About: I’ve taken care of large dogs, small dogs, cats, ferrets, ducks and basically any pet you can think of. Everyone deserves to have someone care for their pet properly while they are away. I will keep your furry family member safe and happy while you are! I also take photos while they are with me that I can send to you with updates. I can’t wait to meet your fur friend!!! I am currently in college online. When needed I substitute teach for my primary income but it is a very flexible schedule. I care for animals more often than subbing and devote my workdays towards your pets. I have one very friendly dog, but if your pet is not into socializing they can stay separated. I want to make sure you come back home to a pet that is as happy as when you left. My hope is that whether you're on vacation or business trip your furry family member will be treated like they are part of my own family.

“Christie was excellent. My puppies loved her. While we were away, she sent me pics of the puppies every day doing something in their normal daily routine. She took them for walkies, which cemented her and their relationship because it is one of their favorite activities which we told her was optional because they get super excited and is like walking a team of pulling sled dogs. She handled it with ease. When we returned home after the "happy to see you" reunion, the puppies were calm, full of tail wags, and going back to Christie to be petted and loved on. Christie also watered my garden for me while we were gone. She is very neat and tidy and the house was exactly mirror to when we left the week before. Our puppies have limited access to other people so they are suspicious of all new people they encounter, Christie won our dogs over with ease because she has a very gentle, kind, and genuinely caring nature as person. About: I am a 30 year old female who loves all animals. I have grown up with animals all my life and have owned many of my own pets. I very much like spending time walking around or just sitting and gaming and cuddling with my pets. I am able to train puppies as i have owned a 3 time grand champion vizsla, though I am no professional I was just taught so i could show my dog. I enjoy spending time in the woods and or in the ocean just being about in the beauty of nature. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and in the last five years, have raised three puppies into well-behaved, mature dogs, and cared for my two senior dogs until they passed. I personally trained my youngest dog and she is the best-behaved pup in public! I have experience with administering medication, grooming, training, feeding routines, and overall handling, especially dogs that are skittish or fearful. All of these skills helped me excel in both of my kennel assistant positions. I am patient and fully willing to provide care for senior or injured pets, as they hold a special place in my heart. I'm currently a full-time student at MSU, and will share my schedule when a booking request is made. I have gaps between my classes, and am generally done with school around 12 pm on T/TH and around 2-3pm on M/W/F. Again, I have gaps between classes so I am available at different times of day. I am fully free on the weekends! I have three dogs and two cats currently living at home, while I have my third car with me at college. My college car is also blind and one of my home dogs has a torn CCL, but they both are adored all the same. I wouldn't change it for the world! My dogs are on radio collars on occasion (generally when strays begin to appear), but more often than not, they are inside-outside dogs and are let out on average 4-6x a day. My own dog, Felix, has the torn CCL and gets leashwalked 4-6x a day as well. All of my cats are free-fed dry food, and my blind kitty gets fed a special dry food. My oldest cat (13 yrs) is also fed wet food as an additional food, 1-2x a day. Their litter box is cleaned weekly, as we do not scoop, but I do scoop my blind cat's litter box daily, as she is the only cat in the dorm and the box is suited specifically for her. In my clients home, I will follow any and all rules and regulations laid out of me. I love "excessive details" as they give me a better idea of how to properly care for the pets. I follow feeding times and amounts to a T, and double, triple, sometimes quadruple-checking amounts of everything, whether it be food, medications, or the amount of excrement I find. If anything looks off (behavior, excrement, appetite, etc.) the owner is immediately notified with a mentality of "what do you want me to do next?" My goal is to treat the pet as good as the owner does, in the time I am around them. On walks, I encourage proper walking skills (heeling, low reactivity), and try to help teach dogs as I do so. If allowed by the owner, I'd use low-calorie, high-reward treats with a clicker tool to help refine walking skills. This way the pet gets mental and physical stimulation, while being able to still be themself.

I Also live next to a very huge park that your dog will enjoy walking in and enjoying others out there with their fur babies. About: I like to pay close attention to the detailed care list left by their owners so their pets are happy babies and their routines are met. I love sending pictures and updates to owners so they have a sense of peace when their babies are left with me. I have a great neighborhood for walks to get your baby out of the house if necessary. Please note: my availability is Fridays after 5:30pm. Thank you 💕 I’m currently working full time Monday through Friday. I have pretty relaxed weekends, which makes more time for me to love on your fur babies when you need a weekend away or a planned trip. I live in a condo with a great community that is very safe and a lot of outdoor amenities which makes for a great stroll outside. I had a mini Pomeranian that unfortunately passed due to heart complications in April 2026. So I now spend my free time at home doing crafts or enjoying the sunshine. About: I have been taking care of all types of pets my entire life. I have experience working with senior cats and dogs that may need extra attention. During the school year I take care of pets on weekends and some holidays. During the summer I am available any time! (I’m a teacher) I have a German shepherd and 2 cats.
