“Sophie is the best. I know this review will now make it harder for me to book her again because everyone else will be booking her. She loves animals and is a true kind spirit. Very responsible and clean. Her care of my house equaled the care of my dogs. She’s very communicative too. A++ rating.”

“Megan goes above and beyond! From cleaning up a mess, to staying extra time if the dogs were playing outside, she truly cares about our pets. Our dogs are family to us, and I fully trust Megan to care for them!”

“We went out of the country for about 10 days. We have two elderly dogs one of whom now requires extra special attention and care with his diet and feeding schedule. We feel very confident that our dogs were cared for the same or better than we could do ourselves. We came home to a very nicely got home, and our dogs were very happy to see us, but we're very calm and had clearly been cared for in our absence. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our pets. Thank you so much for the note taking that you did and for making our minds at ease while we were gone.”

“We have a large dog so it's not easy to take our dog with us on trips. We also prefer not to board both dogs if at all possible. Lyn took great care of our fur babies and home while we were away! Huge comfort knowing they were taking care of so well and responsibly!”

“Veronica was great at sending notes and pictures daily to provide updates on how my fur babies were doing. When I returned from my trip they were absolutely fine and happy so it felt great to have such good care. Will be happy to have her back again with my kitties!!!”

“We asked Shaela to watch our two dogs (one senior and one puppy) last minute and she was able to accommodate. We are so thankful for her caring and nurturing nature! Both dogs were perfectly happy and healthy when we came home!”

About: Full time work from home. I’ve worked with a variety of dogs, cats, one iguana and some fish. I have administered insulin and med regimens. I can regularly walk dogs within a close proximity to my home. Since I work from home, I can easily stay in your home with your pet and give them lots of pets and plays all day long. I’m happy to take care of your space while taking care of your furry family members. I can take your pups for walks or to dog parks. I can also water plants, help with laundry, take out the trash, and other household tasks to ensure you look forward to returning home.

“Ashua is the most empathetic, kind caring sitter we have ever used through Rover. Ashua had the most trying situation to navigate as our elderly chihuahua passed away while she was sitting for us and she handled the entire situation with grace and heart tending to him to ensure he was comfortable in his final day on this earth. We will be forever grateful for Ashua!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of my family and friends animals. I’m looking for something to do in my free time. From high energy to couch potatoes I love all animals. I work full time during the summer and go to mtsu. I’m looking for something to do on my off days and when I have free time I follow instructions if left. I make sure animals have clean water and make sure it gets all their needs. I love going on walks and love playing with toys if they need to let some energy out.

“Shelley was amazing and so attentive to all of our pets needs while we were away! She sent plenty of updates and pictures. We could clearly see that our dogs and cats were very happy and comfortable with her. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Taylor was wonderful! She helped us so much in a pinch and sent photo updates throughout her stay. The house was in better shape than I left it. We hope to have her stay with us again!”

“Faith is the best! She was very communicative and sent me pictures and updates. It was comforting to know my pup was in great hands while I was gone. I came back to my home being even more clean than I left it! Highly recommend her.”

“Wonderful house/dog sitter! Great communication and videos were a plus to see how happy Harper and Lily were. Really cared to make the weekend positive in every way!”

About: I have been a pet sitter for family, friends, and friends-of-friends for almost five years now, and I’ve seen it all! I am a true animal lover and wanted to expand my pet sitting opportunities on Rover! I’ve cared for big dogs, small dogs, puppies, and old dogs, as well as young, old, domesticated, and feral cats. I am experienced in administering medicine for both cats and dogs, and have had my fair share of pet emergencies too. To me, transparency is key. I feel confident in my abilities to care for your animal, but I will certainly let you know if there are any issues along the way and we can work through them together. You want what’s best for your furry friend, and so do I :) I work part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to love on and play with your fur babies :) I am completely free from Thursday (after 3pm) to Monday night/Tuesday morning. I work Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00-3:00. My work hours are flexible and I am able to work remotely if necessary. I prefer to meet with the owners before dog or cat sitting overnight, either in person or over the phone. I promise to treat both your pet and your house with respect and kindness :)

“Honestly, I was a little leery of having a stranger stay in my home to watch my pets, but the moment I met Tonya, my fears were put to rest. She is mature and friendly and has such a pleasant personality...plus, my pups took to her immediately! She sent updates and photos every day, and it was nice to be able to relax knowing my doggies were well cared for. (In fact, I think they actually missed her when she left!) I would highly recommend Tonya and will definitely use her again. Thank you, Tonya!”
