“Jordan and Nathan did an amazing job watching our dog Millie while we were away on vacation for a week. They spent a lot of time letting Millie get acquainted with their dogs and from the all the pictures and videos, we can see that they all shared their space together and Millie assimilated into their routine seemlessly. We looked forward everyday getting updates and pictures and it sure made us feel great that our dog was being loved and cared for by such a wonderful couple and their dogs, in their beautiful home. I already booked another stay with Jordan and Nathan for our summer vacation. Thank you Jordan and Nathan for all your love and kindness to Millie. We highly recommend them for their services !”

“I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful it was to have Bev. She was watching my dog during this last snow event and not only did she reassure me because I couldn’t get back in time (plane cancelled) that she would gladly keep her as long as needed she went to the store and bought more of her dog food as I didn’t send enough. I couldn’t ask for anything more. It certainly made me feel great that my dogs care was one less thing I had to worry about. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars.”

“Thank you Jenn & Brian for taking such great care of Rooney, just like last time. Thanks for all the pics and videos while we were away! Clearly he had a blast playing with your pups, and he also came home nice and clean!! 😀 You guys are the best!”

“Charlette is very kind and caring, she will take care of your fur baby as if it was her own. She communicates quickly and often, leaving you no doubt about the situation. I'm not sure how I could give her a higher recommendation, but if I could, I would!”

“Zaira communicates quickly and thoroughly. Machete didn't want to eat his kibble so Zaira provided him her wet food after asking me, which he happily ate. Machete had a great time meeting new friends, and we really appreciate Zaira's flexibility with drop off / pick up time for boarding. She had only a few dogs (her own and possibly 1 other with machete) so he was able to acclimate more quickly. We will definitely use Zaira again when we're in the niagara area.”

“Courtney provided wonderful care for our dog during a lengthy two week stay. She was constantly in communication with us, sent an abundant amount of photos, and made sure our pup felt right at home. We will definitely using her again for future needs and I highly recommend her to others!”

“This is my first time using Rover and Erica took care of my 7monthold puppy so well and giving me pics and videos everyday! She is super experienced in dog care and I definitely recommend her!”

“Michael was amazing. He’s so good with the animals. Treats them like they’re his kids. He messaged us updates throughout the day and took such good care of Kobe. He has such a big hearts for these dogs. Can’t wait to book with Michael again in the future.”

“Luna had a great time at Dana's place. Dana is kind and accommodating her place is pet friendly and her home is welcoming. Dana was eager to ensure Luna felt comfortable and happy during her stay. She sent cute photos of Luna while there. Luna and I look forward to seeing Dana again. Highly recommend as a trust worthy sitter.”

“Carol was wonderful with Star. Being an old dog I have not left her with a non-family member in a long time. I felt very good leaving Star in Carol's care. Star even snuggled with Carol's other old dogs. I would not hesitate to use her again.”

“This was our first time using Rover and our first time being away from our dog Nora, so we were feeling a little nervous. Naomi and Sam were the perfect choice. They were very accommodating and put us at ease with updates and photos of Nora and Brady having the best time together. We will definitely be using their services again.”

“Michelle did a great Job watching Sadie Mae! Was sent pictures consistently and updated. She took her for a walk/jog even in the cold weather. Will be using her for future boardings.”

“My dog Jordan was well taken care of. I highly recommend Raisa for dog boarding. She let me know how my pup was doing and sent pictures. She was very kind and I am grateful to have found her. Would definitely go through her again. 10/5 stars!”

“Jodie and John did an excellent job taking care of coco butter. They went above and beyond my expectations. Jodi kept in touch with pictures and updates and little notes. I would highly recommend them to anybody. The house was vey clean and a lot of safety features in place. When I picked up CoCo ; she had a little attitude because she didn’t want to come home. Hmmmm! Now that is a good sign of a dog well loved and cared for. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JODI AND JOHN. Thank you again so much”

“We were traveling out of the state and needed someone to take care of our 2 dogs while away. Just a quick weekend trip. I'll just say Monica is truly amazing. She took very good care of them. Playing and lots of cuddles. She sent daily updates with pictures and was so attentive to them. Always mentioned how they were doing and eating. I will definitely keep her as my repeat for any future vacations or quick getaways. Thank you again Monica!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lockport
Ashley took our dog when we had a last minute event. Gracie was well loved and cared for at Ashley's house. Ashley has a good knowledge of dogs and their behaviors and boundaries and was able to help Gracie adjust quickly to a new house. Her home was clean and organized and she has a fenced in back yard. I recommend her.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
