the weekend. Large backyard on a quiet street; lots of room for walks to local parks or fetch in the yard. House is stair free for elderly or dogs with medical restrictions. Adaptable to any situation as needed!
About: I have grown up caring for all kinds of animals. I have the most experience with dogs, and small animals. Most of my family pets I provided main care for. Because of this I have grown a stronger sense of patience for pets, and have learned what will help them be more successful in their day as well as mine. I still am happy to learn more about the pets individual personality, and earning their trust. Though it is not my main career path it is something I am very passionate about. I volunteered at humane societies in my past free time. Though it is not something I can continue, I hope to make up for it by working with other pet owners. Thank you I currently work from home, though it is a part time job. Walks can be done 24/7 for whatever the pet may find necessary. Pets are considered in every part of the day from walks to the trash bins and fetching mail, to meal times and what is comfortable and safe. Born and raised in here in Salem, OR. My home is in a park filled neighborhood, with many walkable paths! A large, shade filled backyard.

About: I have had a love for dogs since I was a child. I was the kid who used to knock on doors in the neighborhood asking if I could play with their dogs as I couldn't have my own at the time. Since then I have become a life-long "dog-mom" with over 20 years of loving care given to my own dogs (and cats and horses and goats). I have worked in a veterinary hospital where I learned a lot about caring for the canines and during that time I also had my own business as a Puppy Kindergarten instructor. I have managed an animal shelter, working closely with rescue organizations and all of the dogs I have had were either strays or rescues. One of the strays that came into my life was Dekes and we got involved with "Dock Dogs" with his best jump being 24' 4". Unfortunately I also had to nurse all my dogs through their old age, cancer and various other ailments and find myself currently without a dog to spoil. I would love to take care of yours as I miss having those cold noses and fur balls in my life. Please know that my schedule with my job is such that I work both from home and in the office throughout the week. I am blessed to have a fairly flexible work schedule but would not be able to be in your home with your dog during work hours. Though I do have a full time job, I am fortunate to have a fairly flexible schedule. And on the weekends its just me as I dont have children. I would be extremely safe with your pet and make sure that at all times they are supervised when with me. I have a fenced yard myself and may be able to have them with me during the days I work from home.
“Stacy was FANTASTIC! So great we rebooked for later this month. Our cat Willie was treated so nicely and she had a kitty of her own that played with Will. It was such a relief he was being well cared for.”

About: Hello! I am an experienced dog trainer and currently own my own dog training business. I’m a force free, fear free dog trainer, and have over 500 hours of behavior modification experience. I can take anything from the most friendly puppy to a fearful pup who needs time and care to adjust. I’m certified and only use the most up to date modern training techniques! I am on the board of a local rescue and a behavior consultant for a cattle dog rescue and regularly foster when I have an open space. I live on a half acre, fully fenced, and have a mother-in-law suite, fully furnished and temperature controlled. I do have dogs of my own, but do have the ability to separate my guests if they’re not so keen on other dogs. I have a soft spot for shy or fearful dogs looking to build their confidence or a working breed dog looking for a mental outlet through games and play. I’d love the opportunity to take your dog on a walk, sniffari, dog parkour, or whatever the day brings us. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions! I own my own dog training business so I’m in and out of the house nearly all day. I have the ability to stop in and let the dogs out, go on an adventure, etc every 2-3 hours during the day and have relatively free weekends and evenings that I use to spend with my dogs in my care. I live in a house surrounded by farmland, which makes a great environment for nearly any dog. I live on a half acre, fully fenced, with lots of toys and activities. I also have a mother-in-law suite that’s fully furnished (even with a tv with Netflix) and temperature controlled. I provide a fear free environment and take greetings at the dog’s pace. They can be completely separate from my dogs, or we can integrate everyone if your dog is dog friendly.

I’m currently job hunting so I have plenty of time to watch and help care for your doggies while also giving them daily walks! About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.
“Diana D. was so accommodating to take my little Harley at such short notice. When I came back to pick him up she shared with me some simple ways to help him feel more confident. Diana sent pictures throughout the day as well, which helped me get the a long meeting. Thank you again Diana.”

“I have a Great Dane puppy that has stayed with Laura and her husband several times and they have always taken excellent care of him. Laura always sends me pictures pictures during his stay. They have a labrador named Riley, and my puppy just loves him to pieces. I am leaving the country for a week next month and my puppy will be boarded with Laura. I have ZERO concerns leaving him there as I know he will be in great hands. If you need a sitter or a place to board your dog, I highly, highly recommend them! ”

“I scheduled a first visit to meet Shauna and make sure our pup was a good fit. Shauna is great at communicating. She messaged prior to the visit to confirm, and helped me understand the process when I booked. My pup was still a bit nervous, so I didn’t leave her there, but Shauna was very kind, and tried to help her feel comfortable.”

“Callie had an absolute blast! I appreciate the communication and updates! Gayle and her family are very friendly and took great care of Callie. I can’t wait to book again so she gets used to being in a new space! Thanks again , she is wore out! 🤗😴”

About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.
“Kyra has been so wonderful to work with training our 1 year old! I can tell she genuinely cares about his development and well being. She is very responsive and flexible. We look forward to continuing having her and her pups be a part of our dog’s life.”

“Amazing experience!!! This was the first time we had ever used Rover or had a dog sitter, so I was a bit worried. Remo is a 4 month old puppy and very mischievous. Zuri sent texts, photos and videos, so I could see what a great time Remo was having at her home. I would definitely book again with Zuri and totally have piece of mind that Remo is in good hands.”

“Jennifer and her family could not have been better to our pups. I wouldn't want them to be with anyone else. From early mornings to late nights.... Rebel and Dax will miss you guys!”

“Tess was available with short notice. She was able to wrangle my energetic dogs through their first babysitting experience. They were with her for a couple of hours and were extremely comfortable. Thanks, Tess!”

“Best day ever . Shes a great sitter and he had so much fun . He's only four months old 70 lbs, never been around other dogs and she was able to get him acquainted and He made new friends, and she was definitely capable of handling a new excited Dog, meeting other dogs. If I ever come up here again, I will be using her every time.”

“This was my first time using Tawyna & John P "Clay" for doggy day care, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Clay was professional from the start and always prompt in responding to my questions, which I really appreciated. When we arrived, he took the time to give me a tour and patiently answered all of my questions. The multiple levels of fenced kennel runs with bark chips were very well done, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing that both of my Weimaraners were safe and secure. Most importantly, my dogs had a great time! They came home happy and happily worn out at the end of the day, which says everything. I’m so thankful for the care Clay provided and would absolutely recommend him to others looking for a safe, well-run place for their dogs.”

“I used Maylie for day boarding and some overnights for just over a month straight. I have two dogs and they LOVED hanging out with her. She was great at communicating and checking in about things she wasn't sure about my particular dogs and I could always reach her to check in! I would absolutely use her again if I needed to board my dogs”

“I can’t say enough good things about Erin!!. From the very beginning, it’s been clear that she truly cares :) Not just about doing the job, but about Otis as an individual. You can tell she pays attention to his personality, his energy, and what he needs that day. Otis absolutely adores her, and as a dog parent, that means everything to me. I always feel at ease knowing he’s with someone who is kind, patient, and genuinely loving toward him. She goes above and beyond, and it shows in how happy and comfortable he is after every walk. If you’re looking for someone who treats your dog like their own and leads with kindness and care, I couldn’t recommend her more.”

I am respectful of other spaces! I like to stay occupied and am willing to go on adventures with your fur baby! I am full of love to give for animals. My full time job is caregiving so I’m the kind of person to place others needs before my own, but I do prioritize my health so I’m always in tip top shape for whoever/whatever needs my attention!
About: I’ve had dogs of my own and been around other’s dogs for my entire life! I’m very comfortable around all kinds of pets, and I really enjoy spending time with them. My goal is not to make money! it is a nice bonus but I’m mainly focused on meeting new furry friends and giving them the care they deserve. Plus, walks are a good way to stay active!! I’m currently a college student, but my schedule is very flexible. The only times I’m unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30-11:20 and 2:30-4:20. When taking care of your pet, I will be very respectful of your home; Only hanging where I need to be and leaving things better than I found them. Your pet will have my full attention for the visit and I’ll make sure they don’t get up to any silly business:)
“Grady lloves her! Sweet, hard working, and dedicated young lady. Very communicative which I greatly appreciated. Also gets the CUTEST stinkin' pictures ever! (Photography future?? ;) ) Would definitely book with her again.”

“Stacy is amazing!! I would recommend her to anyone. She took my puppy to the dog park for me and he warmed up to her quickly. Easy to communicate with and I will keep rebooking with her 😊”

“Steven and his partner were great with Parker (who can definitely be a handful at times) but they said he did awesome during his stay. Parker had so much fun with them and his two dogs Shasta and Jasper. They even took videos and photos for me to see how he was doing. Parker didn't want to leave he loved them and I'm sure he had so much fun while I was away. 10/10 recommend and will definitely use them again anytime I need a sitter for Parker in the future.”

“My wife and I were very blessed to find Arturo. Arturo and his family provided a very safe and loving environment for our fur baby (Piper-Jazz). From the moment they greated us we (including Piper-Jazz) felt entirely at peace. Knowing our fur baby was in safe and loving hands during our 10 day trip helped my wife and I to relax and enjoy our time together—what a great gift. We highly recommend Arturo and we rate him and his home a 10 out of 10. I think Piper-Jazz actually misses Arturo and his family. 😊 💯”

“Gayle is the absolute best! She sends lots of update, pictures and videos and is very flexible with owner’s needs. My dog is so excited to see Gayle and her dog Sitka, he just runs in her house, he doesn’t even look back to say bye to me 😢🤩😊.”
