She was also very prompt in her communication and provided lots of pictures each time.”

“Kimberly was so sweet and attentive to my old super senior kitty who’s been having health issues. She has a sweet momma like energy and was able to successfully give him his meds which he can be difficult about taking. I felt so safe knowing he was under her thoughtful care. Thank you so much for watching over Luke while i was away!”

“Erin house-sat for us when we needed a cat sitter for four days on short notice. She was amazing! Her connection to the kitties and thoughtful, conscientious approach to the care of our beloved companions set my mind at ease. It was clear from our first conversation that she was trustworthy and dependable, which was reassuring since we've never had a house-sitter. We have a senior cat who requires twice-daily medication and Erin handled all his special needs. She communicated clearly, left the house in excellent condition, and is also just a wonderful person all around!”

Wether it's play time with toys, nice walks around the neighborhood, hikes or cuddles, giving your friend what they need most is my top priority. About: I’ve been raised in a house with many types of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, birds and fish! I have worked at and volunteered at multiple wildlife rehabilitation centers and zoos, and have been taking care of family and friends’ household pets for many years. I’m focusing on school and working in my passion throughout this summer. I’ll be free most weekdays and weekends unless stated otherwise on my calendar. I am experienced in giving medication to animals and treating superficial wounds. I also have experience in dog training, crating, and cat & dog CPR.

About: I’ve taken care of young puppies, energetic dogs and senior pets as well. We are an outdoorsie family and like to go for long walk and hikes with our dog. High energy pet is a no problem! Our current dog is a senior, so we have a nice accommodating environment for her and other senior pups. I’m staying home currently with a baby. I decided to start providing pet care for extra income and for interacting with other animals, as we are not a able to get more animals at this time. I have a large house with a one acre yard and an and an overhead trolley cable. There are multiple rooms where the dogs can rest and a large crate where the doggies can be if they feel safe there.

About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. Otherwise I am home I have a fenced in area for the doggies to run freely. I have a dog of my own so I know what a dog needs and the love and attention they deserve! They can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable with at my home.

Our dogs had daily walks and playtime, and they and our cats received plenty of attention. Check-ins were prompt and frequent, and she has great communication skills. The experience was worry free.”

I know how to do basic training (not certified but have worked alongside trainers for years): leash walking improvement, reactivity improvement, basic commands). I have a senior, Bubba. He goes potty 3-4x per day in addition to hiking (Mohonk, Vernooykill Falls, Neversink, Catskills, etc) multiple times a week. I’ve learned a lot with in the timespan of my experience and am confident I can care for your animal. I am currently enrolled in the vet tech program for suny ulster I’m currently working part time so I will be able to have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a flexible schedule and will be able to adjust to your schedule I have two dogs at my house so I will only be taking overnight home sitting at the owners house. I will care for your pets as if they were mine. I love animals and can ensure you will they get a lot of attention.

“Barbara is downright awesome. Leaving a pet for the first time is always tough, but Barbara made it as easy as could be. It doesn't hurt that our pooches both absolutely adore her! Beyond that, she was very communicative from the time we first messaged all the way up through the visit and beyond. We had a somewhat last minute family emergency that meant we had to cancel one visit and shift another, and Barbara was very understanding and flexible. Our pups can really be handful together (or by themselves sometimes, if we're being honest), but Barbara followed our instructions for how to play with them without it getting out of hand and by all accounts everyone had a blast. We got lots of wonderful pictures and updates from Barbara of our pups with their happiest faces on, playing with each other and by themselves. As I write this, the morning after coming home, our pooches are happy and playful but rested and not overly insane, just like I'd expect after day of good fun. I (and really, my dogs Tina & Russell) would absolutely recommend giving your dogs the opportunity to hang out with Barbara next time you need to get away.”

Hannah C.
“Hannah has loved animals her entire life. All of her toys as a kid were animal related. She had a white lab, Samantha, when she was very young and always took tried to care for "her" dog. As she grew up, Hannah had a variety of pets ranging from rabbits, to hamsters to fish and frogs. Her favorite animal was always a giraffe. We are thankful there were no shelter giraffes in our area. If the teacher needed a student to take the class animal home for the holidays, Hannah always volunteered. The teacher had no issues with giving her this responsibility since Hannah always took great care of them in class. Hannah always asked for a dog growing up. She had many friends who had dogs and she would enjoy going to their houses and playing with them. Once again, when her friends would go on vacation, they would ask Hannah to watch their dog because they knew she would take great care of them. Finally, Hannah was able to get a dog, a rescue dog, Fynn, and she's the best Dog Mom. She provides Fynn with everything he could need from toys, to cookies, to medicine to plenty of activities to keep Fynn in shape. Fynn loves Hannah and is very sad when Hannah is not around. Hannah continues to watch other dogs when their owners need some help. The owners know their pets will be in good hands when they're with Hannah.”

cassidy c.
“Cassidy is a caring and responsible animal lover with years of experience caring for animals. Knowing she has training in animal CPR and first aid gives me confidence that she can offer the best care for all my pets. The additional fact that she is studying to be a zoologist offers further comfort that Cassidy’s pet sitting and companionship will be the best possible care for the animals I hold close to my heart.”

Karina B.
“Karina is attentive, compassionate, and loves to connect with animals. She understands common doggie body language cues and dominance hierarchy. She is caring, good-natured, and respectful of others. I would 100% trust her with my pets and home.”

Cortny B.
“Cortny is one of the most caring dog lovers I’ve ever met. She is responsible and makes sure that the dogs have all their needs met. She goes above and beyond to care for her animals and they love her too!”

Logan L.
“I’ve known Logan for over 10 years. When I became the Operations Manager at the Ulster County SPCA, Logan stood out as the best employee on our team for many reasons. She is a true team player—kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring toward both people and animals. Logan began her work in animal care and never hesitated to get her hands dirty. Her versatility and dedication allowed her to wear many hats, including taking on management roles. She has overseen the care of both cats and dogs, managed daily routines, monitored medical conditions, and facilitated adoptions. In addition, she played a critical role in training animals, staff, and volunteers alike. Logan is dependable, empathetic, reliable, and honest. She has a warm, calming presence and an incredible personality that puts everyone at ease. She truly has a gift with animals—she recently worked with a difficult, untrained dog belonging to a family member, and in just one session, she was able to get the dog to peacefully coexist with another it had previously tried to attack. I would trust Logan completely—with my animals, my home, and without hesitation.”

Bethany R.
“I have known Bethany for over 15 years and have found her to be one of the most responsible reliable and caring young ladies I have ever come across. I have seen Bethany in action with her own pets and she has always been kind sensitive loving and compassionate in caring for them. I am absolutely certain that she would do the same for any animal under her care.”
