About: I love pets of all sizes, shapes, and colors! I can’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t have at least one animal. I have had dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, turtles, and ferrets. I know I hate leaving my pet family at home during the day, so let me brighten up yours with walks and visits while you’re at work, and cuddles and company while you’re away! I work full-time as an ER nurse in our local trauma center. I typically work days but my schedule is variable. Any questions about availability, please ask! My fiance and I live together, so we are a team in taking care of your pets when they come stay in our home. He has had pets all of his life and is always happy to have an extra pet around. I am looking forward to meeting your pet and brightening up their day, and yours. I have my own pets I care for every day. I’m home often during the week and am able to take my dog outside and walk through my neighborhood so he can get exercise. I am also home most weekends and therefore am able to give my pet all of the love and attention he deserves. Pets are family. There are no rules regarding pets not being on furniture or in certain areas of the home. Unless your rules are different, this goes for your pets too! Trust me to make your furry friend just as much a family member as mine!

About: As a passionate animal advocate, I've had the privilege of serving as the Foster Care Coordinator at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society for 1 year, while also volunteering with shelters throughout my adult life. Additionally, I'm a Certified Veterinarian Assistant, and my life's journey has been enriched by sharing it with diverse animals, from beloved domestic pets like dogs and cats, to hospice and senior animals. About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.

About: I’ve always loved animals, I have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd and he is my whole world. I will treat your fur baby with the love, care, and attention that I show my own fur baby. When I’m watching your pet, they will be safe, happy, and have the best time! I currently work full time, but I am available late evenings on week days and all day on most weekends. I am always happy to be flexible with my schedule. I live in an apartment so my dog gets plenty of walks, outdoor time, mental, and physical stimulation throughout the day. I provide a calming, safe environment in my home for my pup, and I bring that same calm and caring energy to every animal I meet.

About: I've loved animals since I was a kid and have cared for many throughout my life! I was tasked with raising my family dog since she was a puppy when I was in high school, and I helped my college roommate with her puppy! I have walked/boarded many dogs and cats since moving to Virginia! Being in the military, my coworkers travel a lot so I have become the workplace's go-to "pet auntie." I genuinely love to spoil pets and providing them with a safe and homey environment while their loved ones are out! I have a fairly flexible work schedule so I can come back to my home or to your home to take care of your pet! Early morning, lunch, and evenings are especially free, so I can work around that depending on your needs. I do not own pets, so they will be here as a single child in the case they are boarded! Crates, food, litter boxes, etc will need to be provided as I don't own those things. I have access to many parks around my neighborhood, so walkability is not an issue!

About: I, myself, own a senior dog and look after her well. I dog sit for family and friends when need be. I have also shadowed at a Veterinary office and work at one as well. I’m completely free every day until I leave for college on August 20th, so I can give your pets my full attention Monday through Sunday; walks, playtime, and all their care need I make sure that they get used to me first before jumping into caring for them. I allow them to realize I am trustworthy and here to feed them and love them.

About: I am an animal lover & have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, lizards, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, pigs, goats, cows, & horses. I have had the honor & privilege of having several 4 legged family members to love & care for in my lifetime but currently do not have any of my own so I would be grateful for the opportunity to love and care for your animals when you are away. About: I have owned many dogs/cats/ducks/horses. I have been relied on by many family members and friends to check in their furry friends. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child, I have always had a dog of my own as well as cared for cats and hamsters. I grew up with a mother that ran an animal sanctuary so I have seen and cared for them all! I love to stay active and would love to add a fur friend to that activity either on a walk or run! I work full time however I am home daily after 330pm and on weekends. I am available to have your fur baby stay in my home with a potty break mid day and lots of love after work or for a drop in and walk at your home. I have 2 dogs of my own, one is 5 years old and the other is 1 year old. Both boys are very friendly and love having other dogs to play with. I keep a gate on hand to separate them from our guest if need be because sometimes they just can’t stop playing and our guest need a break to relax.

About: I have 50 years of experience caring for pets. We had a farm for 20 years, where I cared for horses, dogs and cats...my own and others. I am retired, so will be available most days and throughout the day. My schedule is very flexible, so will be able to accomodate your schedule. Currently, we have one senior dog. She is spoiled rotten, as all dogs should be! Every pet has unique needs and I do my best to accommodate each pet and pet owner.

About: I am a 25 year old student studying marine ecology. I consider myself more of a puppy-person than a people-person. I have two dogs of my own, both of which are sort of seniors. I am a very patient person when it comes to animals, and I have been caring for a variety of animals since I was young (they used to call my house The Zoo House) I am a full time student but with plenty of time in the evening to care for pets, and taking breaks from the books to walk or run with your dog, bring it to the park, or play with your dog so that your dog goes home tired and happy would be a perfect way to stretch my legs between study sessions. Although I do not have a yard, I am able to make frequent and lengthy walks.

About: Ever since I was a child I have loved animals of every kind. I would love to care for your fur babies whether it’s overnight or just for a stroll. I am currently only working a few hrs. per week as I have made the decision to be home with my family more. Pet sitting would work perfectly for me. I’m available anytime that’s needed! About: Hi my name is Tanisha. I am a military nurse. I have taken care of dogs most of my adult life. I recently had my dog pass due to medical conditions. She had been with me since 2010. Since her death I’ve decided to open my home to taking care of others pets because I’ve experienced the struggle with finding quality pet care. You can count on me to treat your pet like my own. I have a 12 year old son, that also love animals, so between the two of us your pet will get plenty of love and attention. Your pet will be allowed to go anywhere in the house they choose, but I do not allow them on the furniture. Your pet will sleep inside of the home.

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life! Throughout my summers in high school I volunteered at GMHS as a way to give my time back to the community. I now have a 3 year old Jack Russell/Beagle mix named Nova, and we do everything together. I also have 2 cats Jake & Bailey, and a Leopard Gecko named Leia. I do work full time M-F, however I dedicate my weekends to spending time taking Nova on longer walks and having extended play time, and she loves having guest! I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I usually take Nova out to parks often, and out for play time in our back yard. She is very welcoming to guest and loves having someone to play with. If you are comfortable Nova and I would love to have guest join our walks and play times!
