About: Hi! I'm Lydia. I'm a former zookeeper and animal trainer living in Panama City, FL. I have always loved animals and I've had pets my whole life. I currently have a cat and a parrot. I've cared for lots of different types of animals, from fur to feathers and beyond, so if you have other pets that need care while you're away, I'm your girl! I'm also comfortable caring for dogs that need medication or have special needs, blind, deaf, etc. I’m not able to provide boarding but I'm happy to stay with your pet in your home. I promise I will take great care of your fur babies while you're away. Lots of love is guaranteed! I’m currently between jobs so my schedule is flexible. If and when that changes, my updated availability will be reflected in the app. Thank you for understanding. Establishing trust between myself, the dog, and the owner is critical, which is why I require a meet and greet before accepting any new clients. It’s important for me to understand your dog’s routine and environment so I can provide quality, consistent care to them while you’re away.

About: I will provide a tremendous amount of love for all pets that enter my home. I grew up mainly taking care of dogs but I have also experienced one cat, two birds, and two Guinea pigs. I've had two litters of Chow Chow puppies that I raised. My most recent pet of my own was 2020 when I welcomed our first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to our home. Your pet will enjoy their time with me as their pup sitter, whether it's a brisk walk or overnight slumber, each moment is cherished as if they are my own. My personal experience will get us safely through the day, a belly rub a day keeps the fear away. Pet care fits in perfect for afternoon care. I work full time but have time for brisk walks out or a playful pup park run. Weekend sleepovers are fun as well. I currently crate my dog when away and allow freedom when home under adult supervision. When outside, a leash is mandated unless we are at the dog park, until our fence can be completely closed in.

“Marissa was wonderful! She is prompt, professional, and made our cats feel comfortable (even our blind cat who warms slowly to people). We received photos every day and communication was great. She went above and beyond and cleaned around the cat’s area, too! We will definitely use her again in the future, and highly recommend her! Thanks again, Marissa!”

“Gloria was great! She communicated well and did an excellent job. Our kitty was well cared for and we got super cute pics of him getting pets, which made us feel much better while away. Thanks, Gloria!!”

About: I am a Retired Vet Tech with 26 yrs experience. Our pets are a member of our family, the 4-legged fur kids I am a huge furry friend fan! I have experience with Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish, Lagomorphs, Equines, Canines, Felines, and Avians. When you want your pet treated like royalty and cared for like family.....call me up for a face to face meeting. I am flexible with dates, times, and services. Pet/house-sitting Daytime play and walks Over night stays if needed I’ve recently retired. I have plenty of time to play with your furbabies. Our daughter starts college in August 2023, she loves to help out when she is available. That’s 2 for 1! I (We) come to your home for your furbabies. Less stress for them and you! Keeping your pets on routine is important, so I follow yours.

About: My name is Alicia. I’ve been a teacher for 18 years. I have had pets for as long as I can remember. As far as “on my own” pets; I’ve owned five dogs, a cat, 4 gerbils, and 2 ferrets. I have experience in medication administration. I had a seizure baby as well so I’m familiar with them also. I have always been super close with my pets and they are allowed free roam of the house and love snuggling on the furniture. I wish I could provide in home services, but currently have a foster staying with me. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I’m currently working flexible hours, so I have varying availability most days! When doing drop by visits to feed or give potty breaks, I make sure to spend a little extra time giving them attention. I’ve found animals can get their feelings hurt a bit when we rush in and rush out on a care visit. I want them to feel special and know that everything is good until your return. I love animals and am familiar with many different sizes/breeds. Just let me know what your specific pet needs/preferences are and I will make sure they are comfortable, cared for, and loved.

“Paula was great!! She came over to meet him before we left town, and I really appreciated that since he can be a shy boy! She sent detailed updates and kept litter box area clean. We’ll definitely be using her again!”

“Kira was excellent! This is my first time leaving my pet with someone I didn’t know. From the moment we met, I felt at ease. Kira is personable, nice, and friendly. She sent me videos and photos of my kitten throughout the day and even made time to talk to me on the phone when I had several questions. She helped with weaning my kitten and introducing her to water and dry food. I was able to enjoy my trip with my husband knowing Penny was in good hands. I highly recommend Kira to anyone who needs a kitten/cat sitter. She is experienced and she will treat your pet like her own. She is very loving and caring towards pets and it shows! I plan to use her in the future on the next trip while my kitten is still small. Thank you for everything Kira! I appreciate it from the bottom of my”

They will be placed into a safe, kennel or crate if I must leave for a short moment. (If you have them.) Play time will occur multiple times and some possible basic training/behavior skill work. All pet parents with specific routines will just need to inform me on those, I am more than willing to work with you. I currently work for a company that focuses on animals, and my work days are Saturday thru Tuesday. All available days are perfect for walks, drop-in visits, and other quick services. Currently not offering in-home stays. The pets in question will be checked on periodically to ensure safety, and that they are not misbehaving. If crating during anytime of the day, be overnight, or while I'm away, I can do so. Whatever preferences you have, please do let me know!

Amy S.
“Amy is my wife. When I married her 20 years ago, she let me know we would never be without pets in our marriage. While this has been true, I’ve been surprised by the animals that have showed up in our house. While working as a vet tech in GA, Amy brought home newborn opossums to try to get to live after they were abandoned by their mother.. She’s brought home a kitten that was smaller than my thumb. We had a dog have puppies and Amy gave a stillborn puppy mouth to mouth. To say Amy is a wonderful and loving caregiver is an understatement. Amy has over 26 years of experience as a vet tech. She takes care of our menagerie and I know she would treat your pets like her own.”
