First off, running into an emergency needing last minute accommodations had me in panic mode, she was able to take him the very next day. He was spoiled, loved, got a bath for getting a little to dirty playing, got snuggles and she even asked me for permission to take him to petco as they had ice cream day for dogs. “This was the first time Luka stayed with Genevieve and her son Alex. It was an overnighter! It was the first time in a long time that Luka was away overnight. While Luka showed some signs of anxiety i believe Genevieve and Alex handled it with the utmost of compassion. They are really focused on the pets they care for. At pick up time Luka was still very attentive to both of them and showing signs of affection in her own ways. When she got home, she was very calm and right back into her routine. I have nothing but positive feelings about her stay and care. Also very important, Genevieve communicates well with owners which is very helpful in knowing how things are going. About: Recently lost my 14 year old corgi named Penny. The house feels very empty and since I’m not looking into getting a new dog I thought dog sitting would be a nice option to try. Fenced yard, hardwood floors, easily divided up rooms if needed. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5 but if needed would be able to come let a dog out during lunch. I love dogs and would treat any animal as if it was my own. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5. Able to come home during lunch to let a dog out if needed. My evenings are very open and can be dedicated to the dog I am watching. Fenced yard, no children or dogs in the home. There is an inground pool but dogs will be monitored. No neighbor dogs on either side to cause dog stress or barking
“This was a first time thing for us and naturally we were a bit nervous to leave Dora with a stranger. Francis very accommodating on when we could drop her off and pick her up. She went to Francis right away when we dropped her off making me comfortable. Francis sent many pictures during week which was reassuring. Happy for family atmosphere and Dora had Francis' dog to socialize with. Would use Francis again.”
