About: I have a dog at home named Benji that I just adore. He is what keeps me going everyday. I would love to get to know some more. I'm currently working part time with split shifts and would like to fill up some of my free time between shifts. Any day of the week. I'm gentle, and kind. I will follow all of your instructions as needed. If you need me to feed, water, walk, etc I'm your gal.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of dogs since I was a young child. Neighbors, family and friends have all asked me to pet sit! I now have a 2 year old rescue name Genny! She is very sweet, a big girl at 95lbs but extremely submissive in all situations! She would love a play mate and extra walks! Work from home M-F. On my lunch we always take a walk usually about 2 miles and Genny get plenty of potty breaks and outdoors time! I can follow any type of specific feeding plan and can ensure walks and outdoor time are a focus! I love dogs and would want to make sure your pet was taken care of they way I would want Genny to be!

About: I have been fortunate enough to have had animals most of my life. These have ranged from dogs, rabbits, chickens, horses, cows, and fish. I have volunteered time at a wildlife rehab and also worked a few years at a dog daycare facility that would average about 50 dogs a day. I have a bachelors degree in Animal behavior, ecology and conservation. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. I currently have 2 rabbits and a dog. I am a substitute teacher so my schedule is rather flexible. It allows me to arrange my week how I need it. My afternoons are usually pretty open. I will ensure that each pet is safe, secure and well taken care of in the comfort of their own home while providing updates to their families.

About: I love dogs and like to walk dogs to earn some extra money for my household. I had a male Australian Shepherd named Gonzo who passed away 3 years ago when he was 10 years old. He was pretty big for his breed weighing in around 70lbs so I can handle big dogs. I took Gonzo to training classes which honestly trained me more than it trained him so I feel pretty confident in my dog handling skills. Gonzo had a fear of people which lead him to nip at people. We worked hard working with him to help him overcome this fear as best as we could. I think this experience has taught me a lot about reading a dogs emotions and catching signals before a bad situations appears. I now have a 2 year old mini aussie who we rescued named Betsy. We had to work with her to help her with her fear. She is finally in a place where she can comfortably encounter people and approach with no fear. Betsy gets a little excited around other dogs she's not allowed to approach but she is making excellent progress. Just like with Gonzo, we are socializing Betsy and training to give her confidence. A dog should be able to go on walks carefree and with a feeling of safety. I feel that a dog needs a confident yet a friendly companion while taking walks and I can provide just that. My schedule is a little sporadic so I dont have a set schedule and usually do one-off jobs since I can't guarantee a consistent commitment due to my odd schedule. I typically care for pets at their home. Depending on how your pet is around other animals and pets, I would consider taking care of your pet or pets at my own home. I have one dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon.

Jason sent us pictures and told us exactly when he arrived and left which gave us peace of mind that Bella was well taken care of. I will definitely be using Jason again. About: Walking my dog has become the highlight of my day. Rain,snow or shine is always a great time to connect with my dog and nature. I would be happy to walk your dog, let he/she get in touch with nature all while getting in our healthy steps. I would be happy to brush, feed and,of course, get in some needed belly rubs. All dogs and cats need another person to give them love and attention. As a retired teacher, I would love to spend time giving your dog some exercise! I am familiar with tempmental dogs who may be shy, or have been rescued. My teaching experience has given me patience with children and that transfers over to dogs. I truly love dogs and cats!!

About: I have my own dog named Finn who is a 1 year old newfiedoodle. He is pretty relaxed but we enjoy going on walks and hanging out. I have always loved pets and been happy to help take care of the pets of my family and friends. I currently have weekends off to be available for pets. I also do not work in the summer months (July and August) and have time to watch and walk pets much more often. Our yard is not fenced but we have 20 acres of land to go on safe walks with a leash. I also have a large crate and can crate if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of, rehomed and have rehabbed dogs for quite a few years. I’ve taken in special needs dogs, and dogs that have had behavioral problems and have worked with them to reach their full potential. I love watching my family and friends animals and give them all of the comfort and loving they need. Oh, and also all of the snuggles! I believe in being able to read a dogs body language to make sure that they can be as comfortable as can be! I enjoy walking dogs and letting them sniff as much as they want for mental stimulation and to make sure they can be physically fit as much as possible. I’m currently working per diem at a nursing home. I’m looking to take up another job that I absolutely adore to fit into my schedule! I love to have a detailed list of the dogs needs and wants. I’m comfortable with crating animals and giving them positive rewards for good behavior! It’s all about positive reinforcement! I love to make sure your animal is as well taken care of as possible. I’m okay with using a few different tools for walking dogs as well.

About: Hi, I am Taylor and I live in Cheektowaga, I would love to be your go to person when it comes to giving your pets the extra mid-workday or "just because" love they deserve. I am very comfortable around all sizes and breeds. I have had pets my entire life. I grew up on a small farm with cats, dogs, goats, chickens, and so much more! I have owned dogs from 12lbs to 115lbs and love everything in between. If you have other furry friends in the house that you need to be checked in on I am more than happy to do that too! I am experienced with puppies and elderly dogs. I have 2 dogs myself! A 5 year old pug, jack russell, chihuahua mix named Florence, and a 4 year old fox terrier, chihuahua mix named Tyson. About: Having worked as both a dog trainer and a pet care associate for PetSmart for 3+ years - as well as having always been a pet owner myself - I’ve learned a great deal about how to suit the needs of each and every pet and how to best communicate with them and accommodate their needs! As a teacher aide with summers off, I will have almost complete availability over summer. I am flexible and willing to work with you to figure out what will work best for I can comfortably handle different types of animals with my 2+ years of experience owning my own (cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, etc) and working with different species, as well as training dogs at my previous job as a PetSmart worker for 3+ years!

About: I've had pets my whole life. I currently have a yellow lab named Spanky and a cat named Daisy. Your pet will be in good hands and receive great care. I am currently on summer break from college and have full availability at the present time, except for Mondays. Transportation to your home is not an issue. We have 23 acres of land in the country, which gives our yellow lab plenty of space to play. We also have a barn that has a doggie door to an outside fenced area.

About: I love dogs and had one for 17 years! Our good boy recently crossed the rainbow bridge and we miss him so much. I have experience with young dogs, but also with senior dogs I am currently available during the day every weekday, so whether it’s an early morning or late afternoon walk, I can be there no problem! I treat every dog like my own and give them as long as a walk as they prefer or as many pets as they desire!

About: I used to dog walk a couple dogs. Then I moved onto horses. So I know I can handle the hardest canines. They’re fun to have around. I’m working but also just thinking about doing this instead. Work gets boring and this wouldn’t. I love animals and they tend to love me back. I have a giant yard. They can’t be off leash but we can have fun running in the grass. I have animals that will stay upstairs when the dog or cat is here.

About: My parents have been breeding basset hounds since I was 6 years old. Ever since I can remember I have always helped my parents take care of our bassets. I would also help with the deliveries, which means I also have experience with taking care of puppies! My boyfriend has a pit bull mix and whenever I visit with him I will also help take care of his dog as well. She has a lot of energy so we take lots of long walks together. I work part time as a behavior technician so my schedule is pretty flexible. I mostly work evenings and I am off on Sundays and Mondays. I am also available most mornings. I am very good at sticking to a schedule and I am super organized so I will make sure that your pet gets fed at the correct time and has plenty of fresh water. I am an animal lover so I will be sure to give your pets lots of love and attention as well.
