“Thank you Ashley. Maisie was so much calmer after your long walk and plenty of attention. I love the pictures you took! Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for trustworthy care.”

“Madison took care of both of our dogs while we were staying at Claytor Lake State Park. She came over twice during the day and even did a meet and greet the night before. She loves dogs and took great care of our Penny and Lucy. We would definitely use her again and would recommend her to anybody. One of our dogs is human-shy and she warmed up right away to Madison!”
“Katie has been great with Indie, communicates very well, and is on time and flexible with our dynamic schedule needs so we are thankful to have found her and plan on making her our regular walker for the foreseeable future.”

About: Hi, I’m Jennifer! I am 25 years old. With extensive experience caring for a diverse range of animals—including puppies, chickens, cats, kittens, cows, and animals with medical conditions—I bring a compassionate and knowledgeable approach to pet sitting. An LSU graduate with a full-time job, I am always willing to accommodate scheduling conflicts. My own pets include a rescued kitten, an emotional support dog, and a Sheltie I've raised from birth. I'm committed to providing excellent care tailored to each pet's needs. Thank you for considering me to be your sitter, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me! I am available to care for your babies! Currently I work full time, 8-5, with weekends and holidays off. Thank you for considering me and please message me for any questions you may have. I always pay close attention to an animals body language and actions to make sure they are always safe and feeling okay! I would give your pet a great, comfortable environment as if they were my own. I wouldn’t want anyone doing less for mine, so why would I do less for someone else’s pet?
About: I’ve loved caring for dogs and cats for many years, including family and friends’ pets and my own Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, Oreo, who has been part of my family for 17 years. I also have extensive experience with cats, including the four cats currently in my family and others I’ve cared for over the years. I take a lot of time to make sure the pets I care for are treated to their specific needs. I’m currently finishing my library science degree part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to pet care. I’m happy to work walks, drop-ins, or sitting into my routine and make sure your pets have a comfortable, fun time while their families are away. I like to keep pets comfortable and stick to their normal routines as much as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and anything else they need, while giving them plenty of attention and affection. Whether I’m caring for them in your home or stopping by for a walk or drop-in, I want them to feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Hello! My name is Tessa. 🐾 Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember & caring for them is truly second nature to me. ❤️ From playful puppies or curious kittens.. to gentle senior pets. I’ve loved & looked after them all: including birds, fish & reptiles! What I’ve learned over the years is simple, every pet has their own personality & they deserve care that fits who they are! Some pets need extra play & energy while others just want a calm, reassuring presence. I pride myself on tuning in to what your pet needs the most. Whether that’s belly rubs, long walks or a quiet snuggle. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone new. That’s why I treat every pet like they’re my own. Patience, reliability & plenty of love are top priority! You can count on me to keep your pet safe, happy & comfortable while you’re away. Whether you have a bouncy pup or a sweet senior cat, I’d love the chance to give them the care & attention they deserve! As a dedicated parent myself, i understand the true importance of routine & reliability! Currently I am available weekdays ( Monday through Friday ) for dog walks or drop-ins during the daytime. This schedule allows me to give your pets consistency & focused attention while you’re at work or running errands! You can count on me to be punctual, caring & fully present for every visit: whether your pup needs a midday energy burn or some company while you’re away, i’m here to help! When caring for your pets, safety & trust is KEY 🌟 I treat every animal like family as if they were my own: making sure they are secure, comfortable & most importantly.. stress-free at all times! I pay close attention to their behaviors ( good & bad ) routines & their surrounding environment to ensure that they feel safe & happy whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home! Building trust with both pets & their people is a top priority of mine as I believe in open communication, gentle handling & creating a calm, positive atmosphere during every visit!
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had dogs of my own, so caring for them has always come naturally to me! I currently have two pups of my own who are truly my babies. I’m also a registered nurse, so I’m very responsible, attentive, and comfortable following specific care instructions. I also have previous experience dog sitting and dog walking through Rover. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your fur baby, and I’ll always treat them like I would my own! 🐾🥰 I’m a nurse, so my schedule varies week to week, but I typically have several days off at a time which gives me plenty of availability for pet care. On my days off, I’m happy to spend lots of time giving your pets attention, playtime, walks, and plenty of love! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I’m very attentive and will follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, routines, walks, or special needs. I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have nearly 7 years of dog sitting experience starting in middle school. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities and I pride myself on being extremely attentive, reliable, and detail oriented with every pet. I have experience handling multiple dogs at once including caring for up to five dogs for 7+ days, so I’m very comfortable with both longer stays in higher-energy households. I treat every dog like my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also provide consistent updates so you can feel confident and not ease while you’re away. I’m a student at Virginia Tech with a flexible schedule, typically having at most two classes a day. Outside of class, I spent most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My routine makes it easy for me to incorporate walks, feeding, playtime, and check-in consistently. I’m able to adapt to each pets needs and schedule, whether that means early mornings, midday visits, or evening care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a fence dog area, so dogs have a safe place to get outside and play. I’m very attentive and make sure pets are always supervised and cared for based on their specific needs and routines. I also keep owners updated regularly so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! I will be able to incorporate your pet into my routine seamlessly. I can also fully care for your pet in their own home. I can be there often if needed or stop by for occasional visits, depending on your needs. I promise to always leave your home better than I found it! I can water plants, harvest from a garden, or whatever you need while I am caring for your furry friend.

About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.
About: What truly sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong love for animals and the deep-rooted experience that comes from growing up surrounded by them. From a young age, I’ve cared for a variety of pets—big and small—which taught me not only responsibility but how to connect with animals on a personal level. Over the years, I’ve become the go-to sitter for friends, family, and others who have reached out, trusting me to care for their pets as if they were my own. My approach is always compassionate, attentive, and tailored to each animal’s unique needs, providing both pets and their people with comfort and peace of mind. As a graduate student, I have a flexible and well-structured schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet sitting. I can be available for regular visits, walks, feedings when needed. Pet sitting brings me joy and a sense of balance. It’s a meaningful way for me to stay active, reduce stress, and do something I genuinely love alongside my studies. I care for pets with plenty of affection, playtime, and a calm, structured routine that helps them feel secure while away from their owners. When caring for pets at a client’s home, I make sure to follow their established routines closely, keeping things consistent and stress-free. I always communicate clearly with pet parents, provide updates, and treat every animal with the same care and respect I give my own.
About: Hi there! My name is Lacy, I've taken care of all different shapes and sizes of pets since I was very young. I worked at a doggy day care for a year, as well as a dog walking company in Los Angeles where I took 5-6 dogs at a time for walks/hikes. I have some experience with simple obedience training, such as proper leash manners and basic commands like sit, stay, wait & come. I will be happy to take your dogs on walks or hikes, I'm also happy to take care of cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, etc. Let me know if I can help! Thanks! I currently work part time and I’m in my third semester of nursing school, currently taking online classes. My schedule varies from month to month but I will gladly help care for your fur babies whenever I can! My current living situation isn’t set up for me to keep pets at my home but I would love to take care of them in their own environment where they already feel comfortable and are familiar with the area!

About: Hello! My name is Hayley and I am an animal lover of all kinds. I had a chihuahua for 14.5 years until I had to say goodbye to him in august of 2024. Since then I have found joy in helping others take care of their furry family members. My Pedro was special needs so I am comfortable giving meds or helping with disabled animals as well. I promise to take care of your babies just like they are my own! Same day bookings and short notice bookings will be dependent on my full time work schedule as I work 3 twelve hour night shifts a week but please always reach out as I may be available! I am also willing to pet sitting for other animals like chickens, hedgehogs, etc. Just ask!! I am a full time night shift nurse so my schedule is crazy but allows me to spend the days with your pet. I am also able to get several days in a row off and spend 24/7 with your pet, if scheduled within enough time! If selected, I would treat your baby as if they are my own and would go above abd beyond in caring for them. I am unable to bring pets to my home but am more than happy to care for them in the comfort of their own homes.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and have a lifelong love for animals. As a dog owner myself with two dogs at home, I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets the same way you do. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, potty breaks, exercise, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I also know how reassuring it is to receive updates, so I’ll send photos and messages throughout your pet’s stay or visit to give you peace of mind. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I currently do work full time but I do create my own schedule and am pretty flexible so we can work around the hours needed for you and your pet! I do currently have two male dogs who are 8 and 9 years old. They both are very friendly and very playful. They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
