About: Hi, I’m Maya! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—dogs, cats, and even horses—and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I started pet sitting for neighbors and family friends around age 15, and since then, I’ve gained years of hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family members. I’ve helped raise playful puppies, provided comfort to senior pets, and everything in between. Whether your pet needs energetic playtime, relaxing walks, or just a cuddle buddy while you’re away, I’m here to help. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about animals. I’d love to meet you and your pet, let’s set up a meet and greet soon! I am currently home from college for the summer and have a flexible schedule to fit your needs! I’d love to work around your busy schedule! I have a fenced-in yard and an extremely playful, friendly English Cream Golden Retriever who is two years old and loves playdates! I also have two cats of my own. Pets in my care get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection in a safe, loving environment. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel right at home. I’ve also had the privilege of caring for a three-legged dog in the past, which taught me how to adapt to special needs and provide compassionate, attentive care for pets of all abilities.

“Jordana is one of the best! She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable as we left our Stella for the weekend. She sent photos and videos. Kept in contact with me throughout her walks. 100% recommend and I can’t wait to book her again in the future.”

“Heather is great with my pup and she’s super easy to work with! I ran into a couple issues over the week and she was so accommodating and caring about my dogs well being. I highly recommend Heather for all your pups needs.”

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life, as I grew up in a pet-loving household where we cared for everything from hamsters and turtles to multiple dogs, guinea pigs, ferrets, and even fish. I’ve also volunteered both formally and informally with local SPCA chapters and animal shelters from a young age, helping to walk, feed, and care for dogs of a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have hands on experience with dogs who need extra attention and medical care. I've raised two dogs from puppyhood—my current dog, Sophia, and a pit bull my family had previously—and have done everything from potty training to leash work and daily routines. Sophia is diabetic and blind, so I’m no stranger to giving insulin shots, monitoring glucose levels, and understanding how to be patient and calm with pets who have special needs or anxiety. Whether it's caring for seniors, puppies, or pets with health conditions, I always aim to treat them like family because that’s exactly what they are. I am currently on break from school at the University of Delaware, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Preferably, I am available after 10:00 AM and before 8:00 PM. For overnights, I will stay with your pet for 12 hours (start/end depends on animals schedule) and do one drop in during the mid day. Reach out to me for additional care options (constant care, additional visits, etc.)! When I care for pets through walks or drop-in visits, I approach each home and animal with respect, patience, and awareness. I know every pet has their own personality, boundaries, and needs, so I'll never assume anything upon first meeting. I take time to observe their behavior, let them come to me at their own pace, and make sure we’re both comfortable before jumping into getting close and personal. This also helps me gauge what kind of interaction they’re ready for and to prioritize safety—for your pet and for myself—by staying alert to their body language, keeping a calm energy, and never rushing trust. I will follow any specific instructions you give closely, especially if your pet has particular sensitivities or routines. I also take practical steps on walks, like avoiding overly stimulating routes or unknown dogs, and I’m always careful with things like leashing, doors, or feeding to avoid stress or accidents. I recently earned a certificate from the American Red Cross in Pet CPR and First Aid, so I am prepared even for the worst situations (which I hope I never will have to be 😅).

“Danielle has been absolutely wonderful with my dog, Frank. She’s reliable, punctual, and genuinely cares about him. Every walk leaves Frank happy and tired, and I love getting her detailed updates and adorable photos. It’s clear she takes the time to make sure he gets the exercise, attention, and care he needs. I trust her completely, and knowing Frank is in such good hands gives me total peace of mind. I can’t recommend Danielle enough!”

About: Hi! My name is Joelle and I live and work in Wilmington, DE. My partner and I currently have four cats and a beagle/corgi mix! I’ve been pet-sitting dogs and cats for family, friends, neighbors and Rover clients for over 14 years and can’t imagine doing anything else with my free time! I am able to care for and have previous experience with up to 6 animals at a time. I'm currently offering drop-in care and dog walking services, with very limited availability for house sitting. References are available for anyone that is interested and I’d be happy to discuss making adjustments to the services/schedules I have listed if they don't match you or your pet’s specific needs. I work full-time and have a pretty flexible hybrid schedule. Most of my weeks are 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home and these days can be moved around as needed - especially to accommodate house sitting requests! While my work from home days change from week to week, I usually try to work from home on Thursdays and Fridays. For Mondays-Wednesdays when I am in the office I typically have the following availability (with some flexibility): Before 8:00am 12:00-1:00pm After 4:00pm If you feel like I would be a good fit for you and your pets but aren't sure if the schedules would line up well, please reach out! I am happy to switch my in-the-office days with work-from-home days if needed :) My goal while your pet is in my care is to create a relaxing and stress-free environment for them. I prefer to care for animals in their own home so that they are in an environment they are familiar with while also being surrounded by their favorite toys/things. I’m also big on routine and positive reinforcement! In my opinion, following the same routine as normal helps reduce stress on your pet while you’re away and I’m more than happy to recreate those routines for them.

I’m a stay at home Mom of two so while the children are at school mon- fri I am available & also available on weekends! I look forward to feeding, playing and giving your fur baby lots of fuss as well as walks. I am happy to help with crate training too if needed.

About: Through out my life I have owned two senior dogs who required extra love and attention. I have trained and worked with puppies as well. I am currently available weekdays at anytime throughout the day. I can do morning or evenings. I can not wait to play with your dogs! I have experience watching fur babies in clients homes. I can help in anyway that you need whether it’s medicine, walks, playtime, or nap time.

About: I am a dog lover! I have been around dogs my whole life and have my own golden retriever named Buddy. I love to take dogs to the park on walks while making sure they get plenty of water and stay cool. I have flexibility to work from home which allows me to spend more time with the pups. I have time to step away for walks as needed throughout the day. I will make sure your dogs are never put into a dangerous situation. I will also make sure they are drinking enough water and staying cool on the hot days.

I understand that every animal has a unique personality and routine, and I take pride in creating a safe, stress-free experience while you’re away. I treat every home and pet with the utmost respect and care. “Jamie was amazing! I really appreciate the love and care he showed my little guy. I would definitely book him again 100 times over. I also appreciate him taking in my package that I had completely forgotten about. I also want to say thank you for alerting me to some concerns he had with Charli itching and not using the bathroom as normal. Once again, I appreciate the time and care that you took with Charli and the fact that you treated him like your own. I look forward to working with you again”

Joelle H.
“Joelle is an AMAZING pet sitter. She has taken great care of all my animals (dogs and cats) and has been very receptive to my instructions, sends updates and photos, and is super communicative during the entire time I’m out. I typically have her stay at my home since my dog specifically has some anxiety so she also goes the extra mile by keeping an eye on my house. She’s great with my adult rescue who’s still learning his manners as she continues his training even while I’m gone! She’s comfortable with him jumping, barking, and playing rough as he’s still learning. He also has extensive health issues and administers his medication and keeps an extra eye on him. I fully trust Joelle to watch my fur babies and they love every time she comes over.”

Gabrielle R.
“Gabrielle is a wonderful, trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. She has been with our dogs since we adopted them as young pups. She was with our one pup from 6 weeks until she crossed the rainbow bridge. She has taken care of our dogs when we are gone for short periods of time and when we away for days. We would highly recommend her for you fur babies.”

Ashley K.
“Ashley is a very responsible dog owner. She currently has one dog, a Golden Retriever named Buddy! When Buddy was younger, he ended up having seizures, and now Ashley has to give Buddy medicine to try and prevent seizures. She loves and cares for Buddy, and would give that same love to any dog she cares for if she is given the chance. I recommend Ashley to anyone who has a dog who needs a pet sitter/dog walker, as well as wanting their dog to get a little extra tender, love, and care!”
