Dog Walkers in Yuba Pass, CA

About: Been a current proud owner of nine goats, four cats and two dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with care for livestock and house pets. I am currently available to provide 24/7 pet care on the weekends. During the week I am working part time at a day care in Nevada City, with shifts consisting from 5 to 8 hours. I typically have Mondays off and am off work by 5:00 or 5:30. Before I relocated, we did lots of walks around our neighborhood with our young shepherd mix and five year old cockapoo. They are always presented many occasions to use the bathroom and spend time outside with us.

About: I have a unique background with horses, farm animals, and dogs that want to walk all day in the forest. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered kittens, boarded cats, and stayed with dogs up to 200 pounds. I am available overnight for weekends, nights, and extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7am. I am currently available most days and nights due to my online graduate program. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

About: I have 2 Crested Geckos, and have lived with 4 different friends who owned cats. Within the last year I have walked coworkers dogs countless times and have dog-sat for them as well. I have pet-sat for coworkers in their homes from one night, up to one month. I have also volunteered at the Truckee Humane Society for about a year as well. I have flexible but consistent work hours that allow me to create a routine to take care of your pets. I love going for walks with dogs as well as hanging out and giving both dogs and cats the pets they deserve. I care for pets based off of what they need and what they ask of me. I listen to body language to understand what they need. I am content giving pets their space, or giving them all of the pets they want. I also pay extra attention to bathroom cues to limit accidents within the house.

About: My partner and I both grew up with cats and dogs in our households and we love pet sitting! We do not have any animals of our own due to frequent travel and not wanting the long-term commitment at this point in life, but Rover a great opportunity to fill the void of not having animals around. My boyfriend works remotely and I work on a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to come home for lunch on the days I’m in office. We have ample time to tend to pets and we enjoy getting outside for walks to break up our workdays. Having grown up with many pets, I'm comfortable with them being on furniture and having them feel at home in my space. I believe the best way for animals to feel comfortable is by sticking to their normal daily schedule.

About: I have been caring for animals for the last decade whether it was my own cat (sadly passed last year), my grandma’s dog, and my brother’s puppy. I love animals! I love to play with them and make sure they’re happy and well taken care of. I have my own small creative business that I run out of my home. I look forward to and appreciate taking breaks to play with furry friends! I would prefer to pet sit at your home as my space is filled with work in progress projects. I have a smaller SUV and can take your dog to the dog park or beach if preferred

About: I have taken care of dogs for many years and when people bring their dog they can feel at ease knowing their dog will receive the best loving care possible.I have always been a dog owner and have cared for multiple breed types.Dogs feel safe at my house. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs. I am available full-time Friday Saturday and Sunday and during the week I can walk your dog.If you want to come up to the mountains and go skiing I am available to watch your dog while you are out on the mountain.If you have more that one pet I can accommodate them. I have a 4 bedroom house and currently I have a small dog named Pepper that enjoys other dogs company. I don't have a fenced-in yard but if you board your dog with me I am very responsible and your dog will stay on the leash when I take the dog for a walk. My house backs up to the power lines and of the woods. There is plenty of places to walk the dog without having to get in a car.When your dog is in my care it's all about your dog. I am person that dogs are drawn to and they love me and they know I'm a dog person.

About: I have had dogs all of my life! I volunteered at the humane society as a foster care provider and found homes for many dogs during this time. I worked with a veterinarian for the past ten years and provided care for his dogs. I am very active and can also run with your dog if you have a high energy breed such as a husky. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own and can also groom, massage, administer medications, recommend holistic nutritional changes, and provide any additional services that your furry companion may need. I can bring your pup to obedience classes, vet visits, or grooming appointments! I will also work with dogs that have issues such as socialization issues, manner problems, or anything else we may discuss. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch the furry friends all day. They can have a private space in the home, in the yard, or join the pack. I can customize preferences to include a hike, trail run, short walks, pick-up/drop off at your pets location, light grooming, etc. In my home I have three dogs, and they can be separate or play together if preferred. i have a large fenced yard. There is also a separate studio with a kennel if needed. If visiting a clients home, I will adjust to clients preferences and instructions.

About: I love animals and started dog care for a family in high school. I’m a runner so I ran with the large dogs and learned to adjust walks to the dogs. I don’t have a dog of my own so i love caring for other people’s dogs. I’m a student at Chico State, but I’m available to dog walk on Thursday’s and weekends. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are.
