About: As lifelong dog owners who love to travel, we know how nerve racking it can be to leave your beloved pets in the care of strangers. We have 2 acres of property, of which a significant portion is fully fenced to let your dogs run and play with the security of knowing they are safe. We have three fenced in areas to separate dogs that might prefer to play on their own. Our resident dogs are Emma, who's never met a dog she didn't consider her best friend, and Honey, our bossy Pomeranian. We own an on-property outbuilding behind our home that is insulated, heated, and has water and electric. We are also very flexible for special needs guests--just tell us about your dog and what he or she needs to feel comfortable away from you. We will also provide pictures during your dog's stay if that is desired. Even if you have a unique situation, please inquire, we're happy to work with you! We are currently working from home and have plenty of time and space to provide your pup with the care and attention he or she needs! We have three fenced in dog areas along with a heated, insulated outbuilding with water and electric. Depending on how many dogs we are hosting, your pup will sleep comfortably in a crate with soft bedding with other dogs secured nearby. We are very flexible and happy to provide tailored service depending on your pup's needs.

Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.”

It is February and the weather is as bad as can be. Freezing rain on top of snow. We never met Paula but she said YES, she would help us! Amazing!! Paula showed up a few minutes early. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

I am reliable, punctual, and have a very flexible schedule! I recently moved back into the area and don't have a set schedule, so I have lots of availability! I am available all day every day except for Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays I am available in the morning and afternoon until 3 pm. On Saturdays I am available late afternoons and evenings after 3 pm. I will spend a minimum of 30 minutes at your house, providing your animal with whatever care it needs, as well as lots of love and attention! I will take them on long walks, play games with them in the house, or even cuddle with them during their rest time, if that's what they like.

About: I have had pets my whole life and hold animals dear to my heart! I LOVE spending time with them and making them happy. I have cared for dogs and cats for years and am very patient with them. I have a fenced in yard. I would prefer to avoid bringing clients pets into my home because I have 2 cats. But if the dog is friendly enough and has experience with cats I would consider it. My house is fairly big. It has a basement and attic, with 2 floors they’d have room to run and play. I have a medium sized yard so there would be room for them to run and play. I also have a safe street to bring them on walks. I pet sit full time. I’m looking to gain more clients so please book me. I spend my time practicing yoga, studying holistic health, caring for my own cats, reading or creating… so I am able to shift my schedule around easily to fit your needs! About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. About: I’ve taken care of young puppies, energetic dogs and senior pets as well. We are an outdoorsie family and like to go for long walk and hikes with our dog. High energy pet is a no problem! Our current dog is a senior, so we have a nice accommodating environment for her and other senior pups. I’m staying home currently with a baby. I decided to start providing pet care for extra income and for interacting with other animals, as we are not a able to get more animals at this time. I have a large house with a one acre yard and an and an overhead trolley cable. There are multiple rooms where the dogs can rest and a large crate where the doggies can be if they feel safe there.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long I could remember. Growing up I always had pets that I’ve cared for and learned from then on about feeding my pets to taking them for a walk so doctors visits etc. I’ve had a lot of pets growing up ranging from rabbits to guinea pigs, dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, ferret, turtle. About: As lifelong dog owners who love to travel, we know how nerve racking it can be to leave your beloved pets in the care of strangers. We have 2 acres of property, of which a significant portion is fully fenced to let your dogs run and play with the security of knowing they are safe. We have three fenced in areas to separate dogs that might prefer to play on their own. Our resident dogs are Emma, who's never met a dog she didn't consider her best friend, and Honey, our bossy Pomeranian. We own an on-property outbuilding behind our home that is insulated, heated, and has water and electric. We are also very flexible for special needs guests--just tell us about your dog and what he or she needs to feel comfortable away from you. We will also provide pictures during your dog's stay if that is desired. Even if you have a unique situation, please inquire, we're happy to work with you! We are currently working from home and have plenty of time and space to provide your pup with the care and attention he or she needs! We have three fenced in dog areas along with a heated, insulated outbuilding with water and electric. Depending on how many dogs we are hosting, your pup will sleep comfortably in a crate with soft bedding with other dogs secured nearby. We are very flexible and happy to provide tailored service depending on your pup's needs.

Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all.
