I don’t even LIVE in Delaware, but I attended my brother’s wedding there, and she literally SAVED MY LIFE at the last moment, and babysat my pup BLUE at the last minute! I reached out to her at 7:30 in the morning, for an afternoon drop off, and not only did she reply almost immediately to confirm some details, she accepted the booking! I have never left my dog anywhere except for his groomer, and I was PLEASANTLY shocked at how well my dog took to her and her FABULOUS dog, and the other dog that she was watching. I made my brother’s wedding, and didn’t have to worry about my dog and his accommodations (dogs weren’t showered unfortunately) because I was so grateful for and confident in the care being provided by Ms. Rita. About: My family is a huge pet family and we have had several dogs of different breeds and sizes, so we are very comfortable with any dog - big or small. We recently adopted a Great Pyr/Pit puppy, Leo, and he is a big goofball. He LOVES other dogs, has had plenty of experience already with our Rover pups and is a big, submissive softie. That being said, he loves to play and wrestle, but if your dog isn't interested he may stare longingly at them from across the room, but will respect their boundaries. My husband and I work from home so we have plenty of time to give your pup attention. We also have 3 kids (9, 7 and 4) who are extremely caring and respectful of animals and they would be thrilled to help care for your pet while you are away. There will be no shortage of snuggles if your pup is a cuddler! And if not, that’s ok too! We teach our kids healthy boundaries and how to respect every dog’s needs. We have a one acre lot with an invisible fence and a quiet neighborhood to take nice long walks. We also have a “step dog,” a 5 year old Golden Retriever, that visits often and would love some new friends to play with. We have a 1 year old cat who has been brought up around all of our Rover pups, so he is very used to new dogs coming into his home. He may play if your dog is interested, but otherwise he will just go about his business and ignore them. We have watched several dogs that had no experience with cats before this and they have all done very well together. We understand each dog is different and would love to chat to see if we would be a good home-away-from-home for your pup! My husband and I both work from home, so we are around during the day to care for your pup. We are available weekdays or weekends and would consider short term care (1-2 days) or longer care if needed! We have a one acre lot and an invisible fence, but understand not all dogs are trained on this and would only use it if your pup has prior experience and ample time to get used to the property and fence at my house. Otherwise, we live in a quiet neighborhood and would love to take your dog on walks or play fetch out in the yard!

Me, I have had a pet since the time I was 2 and ever since my first dog, Molly, I knew I’d always need a furry child in my life at all times! If I do have to step out, I typically leave the dogs uncrated unless otherwise stated. All dogs are leashed when on a walk and going out to use the restroom. I currently work from home and get very lonely during the day! Having a fur baby to keep me company and let me share my love and affection to would be awesome! I also can work from anywhere and everywhere! So I’m completely flexible and open to whatever 😊 Yes, your fur child/children can sleep in bed with me if that is okay with you. I can easily crate your dog if needed! I do not have a fenced in yard but I would be able to bring the babies to dog parks since I can work from anywhere! Your best bud will have a great time romping around our 1/2 acre fenced in yard, lounging by a window watching the birds and squirrels, and of course, getting lots of pets, play and snuggles. I’m at stay at home mom and your dog will be part of our pack while they’re here. I’m available for day care or boarding during the week and weekends. Dogs have free rein of our home when they’re here. They can hang in our cozy house, lounge next to a window, sunbathe on the deck, or enjoy the 1/2 acre fenced in yard with lots of trees and bushes for sniffing. We cater to your dog’s temperament. If they love to play, we’ll be getting in plenty of play time. If they’re more into relaxing throughout the day, we’re here for the snuggles! Our furry friends are welcome on the couches. We also have a large orthopedic dog bed that our guests love 🐶 but you’re also welcome to bring their favorite bed or blankets, crate, toys, etc.

About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have only guinea pigs now, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. I have a pet-friendly townhouse community that I live in. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.

About: My beloved pet Cookie just passed away at age 18. I gave her plenty of love and care and will do the same for your dog/s. Can’t wait to snuggle with your pet and treat him or her like Family. I live in the Garnet Valley School District and have lots of time to give your dog happy hellos, soft snuggles and loyal Friendship. I have experience in letting dogs out from at their home and taking dogs for walks when owners are away on vacation. I love making dogs happy with kind words, food/treats, sitting next to them and rubbing their belly. My home is perfect for boarding because I live in a quiet, traffic free area and it safe to walk or board your adorable pet. I also have a gated deck to enjoy fresh air when the weather is nice. If your preference is to leave your furry friend in your home, I would gladly come out to your home to look after your pet/s in their familiar environment.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had cats as an adult. I love dogs but I travel too much to have my own, so pet sitting is the next best thing. I work from home and have good control over my schedule. I already take walk breaks during the day (including 45 min - 1 hour at lunchtime) and have a large fenced yard. I give lots of attention and cuddles to any dogs and cats in my care, and ensure plenty of playtime, running, and walks. Dogs and cats are welcome in my workspace while I’m working, and on the furniture throughout the house.

About: My parents always had animals in our home growing up and I have had plenty experience. I also have fostering experience through the BVSPCA of animals all species and ages. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a lot of extra time on my hands. My schedule is very open and flexible to suit your needs. I live in a quiet community with my two friendly pugs (male and female both up to date on vaccines and fixed) to keep your pets plenty of company.
