About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. I had my own dog for 11 years, so I know firsthand what it takes to really care for a pet, especially as they get older. Since my dog lived until 14, senior care and keeping up with medication routines is something I'm very comfortable with, as I had to do for my dog in her last years. I've also looked after family friends' dogs and cats over the years including feeding them, taking them out, making sure they're getting enough playtime and attention. It's always felt less like a job and more like just taking care of someone I love. I'll treat your pet the same way! I lost my dog not too long ago, but taking care of others pet is my way of keeping that love going! I’m currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule the majority of the time! I work from home everyday, except Thursdays. I’m most free Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the weekends. I have a large yard where your dog can run, explore, and play freely. Since I no longer have a dog of my own, my home and attention are completely focused on your pet during their stay. Dogs are welcome indoors and I treat them like family. They won't be left alone for long periods. I follow each pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules and any medications. I send regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I am very attentive to my fur babies I have a 11 year old and a 1 year old their names are Milo and King. King needs a little more TLC he has congestive heart failure and has to take heart meds for the rest of his life. Milo is a ball of energy he keeps me on my feet he love to play run and belly rubs. Dog grooming is also available if needed for your furry fur baby. Pet care is very important to me. Proper pet care is the basis of responsible pet ownership. Caring for an animal can help make you feel needed and wanted, and take the focus away from your problems. I have 2 small dogs who loves company King is old and set in his ways so he doesn’t play much just bark and Milo is the social one he gets along with all dogs. There is a dog bark near by that I take him to so he can run jump and play with other fur babies

“We love Alyssa!! She has taken excellent care of our cats, Misty & Fae. Leaving them is always hard, but Alyssa makes it easier with notes & pictures from each drop-in visit. She gives medications to Misty in the morning with her breakfast. We always leave instructions of their feeding schedule, foods, Misty's medications, etc. Misty eats a different food for urinary care. Alyssa knows their routine from caring for them in the past, but asked if there were any changes to the feeding schedule or medicine, which we appreciated. “Rowyn was absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her compassion, professionalism and how fantastic she was with my two almost 17 year old kitties! They require oral medication every day, which can be challenging, and on the first day, one was being difficult and refusing the medication, I had told her she could leave since she had already been there longer than the standard allotted drop-in visit time, but she was determined to make sure they both had their medication and was patient and stayed until they both finally took the medication. She absolutely went above and beyond, and was so attentive, so communicative and sent so many pictures! She always arrived on time, despite my saying the timing was flexible! She is someone we completely trusted with the care of our cats and also felt 100% comfortable coming and going from our house. She also went above and beyond and even did some cleaning so when we got home from vacation, we had nothing to worry about!! I cannot recommend Rowyn more highly! Emily is a gem. She has watched our 3 cats (1 a diabetic who requires insulin twice a day) several times and has always done a terrific job. Our last trip, Emily visited faithfully despite having to blaze a trail to the house following a raging snowstorm. I cannot praise her enough.
This was our first booking with Emily and the first time we've left our crew of 3 kitties with anyone new. One of ours is a newly diagnosed diabetic with the need for 2x/daily insulin. Given that she was new to her and I was gone, our pouting sassy little girl was not exactly cooperative especially the first night, despite the terrific freindly meet and greet ahead of booking. Emily was very patient and creatively worked through things for the two days. We will definately use her again and with familiarity, my sassy clingy cat will be way easier...we hope. Thank you Emily!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
