“This was the second time that Jessica and her husband took care of Jackson. He had another great time with them. Jessica went above and beyond, dealing with a broken collar. Highly recommend!”

“I booked Beverly because I thought she would take good care of my Lola while I was away. And she did. She messaged me almost every day I was away and sent pictures! Lola had a good time and got along well with Bev’s dog, Daisy. An added “perk” is the fenced in back yard where I knew Lola could do her “zoomies” safely. I didn’t worry about Lola getting good care while I was away. I highly recommend Beverly and would book with her again.”

“Jenn & Brian did an amazing job with our puppy! She loved playing with their 3 dogs in their backyard and going on walks with them. They took great care of our puppy!”

“Michael went above and beyond to ensure our anxious dog was happy and comfortable. Michael provided regular updates and photos. Our dog came home relaxed unlike following a trip to the kennel.”

“This was my dog's first time with a sitter and he was visibly nervous when we first arrived, but Mindy was able to calm him down and make him comfortable very quickly. She sent many updates with pictures and videos and he was clearly very happy with her! I highly recommend her!”

“Charlette was wonderful!!! Nikey does well with new people, but can get nervous in new environments. Charlette treated him with kindness and patience. She was able and willing to work with his normal routine and sent plenty of updates and pictures, which helped me feel at ease. Nikey warmed up to her, her home, and her family quickly. We are so happy to have connected with Charlette and will absolutely request services again!!!”

“Thank you Jodie & John! We really appreciate your love and care for Bella during her stay. Your back yard is just a paradise so I know Bella was very happy to stretch out and play with her new friends. I totally recommend others to use your service! If we visit Grand Island again, we will be sure to book another stay for Bella!”

“If I could give 10 stars I would! Dana and her family Rock! They were amazing with my 14 yo 5# Pomeranian, Roxie, was is a tri-pod. Roxie settled in nicely with Dana's super chill pups, and Dana. Dana sent us pictures of Roxie during her stay, while we enjoyed all Niagra Falls has to offer. We definitely recommend her and her family! We would (will!) Rebook with her next time!”

“Raisa took wonderful care of our dog, Bonita! We could tell Bonita had a fun and comfortable stay, and she almost did not want to leave. Raisa went above and beyond by giving Bonita extra home-cooked dog food and comforting her during loud noises and thunderstorms. Bonita also loved spending time with her daughter and husband too. We are so thankful for the love and care Raisa and her family gave Bonita. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

“I’m so grateful to Jennifer and Brent for taking such good care of my dog, Mishti, while I was away. She can be a little anxious and picky with her food, but they were so patient with her and even hand-fed her to make sure she was eating. They kept me updated throughout, which really helped me feel at ease. I could tell Mishti was in caring hands. They also took her on lovely long walks, which she really enjoyed. Overall, they did an amazing job, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lockport
Jordan and Nathan are the best! This is the second time that our dog Millie has stayed at there home, and we are so happy with the love and care that she received. They are so no flexible with pickup and dropoff times, and send lots of pictures throughout the stay. Millie always looks so relaxed and happy. Jordan and Nathan's dogs share their space so kindly, and Millie feels right at home. I will definitely be booking again in the future. Also, I have referred two others to Jordan and Nathan, and they both loved the care their dogs received as well.

Ashley took our dog when we had a last minute event. Gracie was well loved and cared for at Ashley's house. Ashley has a good knowledge of dogs and their behaviors and boundaries and was able to help Gracie adjust quickly to a new house. Her home was clean and organized and she has a fenced in back yard. I recommend her.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
